A Day before

On a training field a group of children are in a well organised files and performing a set of fist and palm techniques and standing in front of them is a tall muscular man who then and there corrected the childrens if they made mistakes.

"Don't just focus on the form of attack but focus on your muscles which is more effective in the attack", said the instructor in a stern tone.

He is a member of the Ashborn clan who is now being a combat instructor to the current younger generation of the clan.

It's been year and half since Tyche returned to the clan, he has started training along with other children when they returned from their Mental Tempering Exercise now after a year and half there are about thirty children in the training field to learn foundational techniques and the number of children will increase as the time goes by.

In the lead of the file Tyche, Ray and other older children are performing the foundational techniques in a much more fluid motion than the rest of the children as they had perfected the technique some time ago.

As all the children performed the technique one last time the instructor said, "Now sit down cross legged and reflect on your performance today".

Then everyone sat cross legged with their eyes closed including Tyche. Even though he has perfected the technique Tyche still felt that he hadn't used his body to perform the technique to the maximum, he felt that there are some some unwanted movements in between each form of attack.

For the rest of the time Tyche was pondering about the how to reduce unwanted movements between the transition of attack forms. When he opened his eyes only children in the first line of the file remained, the rest along with the instructor left the training field.

All the remaining children were waiting for Tyche to wake up from meditation, when Ray saw Tyche opening his eyes he said excitedly, "Big Bro you are finally awake, now let's talk about the awakening ceremony tomorrow".

The children remaining the training field are all ten years old and will be participating in the awakening ceremony which will be held once in a year and this year's ceremony will be conducted tomorrow.

Currently there are twelve children who will be participating in the awakening ceremony and all of them are in the training field.

Seeing others waiting for him Tyche laughed awkwardly and said, "Sorry for the wait, I was pondering over how to effectively use the foundational techniques which took some time"

When Tyche mentioned about the foundational technique others also shared about their progress and their own idea of how to improve their form.

After discussing about the training they all started talking about the ceremony and the first to start the topic was Lily who is most lively among the group, "I can't wait to start cultivating and leave the clan to explore the entire universe"

Ray couldn't help but say, "You should reach Second Grade of cultivation to leave the clan and to leave permanently you should be fifth grade cultivator"

Feeling underestimated Lily said, "Hmnp, I Lily will reach fifth grade of cultivation in no time and depart to explore the universe"

Tyche shook his head seeing Lily's proclamation and said, "Now let's not talk about cultivation so early, for now let's focus on awakening ceremony and for our clan as long as you are willing to cultivate it doesn't matter what grade of talent you awaken just remember this"

Seeing that their elder brother talking serious stuff others stopped joking and started talking about the experience of awakening ceremony they have heard from their parents and elders.

After some discussion everyone dispersed themselves and left to their palace. After reaching the palace Tyche saw his mother seated in the table with some snacks on it, seeing this Tyche went to the table and said, "Mother, thanks for the food".

Seeing Tyche eating Collette caressed his head and said, "Tyche don't feel stressed about your awakening tomorrow this is just a procedure before you start cultivating"

Even though Collette said it she didn't feel stressed or anything as any of the supreme clans and major sects doesn't pay much attention to the talent of a individual, all of them will have their own standards in segregating genius suitable for them.

Tyche knowing what his mother meant just nodded his head while eating but he was still excited about start cultivating so that he can reach the top of the universe to live a worry free life with his loved ones.
