Chp. 59 Can of troubles

"This is for my people!! Burn in hell!!" the old man pulled the string making the gas inside burst out and hit a child of Genod until it hit the walls therefore exploding.

Paul watched this in slow motion as he made a minor time manipulation as he watched the flames consume the Sea monsters. This will flood the whole place eventually but Paul did not waste the things he could get.

He had already teleported everything inside that could be useful towards his underground lab where he sent a command to his robots to clean it up and store them.

From unused escape pods, diving suits, three meter tall metal diving armor, computers, pipes, wires, metal and almost every debris that could be recycled was teleported by Paul in the last moments.

But he did leave out the large containers which will eventually float up as it will surely benefit the whole of port oasis. Paul looked on last moment at the satisfied smiled of the old man who seemed to have seen his family in heaven.

Paul teleported out near the pipe where the hundreds of so called great inheritances but were just supply crates floated as the whole place is getting flooded.

The underground lab experienced a strong tremor but it did not affect it over all as Paul made the place so sturdy. He did check on Teon Ma who was the father of this kids but was still unconscious, Paul was even wondering if this guy just straight up sleeping to avoid child support.

But things were still the same as he floated up with his Axe, when he was now out in the sea he could feel the push of the water subsiding and he was going to sink.

But he just pulled his axe and placed the handle between his legs while the axe head was behind him. Kind of like how a witch rides their brooms, but he just twirled the axe to make it act like a fan pushing Paul up towards his ship which was close to one of the surfacing escape pod.

*Splash!!*

Paul's ascent was so fast he had at least five seconds air time until he landed on his deck. He patted his shoulders as some kelp attached to it but he paused and looked to his side.

He saw a tall man as well as some people that looked like goons trying to open the doors of his ship. Paul did a quick brain scan making him understand they were pirates.

"Hey! How dare you try and board our ship! You want to die or something!?" the tall man said not realizing who Paul was but one of his goons were looking stunned as he saw the axe Paul held.

There were many warnings to them from other pirates to not mess with a tall grey haired man that carries a large double sided axe wielded on a galvanized steel pole.

Paul did not bother and just swung his axe killing the leader instantly knowing that the guy was planning to steal his ship. The goons were stunned silent while Kana and Bota who was in a near escape pod was somber as they felt they could not block such an attack from Paul.

"Kana…" Bota looked at his teacher/crush/big sister.

"He's the real deal, maybe he is the one that is rumored to the Curse Demon." Kana said.

"He is the curse demon! I saw it, the sea monsters retreated in fear when he suddenly arrived." Gongtae said as his escape pod floated nearby Kana's.

"Yep, and he took care of hundreds alone without ever getting him or scratched." Sonia was looking towards Paul who stood in front of shivering pirates that just heard who the guy was from the mouth of the people here.

'Shit! Shit! Shit!' was all they could think of as some fainted and some peed their pants.

"Get the fuck out of my ship if you just wanted to piss yourself!" Paul looked disgusted as he saw their wet pants.

"Kiee! Demon!!" the pirates did not care and jumped into the sea to try swimming far from Paul's ship.

"Damn, now I have to clean this mess up." Paul looked at the bisected man who still has a surprised expression on his face. Kicking the corpse of the deck to the sea made Paul see the pod where Bota can be seen carrying Rita.

"You kid, bring the girl here." Paul said in a commanding tone surprising the ones on the escape pods. Bota and Kana were on guard but they followed nonetheless as they paddled the pods closer to the ship.

They did not try to argue because they can tell they are not a foe to Paul, but they were ready in case he has harmful thoughts towards Rita.

The other fishermen and Harpoonist also came close to see the legendary ship that is own by the infamous Curse Demon. Once Bota and Kana was on top they noticed the various scars and repairs of the ship meaning this one face many Sea Monsters many times.

"Bring her here…" Paul opened a door which led to the Accommodation. The Ship was different from the first one he used as that was just a medium fishing trawler.

This one he is using is a battered medium sized Bulk Carrier which he modified by covering all windows with steel plates as well as one in the bridge.

"I'm going in." Jako followed seeing Kana and Bota following Paul

"Are you crazy? I heard that inside is full of bloodied weapons and tortured sea monsters, maybe that is why they feared him when he arrived." Sonia pulled back their leader as she remembered the rumors about Paul.

"So what!? If we are the first ever to go inside the ship of the infamous Curse Demon we can brag about it in the future!" Gongtae seemed excited as he and Jako were trying to catch up to Kana.

"*Sigh* These idiots." Sonia still followed her friends as they went to the door.

