Opening his eyes, Travis could see both Jared and Duane staring at him with silly looks on their faces. They even had grins on their face.
"Why are you staring at me?", Travis asked, his brows furrowed deeply.
"Nothing!", Duane immediately replied.
"Huh?"
"Let us get out, I will clear the smoke!", Duane said a moment later.
"Hmm", Travis just nodded and proceeded to follow them out of the barrier.
'What is wrong with these guys?', Travis thought as he looked at Jared and Duane.
"Cough, cough!", Travis coughed loudly as the smoke flooded his nose and eyes. "Wind tornado!", Duane said softly releasing huge tornadoes which cleared the smoke enabling them to see everything clearly. When Travis saw the scene in front of him, he couldn't help but gasp in surprise.
"The… they, they are all dead?", Travis muttered under his breath. The scene in front of them could only be described in one word: unbelievable. Huge clouds of smoke rose to the sky, Fiery flames could still be seen burning huge trees and what was most surprising was the fact that the huge man-eating plants that attacked them earlier were all dead, their lifeless trunks slowly burning away in the fiery flames.
"Hmph, don't you dare attack us again!", looking at the huge trunks that were being slowly burnt in flames, Sarah couldn't help but smile in satisfaction.
"Wait! I thought Roland was Lance's cousin. And also, The Hart family uses only the water elements. How come Roland was able to use the fire ability?", Travis asked.
"Roland is the only one in the Hart family that can use the fire element, his mastery of the element is very good. On par with the strongest geniuses of the Banks Family. Bryan is the only exception though. He is really too strong", Duane explained.
'Oh, I see', Travis thought as he nodded his head.
"Let's get moving. We are the ones lagging behind!", Duane said as he looked at the radar that was given to them.

Back at the stadium….
The typically quiet stadium was oddly silent. Everyone was looking at the screen with fixed gazes. They all had the look of surprise and confusion on their faces as they looked at the screen.
On the screen was, a young boy who had black, short hair tied in a ponytail standing in the middle of a battlefield. He stood proudly, the edges of his lips almost reaching his ears. He had reached his right hand out whiles the other was placed in his pocket. A yellowish glow could be seen around his right hand which was pointed out. He also excluded an unimaginable aura, as his amber eyes quickly darted around.
However, what was more surprising wasn't the aura the boy was displaying, it was the scene in front of him. The area in front of him was lit up by fiery flames. The flames excluded an unimaginable aura, moreover, they were so hot that their heat could still be felt twenty metres away.
Visitor's cabin…
"Who is that?", Mr Wright asked as he looked at Mrs Rose.
"Oh, that is Bryan Banks. He is the strongest one among all the students with superpowers. Moreover, he is the son of the mayor", Mrs Rose explained.
"Oh, then he is strong for his size. Even in my school, he can be part of the first hundred if he really works hard", Mr Wright said.
"What? First hundred? How strong are your students then?", Mrs Rose asked her mouth forming an 'O' shape.
"Well, we have a student who is stronger than you!", Mr Wright said.
"And he is not part of the first ten!", Mr Wright said. Hearing Mr Wright's reply, Mrs Rose couldn't help but chuckle.
"Well, I still think Bryan will be pretty good for your school. At least better than that brat", Mrs Rose said.
"I see", Mr Wright said as he fondled his beard seemingly in thought.

"We are a kilometre away from our destination. The first position has been determined though. The only flags left are two", Duane informed them.
"Oh, then we have to be fast. The last team loses right?", Travis asked.
"Yep! But compared to our positions, I am more confused about how you are able to keep up with us!", Jared replied.
"Hehe, I have my own tricks!", Travis said with a light chuckle.
After running for a while, they encountered something that could be described with only one word, unbelievable. In front of them was a forest that had been swallowed by flames. The flames were so hot that, Travis could still feel their heat even though he was standing about 30 metres away.
"What powerful flames. This one is on a totally different level compared to Sarah and Roland's flames", Travis said.
"What the hell do you mean?", Sarah said her hand lit with flames.
"Bryan. He is the one who caused this", Duane said.
"Huh? Bryan? How did you know?", Travis asked, his eyebrows creased together.
"Bryan is the only one who can do this.", Duane said.
"I see", Travis said.
"Can you get us through the flames?", Duane asked Jared.
"Yep", Jared replied instantly creating a water barrier around them. However, this barrier seemed stronger than the one He set to block Sarah and Roland's flames.
"Let's go!", Duane said as they walked through the sea of flames. The barrier continued to make strange sounds as it was hit by the flames.
*Shizzle*
All they could hear was the sizzling that came from the barrier as the hot flames attacked it. Looking at the hot flames, Travis couldn't help but gulp a mouthful of air. He then turned to Duane,
"How did you know this was created by Bryan?", He asked.
"Oh, Its really simple though. I duelled with him once and I know how savage his flames could get.", Duane said.
"Duelled? I thought fights aren't allowed in the school?", Travis asked with his brows raised.
"Oh, it didn't take place in the school. It took place in at another place", Duane replied.
"Another place? Seriously? Where?", Travis asked. Hearing Travis' question, Duane's eyes darted around as he fiddled. After a brief silence, Duane took in a huge breath and replied.
"In the First-Class families' assembly!", Duane said. Hearing what Duane said, Jared, Sarah and even Roland turned to look at Duane with their brows creased together.
"Duane, I think you shouldn't let Travis know anything about it. Why did you even tell him? What if the leaders find out that you told someone outside the first-class families? Won't you be punished?", Sarah said worry written on her face. Hearing what Sarah said, Roland and Jared couldn't help but nod in agreement.
"I know. Don't worry, I trust Travis, It will be okay.", Duane said with a smile on his face.
"Em, if telling me would get you punished, then don't tell me.", Travis said. From Sarah's tone, he understood one thing; that whatever, Duane was trying to tell him was very important, and he would really be punished if he told him. So, in order to prevent that, he wanted to prevent Duane from telling him, anything.
"Don't worry, it will be okay.", Duane said with a smile on his face.
"Em, okay.", Travis said. Since Duane insisted on telling him, he would naturally listen.
"Duane…", Sarah said, her face full of worry.
"I said its okay!", Duane said, as he looked at Sarah. Seeing Duane's face Sarah decided to keep quiet.
Turning back to Travis with a smile on his face, He said,
"The First-Class Families' Assembly, is kind of a meeting that is held secretly. One of the main things done during that meeting, one main thing we do is to allow the members of the younger generation to fight in a tournament form. That was where I fought Bryan", Drey explained after taking in another huge breath.
"Who won?", Travis asked, his eye filled with a single word, curiosity.
"Of course, Bryan won. I only lasted ten minutes against him. My air element totally lost its edge when fighting with fire.", Duane said with a bitter smile on his face.
"Seriously? How about Lance?", Travis asked.
"My cousin's element was naturally Bryan's biggest weakness, however, Bryan still won after fighting with him for about twenty minutes.", surprisingly, even before Duane could answer, Roland answered.
"Hm, I see.", Travis said nodding his head.
"What about Jared?", Travis asked a moment later.
"Jared was also able to stand against him for 15 minutes before his defeat.", Duane said.
"Oh, I see. No wonder he is able to block these flames.", Travis said.
"Oh, you think these flames are really strong, don't you?", Jared asked.
"Yep"
"Hehe, then you are in for a surprise, because, these flames are only the tip of the iceberg. Bryan can make these flames with relative ease. He has stronger flames there, that he only uses when fighting strong people.", Jared chuckled and said with a grin on his face.
