The baleful horror stood up on its legs and raised its hands towards the skies.
The head of the old woman laughed, the face of the man wept while the deer twisted and screeched a tune of lullaby. Silver light flickered within the cracks in its body before it turned stiff and fell flat on the ground. Its body twitched, and the muscles underneath its skin spasmed as it crept towards them.

“What is that?” Vincent raised an eyebrow.
“Those who survived the Starfall, but,” Edgar shook his head.
“This place seems to hold a lot more secrets than I initially thought,” Vincent stroked his beard.
“Master! Let me take care of it!” Shyreiana stood up.
“No, stay here and make dinner,” Vincent held her chin. “I shall deal with it.”
“Yes Master! I will obey,” a slight flush of red spread across her cheeks before she sat back down by the fire pit.
