Lance Vs Travis

Travis immediately burst into anger when he saw how James looked. He immediately jumped from the tall building and managed to land safely. Travis managed to catch Lance's attention, who smirked when he saw him.

"Woah, you are pretty strong. No wonder you were able to get here. You have the ability," Lance said mockingly. However, Travis didn't say anything to him. He headed straight toward Jim who was currently crawling away from Lance.

Travis then bent down and began to inspect Jim. Inspecting him, Travis found out that Jim's injuries were much more dangerous than he thought. Jim was bleeding, and his clothes were in rags.

What was once a t-shirt is now a nasty mess of holes, muck and dirty stains, hanging from one of his shoulders like a discarded old towel. A huge hole in one of the shoulders reached almost all the way down, leaving much of him exposed to the elements.

His body was filled with bloody holes that made him look like he was hit by a barrage of bullets. Seeing this, Travis turned his eyes towards Lance with a terrifying code. Seeing, the terrifying look in Travis' eye, Lance smiled and said mockingly,

"What, you want to fight me? Hehe, I am waiting for you."

Hearing Lance's crazy laughter, Travis didn't say anything. He fed Jim his healing pellet. After eating the pellet, Jim's complexion grew rosier. He then turned and whispered a few words to Travis before totally passing out. Hearing the words that Jim said to him, Travis felt more sorrowful.

"Pls, Don't fight him. The current you is no march for him. You should escape now!"

Those were the words that Jim told him. The reason why he felt really sour was that Jim, still thought of him, even after he was injured and almost killed because of him. Yes, as the adage goes, "One would only be able to see his true friends during a crisis". And Travis had witnessed that first-hand.

At this moment, he began to blame himself for causing Jim all this pain. if he hadn't insulted Lance, Lance wouldn't have attacked Jim. If he had simply apologized to Lance after their conflict, none of these would have happened. At this moment, he was feeling deep regret as he wasn't even able to protect himself from other people. If this was the case didn't it mean that having a superpower was completely useless? If he couldn't even protect his own friends then what was the use of having all this power?

"What are you feeling regret for your actions?", suddenly, a mocking voice sounded behind Travis. Turning his head toward that direction, Travis saw Lance looking at him with a smirk on his face. Seeing Travis' self-blaming eyes, Lance merely smiled and said,

"You better feel regret. That is exactly what I want to feel... Hahahaha!"

Seeing Lance's face that was filled with mockery and contempt, he immediately burst into anger as deep killing intent filled his eyes. The surrounding grass began to wither as Travis's killing intent swept past them. His killing intent was so terrifying that even the weather became increasingly cloudy.

"What could you be thinking about fighting me?", Lance said. His voice was filled with mockery and contempt, however, they were a slight tone of uneasiness that could be heard in his voice as he talked. He didn't know why, but the moment Travis released his killing intent, he felt a huge amount of threat from Travis' killing intent.

He, a genius was feeling fear just from someone's mere killing intent. That was why he was angry. He was angry for feeling fear towards a normal person. After all, he was at least someone with superpowers, however, Travis was merely trash so how could he feel fear from him? Due to this, he was itching to teach Travis a lesson.

"And what if I am thinking of that?!", Travis said coldly. If one were to see the look on his face right now, one would scream in terror. That was because Travis' killing intent deepened when he said this.

However, seeing Travis' deep killing intent, Lance merely laughed as if what Travis told him was funny. Then his voice suddenly turned gloomy as he said,

"Maybe you don't know the situation you are in. It should still stay in your mind. Don't even think about it."

Even those who were hiding felt that what Travis said was utterly ridiculous. If he wanted to threaten Lance so that he could escape, he should have even said something better. At least threatening Lance with his mere strength was really stupid. That was why they felt so confused.

Some even felt that Travis was stupid. Above all, Travis challenging Lance was simply stupid. Even a normal person challenging a person with superpowers who was weak was never heard of. But who was Lance? He was agreed by all to be the second strongest person in the class. Moreover, he had his whole family supporting him!! They simply thought that what Travis was trying to do was simply stupid.

"Hmph!" seeing the mocking expression on Lance's face, Travis' lips also curled up. Lance also noticed this but it was too late. Travis suddenly moved, arriving in front of Lance who was a few meters away from him. After reaching Lance, Travis suddenly clenched his fingers into a fist as he delivered a punch toward Lance's face.

At that close distance, Lance knew that he wouldn't be able to dodge the attack. Even with that, Lance's lips still curled upwards. that was because Lance knew that even if Travis's punch was to hit, it would be absolutely useless. Since he had a stronger body than him, it would be absolutely useless against him. He totally believed his body.

He was not the only one feeling this way. Even the others felt this way too. Some even felt that Travis might hurt himself by hitting Lance. However, what happened next absolutely shocked them.

*BOOM!*

A huge explosion sounded as Lance was blown away by Travis' punch. The punch was so strong that Lance was blown away like a toy. He continued to roll on the ground for some time before he was able to stabilize himself.

At this moment, The park suddenly became oddly quiet. Everyone was looking at Travis with a look of surprise and amazement. Even Bryan, who was always known to be calm and collected, looked at Travis with eyes filled with amazement and confusion. As for Lance who was hit by Travis' punch, the surprised look on his face was even much stronger than all the others.

After all, he was the person who was really hit by the punch. He knew that even if he was to fully have guided against that punch, He would still not be able to withstand it.
