Merry entered the doctor's office as if she didn't hear a word from that conversation. She had so many questions with suspicions and confusions which showed on her face.

But as soon as she was in front of Mrs. Miller and the doctor, she hid her shocked expression filled with various emotions to the extent of her ability.

"You called me, Mrs. Miller?" Merry spoke trying to not let her voice crack. She was barely controlling herself from barging inside and getting a look on their face of those people when they are caught talking about me by myself.

"Yeah. I was worried about you. You stormed off from my office yesterday and suddenly fainted. I felt really bad. In addition to that, we had a little misunderstanding between us last time so it felt as if it was all my fault."

Merry calmly heard everything but she couldn't make sense of any words that Mrs. Miller was saying.
