The crackling was heard from the giant flames. Evan's nose could smell burning flesh, and his skin could feel the heat radiation. His eyes narrowed at the fiery orange color of the fire that burned human bodies. He was standing alone with Tristan. Olivia couldn't stand the sight, and she was being accompanied by Kara in the tent.
Carlos came to them while using crutches made of wood. "So, what happens now?"
"We will stay here." Tristan said as he continued to stare at the flames.
Carlos sighed. "I prefer we get out of here. Besides this place holds bad memories…. Don't you want to find a way out?"
"Ah, we don't need to find a way out, Carlos." Evan approached the Latin-faced man with his arms crossed. "We just need to hold on until the time comes."
"Huh?" Carlos's brows furrowed. "What do you mean?"
"Perhaps now is the time for you to know the truth about all this. I will explain about this place and so on."
