Back in Nolten Village, Olken was sitting in front of his large hut, concerned for the lives of two children and a small gray wolf. Ever since the news of a Fire Dragon coming from the Telgrin Mountains, they feared that the Fire Dragon may attack the village as well.

Soon after, a blue light shined through the hut and quickly faded. Olken immediately went inside to see what happened.

As he went inside he sees me and Hyoran. He was happy that we made it safely.

"Kain, Hyoran, thank goodness, you're safe and sound! Where is Gris?" Olken said and Gris walked off from the teleportation platform, showing a larger body and silver fur. It shocked Olken.

"Wha- Kain! Why is there a Silver Wind Wolf here!? Are you mad!?" Olken shouted. Olken rushed at us to drag us back.

I put my hands out that Gris is friendly.

"Wait! It's Gris!" I yelled back.

"What? Impossible! There's no way that is Gris! I bet Gris gave his life to protect you two." Olken said.

"That's not true! I'll prove it. Gris, roll over." I said.

With this, Gris rolled over in front of me.

"Now sit."

Gris then sat on his hind legs.

"So it is Gris, then? Why is he bigger and silver?" Olken said.

Well, no point in hiding Gris, but I can't let him know about the other three. But I can't tell him that I evolved Gris twice.

"He evolved during the adventures we were going." I answered.

"Evolved? So he evolved right in front of you, right? Those guys are immune to Wind and resists Water and Earth magic. Much more threatening than a regular Silver Wolf. They could even dominate Wind Magic for some." Olken said.

Yeah, I saw that he gained Wind Dominance, Earth Ward, and Water Ward on top of the resistance and nullification. Let me show you.

Yep, Gris got the Wind Dominance skill. When Olken said beasts like Gris having this skill are rare, even rarer in Nolten Forest. Only common for it is where Elementals get it.

"So, you've heard about the dragon, yes?" Olken said.

"Yeah, mama and papa told us it's dangerous for us to stay there." Hyoran said. Hyoran's ears drooped down as she already misses her parents.

"Don't worry, lass. Your parents are strong and will come back victorious." Olken said, reassuring Hyoran. "The villagers are going as normal, but are aware of the dragon. How your mother got this information is the adventurer named Felix. He's the one in a brown overcoat."

It's the same guy then. Again, the dragon as an adolescent is not to be taken lightly.

"Go on home or start hunting, just make it back when you hear the horn." Olken said.

We left Olken's hut and decided to start hunting to keep Hyoran's mind off of it. As we left the village, I immediately asked the system where are my three other monsters.

"System, where's Schwarze, Noire, and Paura?"

[Schwarze is in the Telgrin Forest. Noire is around the Nuen Mines. Paura is in Telgrin Forest as well.]

"Telgrin...that's the location leading the mountains and where the Flame Dragon is headed. Can I see his vision?"

[You need a Unique Skill, Overvision. It costs 10,000. Proceed?]

"Do it."

[Acknowledged. Unique Skill, Overvision acquired.]

"Schwarze, can you see the dragon?"

Schwarze flew upwards to a sky where the Telgrin forest is but mere bushes. He looked ahead, allowing me to see a red figure flying towards him.

A large red figure is flying in the distance, two wings, four legs, bone white claws, and red eyes. This dragon is definitely a Fire Dragon. I better appraise it.

"System, check this dragon through Schwarze."

[Checking....completed.]

Whoever had Fire Ward-III, that's useless against the dragon. Dragon Ward weakens magic spells and if magic spells are two tiers lower than the Ward skill, that attack spell is invalidated. Pierce breaks through Wards. Scale protects dragons from spells, reducing damage.

"Schwarze, Paura, retreat to Nolten Forest. I am located there. Noire, come back as well" I said.

*BREEEP!* *BREEEP!*

[Warning. Incoming attack from Fire Dragon, aiming at Schwarze.]

With my immediate response, I yell out to Schwarze.

"Schwarze, dive into the forest! Get out of the sky!"

The red dragon lets out a scorching hot breath from its maw as it is in flight. Schwarze dove out of the way and a stream of flame blazes by. The red dragon continues its flight towards Noltia, ignoring Schwarze completely.

That dragon must be real pissed for it to travel far from its current territory. If it's heading to where I'm at, it's a different story.

"Let's get to hunting." I said and began walking.

As we left the village, almost immediately, 5 Colorless Slimes jump out in front of us and then a silver blur sped by and reduced them to fine mist. That silver blur was Gris.

We continued through the usual hunting ground we used to go and 20 more came and began to fuse. However, I'm not waiting for it.

"Gris, use Tornado." I said.

Gris began emitting his green aura and howled within a couple seconds. After that, a tornado brewed in the middle of the slime group.

Crap, it's happening. At least I am not a witch.

Anyways, the Tier V Wind spell, Tornado brewed in and swept up every single one of the slimes. Its violent winds scattered their remains all over the forest.

We continued further and passed the bridge where monsters are no lower than F rank. There were more wolves than usual since their hobgoblin was killed. The reason the Forest Guardian didn't jump in on the territory war is that fire wasn't being used extensively.

Anyways, I was thinking that I could get a fox monster, but with this many wolves, it'll be difficult. I could find a Wind Elemental, but there's a greater chance I'll find a Leaf Elemental.

Well, no harm in trying.
