"Yes, she would have come back earlier if she wants. Why does she wait until now?" Garret cracked a smile and then turned serious. "Then why does she come back now?"
Farley narrowed his purple eyes. "No matter for what, she can't take Dave away."
Garret laughed out. "It seems that you also know it. I heard that Braelyn's grandfather is in poor health. Her uncles fought for the inheritance by all means. She comes back at this time because she wants you to help her stabilize the Goodwin family."
"I won't interfere in the matters of the Goodwin family." Farley's eyes were cold. He had clearly figured out everything.
"But Braelyn is Dave's mother. Do you think you can stay out of this?" Garret paused for a moment before lowering his eyes and smiling. "Where is Hester? How will you explain it to her?"
Farley suddenly stopped shaking the wine glass. The wine in the glass splashed on the back of his hand. Farley whispered, "Hester is my wife. No one can change it."
