Konoha, Third training ground,

Might Gai led his new team into the training ground. Then he said, " Alright, let's introduce each other. You have to tell your name and what your are good at. As for hobbies, ambitions or something like, you can tell if you want. "

" My name is Might Guy. You can call me Guy-sensei. I'm good at taijutsu and can use a few ninjutsu. My hobbies are training in the morning, training in the afternoon and training in the evening. Well, who's next?" Gai continued with his signature bright smile.

Lee who was taking notes seriously waved his hand excitingly and said, " I'm Rock Lee. I'm good at taijutsu but bad at ninjutsu and genjutsu. My hobby is also training . And I want to prove that I can be a great ninja even if I can't learn ninjutsu and genjutsu."

" What a great ambition! I believe you can accomplish it if you continue to work hard,Lee, " Guy said with a thumb up and dazzling smile.

" Thank you, Guy sensei. I'll not disappoint you " Lee said with his tearful eyes.

Neji "…"

Ten Ten"…"

While looking at the bushy eyebrows duo, Ten Ten and Neji were speechless.

'Hey, we're just introducing each. Why did you two suddenly become so emotional?'

"I'm Hyuga Neji. And my hobby is meditation. It doesn't matter whether I've a goal or not because my destiny was already decided to serve the main house,"Neji frowned and said. Of course, he said ' to serve the main house ' only in his mind.

Neji didn't reply. Therefore Ten Ten introduced herself .

" My name is Ten Ten. I'm good at taijutsu and kenjutsu but bad at ninjutsu and genjutsu. And my hobbies are collecting weapons especially swords and fortune telling. I want to become a legendary kunoichi like Tsunade sama. "

Neji looked Ten Ten with a curious look 'why did you lie?'. After being beaten by Ten Ten many times, he knew although Ten Ten's taijutsu was strong , it was not as strong as her genjutsu. As for her kenjutsu , he didn't know because academy only taught basic techniques and did not allow to use kenjutsu during combat class. Anyway, he didn't understand why Ten Ten lied to their new team leader.

Ten Ten lied because she knew Gai would test their combat strength. And she told Gai that her genjutsu was not good to made him careless. According to her understanding, power of genjutsu was mainly depend on unprepareness of the enemy. If the opponent was well prepared, it was difficult to make him fall into genjutsu.

As she expected , Gai said.

"Okay. Now I'm going to test three of you. If you fail, you will be sent back to academy. So try your best. Let's burn the power of youth "

"Hai , Gai sensei " Lee nodded.

Lee rushed to Gai and started the battle. Next moment, Lee flew back with faster speed .

"That idiot," Neji said.

"Lee , Neji ! We should make a plan"

Neji and Lee nodded and came to Ten Ten. Then she continued.

"Lee , you assist me when I'm fighting Gai sensei. Neji, wait for opportunity and at right time, use gentle fist to seal his chakra."

Although she didn't think her plan would success and Gai would lose to 3 genin, this is the best plan she could think right now. To be honest, she was really exciting right now because it been a while she hadn't use her full strength and she really wanted to how strong an elite jonin is.

"Water release: water phantom jutsu"

After using her jutsu, Ten Ten ran to Gai quickly.

"Really fast" Gai said while looking at rushing Ten Ten.

Ten Ten jumped and tried to kick Gai. Gai dodged her kick swiftly and kicked her back. But his leg strangely passed through Ten Ten. Then he felt his abdomen was hit and he took a few steps back.

Gai was surprised because he was hit by a genin. Even though he wasn't serious, it would not be so easy to hit him like this even for a chunin.

'It seems that I have underestimated these little guys'

Then Ten Ten punched at Gai again. But this time Gai's speed became faster. Moreover Gai wasn't tricked again by her jutsu and seem to know where is her main body. Therefore she cancelled her jutsu and retreated to a distance. At that time Lee tried to make time for her.

After Lee was kicked away again, Ten Ten shot a shuriken at Gai and shouted.

"Shuriken cloning jutsu"

Then Gai saw that a shuriken spit into two shurikens and then two shurikens split again into four. In this way, the shurikens split again and again and became thousands of shurikens. Then Gai tried his best to dodge the shurikens but at the same time Ten Ten suddenly appeared behind him and kicked his back. So Gai hurriedly avoid her kick. At that moment Ten Ten looked at Neji and nodded. Neji rushed towards Gai and stroke at him. Although Neji's hands were fast, Gai was faster. Just when Neji's hands about to hit Gai, he disappeared in front of Neji and reappeared besides Ten Ten and punched at her face.

'Boom'

Next moment, Ten Ten was thrown away to a distance.

'Damn it. This guy really punch at my face. How could he really punch the face of the cutest girl of konoha. I was lucky that my hands were fast enough to cover my face,' Ten Ten though while shaking her sore hands .

'What a cunning girl,' Gai thought while looking at the self-proclaimed konoha's cutest girl. Then she used "super substitution jutsu"to exchange positions with the real shuriken and appeared behind Gai.

'But their mutual understanding and cooperation are good '

"Let's fight him together," Ten Ten shouted and rushed towards Gai. After their best plan had failed, it would be meaningless to make more plans. Moreover it was not live and death battle. After all it was just a test. In previous fights, they had already showed their combat strength and teamwork.

Ten Ten thought that this was the most important part because among combat strength, teamwork and strong will, strong will would be what Gai valued most. At least she thought so.

This time Might Guy would be more careful. Therefore her genjutsu would be less effective than before. So she decided not to use any ninjutsu and genjutsu to save chakra. Then she pulled out her sword and used chakra to enhance her speed and strength.

On the other side, Neji and Lee also stood up and rushed towards Gai. Then three of them tried their best to fight Gai. Ten Ten was acting as the main attack while Lee and Neji were assisting and trying to make opportunity for her.

Two hours later ,

"Alright, you can stop now," Gai said.

After hearing Gai's words, Neji and Lee fell to the ground and were breathing heavily. Compared to Lee and Neji, Ten Ten could still stand even though she was main attacker. Although she was tired, she felt that she could still fight for a few hours. It was all due to her senju bloodline.

"Now I'll tell your result. I think your performance in this test was excellent." Gai said while putting his ninchaku back to his pocket.

Gai did his signature post and continued.

" Congratulations, three of you are members of team 3 from now on."

Gai had to admit that these little guys especially the little girl called Ten Ten really made him surprised several times during test . Her strength was at the same level with most chunin and speed even surpassed most chunin. Moreover her stamina was really terrifying. Even after fighting for a few hours, she could still catch up with him. And he felt that she could still fight for a few rounds.

"Okay, you guys really have worked hard today. So I'll treat you with barbecue . Now let's go to the restaurant and there will be an extra reward for the first one arrive there, " Gai said and ran out of the training ground.

"Hai, Gai sensei,"panting Lee stood up and followed.