The others followed behind seemingly curious as well at the ship owned by the mysterious Curse Demon and they were shocked as soon as they got in. The whole place was so pristine and white, like marble tiles that shone with smoothness they cannot understand how.

"Wh-what?" Sonia was stunned as she looked at the clean path.

Kana and Bota were also stunned as they brought Rita inside. They followed Paul's large frame which somehow did not hit the ceiling as it was quite high.

They gawked at the fluorescent lamps lighting their way as they were led into a stairwell that led down to the inside of the ship.

Paul walked forward and placed the large Axe on a wide glass display where other weapons also are hung. He looked at a screen by the side and saw that the ship is still okay.

It might look battered and beaten as well as crudely made on the outside but inside was a pristine well designed interior that looked like a mansion.

They passed by another door and was greeted by a bright light, Bota and Kana adjusted their sight but was stunned again seeing the large garden within the ship.

The walls that separate Holds were replaced by titanium alloy braces that held the ship's integrity as well as prevent massive blunt force from affecting the small biome inside.

The lights on top were specially designed by Paul when he noticed how Union Busan seemed to ensure that their gardens were properly shone on by the sun. They were UV lights that mimic the rays of the sun after it was filtered by the Ozone.

Jako and the others behind were also slack jawed as they stared at the insides. They saw Fruit trees, vegetables on Aeroponic towers, even some caged animals that were thought to have been merely things made up in stories.

"T-that's a rabbit!" Gongtae pointed his hands on a cage were a few rabbits are being kept.

"This is a chicken!" Jako was looking like a pikachu meme as he walked around the garden.

"A Cow, he has a cow!!" one of the fishermen shouted in surprise making even Kana look towards where they were pointing at.

"Kana, where is he taking us?" Bota was not able to react much as he was still worried about his younger sister.

"I don't know." Kana was thinking real hard as she could never think of how someone could own such an advanced ship that no one has taken notice of.

"Bring her here." Paul waved his hand as he stood by another door but when Kana and Bota arrived they saw many medical equipment as well as various tools that they cannot tell what the purpose is.

"Place her in that bed." Paul pointed to a spare bed making Bota unsure what to do as he looked at Kana. She just nodded making Bota place Rita slowly on the bed, Paul on the other hand took off his armor and changed into a simple jacket.

Washing his hands first he then put on surgical gloves as he went towards Rita.

"What are you planning to do with her?" Bota did not let Paul close to Rita as he was not sure what he plans to do.

"I am going to examine her, now move so I can determine how she was able to keep her mind intact when Genod infected her." Paul looked at Bota who was seemingly reluctant but Kana pulled him away.

Paul nodded to the skimpy armored girl and went to inspect how Rita has changed. Other than his senses he used some X-ray as well as CT scanned the brain of Rita, he also took a few drops of blood to can as well.

"Give me your hand." Paul grabbed Bota suddenly and pricked him taking a few drops quickly that the boy was not able to react at all.

"Hmm, yours too." Paul extended his hand to Kana who was confused but gave her hand in the end.

"Why does she get to be treated differently?" Bota complained.

"You're a brat so be quiet." Paul did not care as he placed the three different blood on a centrifuge. He then did other physical exams on Rita as he thought that maybe something might have factored in the changed in her body.

Paul did not speak much as Kana, Bota and Jako as well as the others who calmed down watched him do a series of test.

"I never thought a rumored bloodthirsty man could have such a knowledgeable side on him." Sonia said as she looked at the grey haired Paul realizing that without the bulky armor as well as large axe, his face could be considered as handsome and masculine.

"Even then, to think such a smart man could give out so much masculinity. The envy!" Gongtae said as he looked with envious eyes at the well-proportioned muscles of Paul.

The other men as well as Jako were also looking at the muscles of Paul as they could tell how much work was put on it. They too felt envious as they wanted a body similar to that.

"Ugh…men." Sonia said in disgust but she was internally agreeing as she found Paul's body to be a candy to the eyes.

"Heh, women." Gongtae said looking down on Sonia realizing her eyes were also leering. The other fishermen also nodded in agreement to Gongtae.

Meanwhile Bota was fidgeting as he waited what the result was as he understood that this man in front of them was someone that might be able to tell what is happening to his sister.

As he was walking around in circles he noticed the other side where another patient seemed to be sleeping. But he only saw the feet twitch meaning that guy was waking up, he wanted to check but suddenly the alarms of the ship rang.

Paul paused as he looked towards a screen that showed radar of where his ship is being closed in by a giant blip.

"System, which Leviathan is this?" Paul said while the others were shocked at the computer interfaces. The two kids were bright eyes as they watched around the lab but they were held besides Gongtae.

