CHAPTER 18

　　Ashley

　　I was bored out of my mind listening to the alpha, beta, and gamma (Devin, Mitchell, and Bryce) talking about the upcoming war with the Silver Howling Moon pack.

　　"What did you find out?" Devin asked Bryce. He had sent Bryce and a couple other of the warriors to gather information on the pack. Apparently they were a huge threat all of a sudden.

　　"Well we couldn't get close obviously. They would have killed us if we got anywhere near the border. The only useful thing we heard was that the pack has seven hundred plus members. I also managed to overhear the name of the alpha. You're not going to believe this."

　　"Who is it?" Mitchell asked.

　　"Luca Vega," I spit out my diet soda. "What?!" I screamed. The whole cafeteria turned to look at me.

　　"You mean the scrawny nerd that left?" Devin said confused.

　　"The very same. I know it's unbelievable right. I'm not 100% sure but it sounds like what I heard and the time frame fits."

　　"Impossible," said Mitchell.
