Konoha , Hokage office,

The third hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen was arranging teams for genin who were graduated today. For ordinary students, their team leader who be a chunin or special jonin. For outstanding students,he would arrange a jonin sensei for them. And he would arrange two boys and a girl for a team if possible because he believed having a girl in a team would make the boys more competitive and enthusiastic.

And now, he was thinking who should be the team leader of Ten Ten, this year's No.1 student. Honestly, he wanted to pull this kind of genius into hokage lineage. But what a pity. Hokage lineage was inherited to students from teacher. Among fourth hokage's disciples, only Kakashi Hatake was alive. Therefore if he wanted to pull Ten Ten into hokage lineage, he had to arrange Kakashi as her team leader. However he had already planned to make Kakashi as Naruto's jonin sensei.

'What a pity. Only if she is same year with Naruto ' Hiruzen sighed.

If he had to think about other jonin , there were his stupid son Asuma Sarutobi and Might Guy. As for others, he didn't think they were suitable or strong enough to be Ten Ten's jonin sensei. His son, Asuma had returned from the fire temple recently. After serving as one of the 12 Gurdian Ninja, his rebellious and stupid son became a mature and well experienced shinobi. At least he thought so. Therefore Asuma was suitable to guide and teach this genius. However he already had plans for his son. Hiruzen wanted to assign his son as jonin sensei of the next generation 'Ino-Shika-Cho'. His son didn't have enough prestige or strength to become hokage. So he planned to help his son to become a member of elders council. By becoming jonin sensei of the the next generation 'Ino-Shika-Cho', his son would have enough political influence in the future as the teacher of patriarches of Nara clan, Yamanaka clan and Akimichi clan.

As for Might Guy, he was a taijutsu expert. Therefore Hiruzen planned to make a taijutsu specialist team for Guy. Currently two members of team Guy were already decided, Hyuga Neji and Rock Lee. The first one was the genius of hyuga clan. So he would definitely use gentle fist, the well-known taijutsu of hyuga clan. And the second one was good at taijutsu and very diligent. Thus he was suitable to learn eight gates. As for the third member , Sandaime haven't decided yet. He was still looking for the girl who could make Lee and Neji more competitive. However even after searching for a while, he could not find suitable girl because this year students were too honest. When they saw the performance of genius like Neji or Ten Ten, they would admire and respect those genius. Most of the students didn't attracted to those genius. Hiruzen could not see the sparks of love between too honest and dense students of this year. Because he couldn't find a suitable girl who could make the boys more competitive, he decided to add a medical - ninja to Team Guy.

"Let's see if Ten Ten have talent to learn medical ninjutsu"

After reading all information of Ten Ten, Sandaime was delighted because according to her chunin teacher, she was very good at chakra control. Moreover,. that kid was a fan of his disciple, Tsunade Senju. That little girl really admired Tsunade and wanted to be a famous kunoichi like her. And Ten Ten had already applied for internship at konoha hospital in this afternoon . Therefore after all considerations, third hokage decided put Ten Ten in team Guy.

In early morning, Ten Ten came to ninja academy as usual. In the class room, the graduated students were already sitting in their positions and discussing excitingly who would be their future teammates. Most students wanted a teammate like Neji or Ten Ten because it would be nice to have a reliable and strong teammate during battles and missions.

Currently, Ten Ten was also very excited like other students. However unlike other students, she was not worrying about her future teammates or jonin sensei. She was exciting because academy would declare who was the best student of this year today. Then she would be rewarded by both system and village. The system would reward her 1000 points and the village would reward a C ranked ninjutsu to her.

At 8 o'clock, Daikoku came into the class.

" Good morning, sensei" the students greeted.

"Good morning everyone. First, I want to congratulate all of you for becoming genin. " Daikoku smiled and said.

"Next, I want to warn you that missions aren't like ninja games. A small mistake can lead to the failure of mission or your death. So you must be careful. And I wish all of you will become great shinobi and protect our village."

"Now I'll declare the best student of this year. The number 1 student of this year is Ten Ten but sadly your reward is not a C ranked ninjutsu " he said and shook his head.

Ten Ten got a shock.

'WTF! Does the academy change policy this year? So what's the reward? A D-ranked jutsu or money?'

'Or no reward? No...no....no... Impossible! I wouldn't have such a bad luck.' she thought.

Daikoku continued.

" Because you're the second person who passed the graduation exam with highest scores since academy was founded. So academy decided to reward you a B ranked ninjutsu. Or you can choose to get two C ranked ninjutsu."

"Wow! That's really amazing ".

" But who's the first guy."

"Don't you know? Let me tell you. It's Yondaime Hokage -sama,Namikaze Minato. And he was only ten years old when he graduated."

Originally quiet class room became noisy. Ten Ten left a sigh of relief.

'That kind of joke is not funny ' she thought.

Then she got two notifications from system. Now she had completed two missions, "best student of the year"and "prodigy of the decade ". Originally she didn't expect to complete the mission,"prodigy of the decade." And she got a total of 4000 points, 1000 points for "best student of the year"and 3000 points for the other respectively.

"Silent! Ten Ten, you can go to principal office to receive your reward after I had told you which team you would be in," Daikoku said.

" Ten Ten, Hyuga Neji and Rock Lee would be in Team 3."

Then Ten Ten left the class room and went to principal's office. When she went into the office, she met Sandaime. After being brainwashed by third hokage for a while, she chose a ninjutsu and went back to the class room. When she arrived to the class room, Daikoku sensei had already left.

"Ten Ten, come here," Lee waved at her.

Now students were sitting with their teammates. So she went and sat beside Lee and Neji. Lee was happy because he was in the same team with two geniuses and it motivated him.

" Do you think who would be our team leader?" Neji asked Ten Ten.

Maybe because of being beaten by Ten Ten, Neji was not as arrogant as he was in canon.

'Of course, I know who would be our jonin sensei. ' Ten Ten though. But she could not directly say that their team leader would be Might Guy, Blue Beast of Konoha because she could not explain how did she know.

"Well, you're a gentle fist user, Lee and I are also good at taijutsu. So I think our team leader would be a taijutsu expert."

While they were talking about their future team leader, Ten Ten saw a man with a weird green suit and haircut coming to their classroom. After seeing his bushy eyebrows and dazzling smile, she could guess who was the man. He was konoha's strongest taijutsu user, Might Guy.