[Leviathan Skutoom is closing in]

"Skutoom?!" Jako was pale as he heard the name.

Kana on the other hand was red eyed as soon as she heard the name, Bota was not able to see the man on the other table as he saw Kana run outside.

"Kana!" Bota ran after her.

"Everybody out!!" Paul said as he placed a few straps to tie Rita in place in case the ship gets a strong hit.

"You kids, you seem to know what to do. Watch over the girl and monitor her vitals, medicine is on that cabinet and see if there are abnormalities in case I have not driven of the big crab okay?" Paul looked at the two young kids besides Gongtae.

"Yes sir!" the two kids answered with serious expressions.

'Cute.' Paul thought as he rubbed the hairs of the kids as he went out. Jako and the others are following behind him.

Paul reached the Deck soon and saw Kana getting ready as she stared at the southwest where Skutoom is coming from. He spread his senses and saw many other sea monsters following behind the large crab.

"Shit! You get inside the pods! I will throw you towards Port Oasis, warn them about the upcoming Sea monsters and have them hide in the highest part of the town." Paul said as he ran back inside to get his axe and a chain with a hook at the end.

"Yes sir!" the fishermen and Jako went into the escape pods and waited but soon Paul was outside again with his axe.

"Wait, did he say he will throw us to the tow-AARRGHHH!!!!!" Gongtae noticed this in Paul's words but as he talked a hook attached to the edge of the pod then pulled the whole pod with them inside towards the shore.

"KYAAAAA!!!" Sonia screamed as well while Jako was being held in the leg by the fishermen as he was almost thrown out.

"BLUEGHBGHBSBLLEGJ!!" Jako screamed but water went into his mouth as he hanged behind the pod as it skipped the water surface going towards Port Oasis.

Soon they were on the shore of Port Oasis where some fishermen were already gathering the various 'Great Inheritances' washed up on the shore.

They arrived rather safely as their pod slowed down just in time for them to roll towards the rugged shore.

"He..he..threw us…he-blreugh!!" Sonia walked out groggily but soon puked at the sudden stop.

Paul did not care much as he was in his bridge steering the ship while he pulled the anchor up in case the crab went and pull the chain away dragging the ship with it.

[Leviathan Skutoom 1 kilometer away]

Paul stopped and went out the deck after closing the doors to ensure no sea monsters go inside. There he stood on the deck looking into the sea and Kana as well as Bota were waiting.

"Kana don't! You are still injure and not in the shape to fight again!" Bota said as he looked worriedly towards the big sister figure of his.

"He's right kid, go back in. I'll deal with the giant crab." Paul arrived on their side and he was glared on by Kana but he did not care and gave the girl a slap on the face.

*Pah!*

"Are you stupid or what? I know you have some sob story here but if you think you will fight the crab on my ship then you must be dreaming…" Paul's slap stunned Kana as she was brought back to her senses.

"…Hey kid, password is 12345 if you want to get in but I think you won't have time to get your sword inside. Here use this." Paul gave Bota a blade similar to the one Sonia has and a belt of Gas canisters.

"Don't let the sea monsters through the door alright? They can't go through the hull because it's too hard for them but they can still break the door if they tried hard enough. You don't want them going inside would you? Your sister's there as well as those two kids." Paul said before he dove into the water to fight Skutoom far from the ship.

That thing could at least damage his Hull and he does not want to lose his mini garden. Now that he thought about it, Teon Ma is still in the other table besides Rita.

'Well, let's open that can of troubles later' Paul landed on the bottom of the sea where he and Skutoom are now face to face.

'Hello big guy.' Paul said as he went on Werewolf form now standing about 4 meters tall. Now the Axe looks like a single handed one in his arms.

He did not stay still as he charged towards Skutoom and started a brawl with the beasts. Meanwhile on the surface hundreds of sea monsters attacked the ship where Kana and Bota were waiting.

Even when she is driven by vengeful hate Kana still coordinated with Bota in fighting. On the Bridge one of the kids were watching on the screens and saw the buttons on the table.

But his eyes were drawn on a weird console with a joystick and all. Pressing the on button he saw the diagram of a robot showed as well as which door would open if the robot is to be released.

He read the instructions so fast and understood that the robot was a worker model. What he did not know was there were other options but he read how to control the robot in the manuals.

Seeing the sea monsters seemingly endless he pressed the screen and sat on the console. Inside the ship near the weapons rack a door opened and a worker Bot walked out, the kid was starry eyed as he saw the screen where the robot could be seen walking.

Noah looked down and saw a compartment in the console open up, looking inside he saw a VR glasses. Seemingly understanding how to use it the kid put it on and was greeted by the POV of the Robot.
