Complicated Crisis (2)

Girish kept his senses sharp while travelling to the quarry. Even others were on edge due to the time limit and also the unknown creatures. Girish felt that while playing the game it was easy because even though the time limit is told in dialogues, it is not displayed but since the game is their reality he knew that it wouldn't be easy.

It took sometime but they were able to reach the quarry as quickly as possible. When they entered the quarry they were met with a drastic surprise. A creature with humongous body 7 feet tall and had a ferret face and crow legs is present there. It is dark in color and the dark energy emitted from it is high compared to the minions Girish killed.

Girish narrowed his eyes as the obstacle has finally arrived. "I didn't expect the dark monster to block us like this." said Alisa. Girish was somewhat expecting this since the Sept Terrion of darkness is targeting the three of them. He closed his eyes and tried to maintain his composure.

[Barrier runes being affected. The settlement is attacked by dark minions]

Girish opened his eyes as soon as the system informed him the news. Before leaving the settlement Girish asked system to mark the runes and inform him if the minions attacked the settlement.

He knows that Gaius's father can deal with them because he is a powerful spearman. Girish looked at Gaius and said "The settlement is being attacked by those creatures."

Gaius is startled on hearing those words and even it is the same for others. "You guys should hurry and deal with the crisis inside while I engage this creature." said Girish.

"I'll---" before Emma could. "There might be these minions inside and you're the only one aside me that can do something about it." replied Girish.

Emma heard those words and reluctantly agreed to go with them. "As soon as I divert the monster you guys should go and destroy the entrance and run inside." said Girish.

"Take care, Girish. If it proves dangerous you can run away." said Jusis.

Girish is surprised to hear those words from Jusis who got thrashed by him. "Okay. Thanks for your concern." said Girish.

"I wish you well, Girish." said Rean. " Good luck." said Alisa.

Girish nodded and the great sword appeared in his hands. "System?" said Girish.

"Yes host." " What are my chances?" asked Girish looking at the creature. "You have 70% chance if you played your cards right." replied the system.

Girish needs to be careful this time because his brothers are not with him and the monster is powerful.

Girish decided to land the first hit because he needs to draw it's attention. Girish kept the distance and when the monster turned to the right and walked.

"First form", "Poisonous Thrust"

He released the wave and before the monster could react the wave hit the monster causing her to be poisoned. The monster which was poisoned saw Girish and came running at him.

"Now." shouted Girish. Others took the moment of distraction and came near the entrance. The monster who saw Rean and others near the entrance could only growl. Lammy destroyed the stones blocking and they entered inside.

Girish who saw them safely entering the quarry is relieve because he can now easily focus on the fight.

The monster's claws came out and it waved it's hands towards Girish to claw him. Girish jumped back but monster strike the ground with fist and the area shook causing Girish to fall down.

Before Girish could react it came and punched him which made him lose consciousness for few seconds.

He knew that he is against a powerful monster but he didn't expect such a reaction speed from the monster. Due to the punch to his gut he felt immense pain. He recovered instantly and used his sword to pierce but the monster blocked it by bare hands.

"Graaaah." shouted the monster as it saw that Girish unable to stop her. "Amplify" said Girish. The sword released a brownish energy which flow through it's hand causing damage and losing it's right hand.

The monster now roared in agony after losing it's hand. The strange thing is that there is no regeneration of that part. Girish knew that only Light magic is capable of regenerating severe wounds but the dark energy can at least create skeletal structure because of necromancy but that is not happening here so he understood that these dark creatures are not same like the necromancy.

He felt a sense of relief wash over him because now he knows that the creatures will not regenerate as skeletons.

But the creature went berserk and it opened its mouth wide and released waves of sound energy which have high frequency. Girish is thrown away and is about to hit a cliff when he arranged his body in horizontal position and his legs met the cliff.

Girish launched himself like a bullet by pushing his body against the cliff and raised his sword. When he is about to slice the creature. The creature used its left hand to push him away. Girish's body went rolling towards the rocks but he did the same thing again but he put the back the sword and took out the orbal guns.

As he launched himself towards the creatures he released the "Fire jet" from the gun. The creature tried to defend by putting its hands on its face but its left hand got inflicted with fire burning it.

"Groooaah" shouted the creature as it hand got burnt. It's eyes started becoming red and Girish knew that poison started affecting it.

Girish tried to storm at it but his leg started feeling huge pain. He put immense pressure on legs so they are not responding.

He took out 4 healing potions and gulped them down. The health returned to normal and the leg is healed.

He wanted to look at the status window and decided to go with his strong suit which is magic. Before he could open it, the monster came running at him so Girish had keep moving back as it kept on slashing.

"Earthen hold." shouted Girish and the ground below the creature caught hold of its legs and put it in its position.

Thus now he is free to see his arsenal of spells.

Since it is a dark creature fire and light were the ones most useful. ""Fire elementals", "Light Legion" arise." said Girish with a cunning smile.

The area suddenly started glowing and in an instant four fire elementals and Light warriors riding on horses wearing armor and holding swords came out.

"Subjugate." ordered Girish. The creature saw the danger it was in and tried to go away. Girish lost 3/4th of the mana points to summon these things.

The poison took effect and it fell down immediately. "Why are you running away? The game is just about to start." said Girish aiming his orbal gun at the creature.
