"Why me?" Lu Lan asked. she knew that Lu Xuelon had feelings for Si Li. Then why doesn't he marry Lu Xuelon instead of her?

"Why don't you read this and make your decision thereafter?" Si Li handover a file to Lu Lan.

Lu Lan read the file and was shocked, she almost cried "How could they do this me?"

Those were property documents of Lu Lan's parents' house. Lu Lan's parents took a loan from the dealer against the house. Because of Elder Lu's request, the dealer had agreed to give extra time to Lu Lan for the loan repayment with twice the amount of interest.

Lu Lan was currently repaying the loan. She knows that based on her salary she won't be able to repay the loan so soon but she never expected that dealer had already sold the house to someone without informing her.

"I will get back your parents' house for you, solve all the problems in Tex Corporation and also get you the position in the taxation department. You only need to marry me and don't worry, this marriage will be secret so you can date anyone if you want." Si Li explained.

"You planned this all, didn't you?" Lu Lan asked angrily, unable to hold her anger.

"Probably," Si Li said coldly and sat on the sofa.

Lu Lan wanted to strangle him to death, however, she knew she couldn't anything to him. Except, taking some time, so that she could find the solution to get rid of this marriage.

"I need time to think."

"Sure I give you 24 hours to think and I am sure Miss. Lu, you will say 'yes'" Si Li said with a slight smile.

Lu Lan returned to her parents' house. In her life, this was the only thing from which she got the strength and now if this house was taken away then there was no purpose in life for her.

Thinking of all the memories with parents, Lu Lan cried out loud and after a while, she fell asleep.

Next morning

The first thing she did was she went to meet the dealer but of course, he refused to meet her, she stood there till the afternoon when she got a call from the office that all the workers wanted to leave. Lu Lan left for Den City immediately.

Mr Lee was waiting for Lu Lan at the entrance. When he saw Lu Lan he hurriedly went towards her "Miss Lu, all workers want to resign, what can we do now?"

Lu Lan without responding to Mr Lee, went to the working area where all the labourers stood in a row and leader of the labourers came forward when he saw her and said, "Miss Lu, we all want to resign from this job?"
