Chapter 99 - Methods, Requests and Price.

Within the Divine Feathers Sect, there were three major factions: the Dragonseal Family, the Gu Clan, and the Ashen Flames Family.

Gu Lan and Gu Bei were the direct descendent of the Gu Clan. With Gu Lan's talent, she was thought to be a candidate for the next successor of Gu Clan. But, she was suddenly paralyzed for unknown reasons. There are many factions within the Gu Clan among the younger generations. Many had supported Gu Lan. Before Gu Lan was crippled, her prestige in the Clan was high and had far surpassed the second-highest, Gu Heng.

Even now, she was supported by the First Elder.

That is what Ying Yueru had told them.

Tatsuya used decomposition to remove the ice trapping Gu Bei. He didn't apologize for Miyuki's act. But politely greeted Gu Lan, "My name is Tatsuya, she is Miyuki. It is our honor to meet you."

Miyuki curled her lips into a smile, "It was Ying Yueru." She had seen Gu Yan ask this.

She sincerely looked at them, "If you can find a way to cure me, then I will fulfill your request. As long as it is in my power."

Tatsuya nodded; he hesitated for a moment, "I would have to look at you to understand your situation; it might be uncomfortable for you."

Gu Lan felt a sense of awkwardness, "Ok."

Tatsuya didn't delay; he used elemental sight to watch her. It didn't take long before he realized what the problem was.

Gu Lan, on the other hand, was blushing and squirming in her chair. She felt naked as if Tatsuya was seeing through whole her being. Just when Gu Lan couldn't take it anymore, Tatsuya removed his sight. She finally couldn't help but sigh in relief.

After sighing, she couldn't help send Miyuki a look.

Miyuki awkwardly looked away; she knew the way it felt when Tatsuya looked through elemental sight. But, she couldn't help it; it was necessary if they wanted to see the cause of Gu Lan's illness.

She also sighed with helplessness, 'Onii-sama!'

Gu Lan glared at Tatsuya severely after she saw Miyuki look away. He better finds a reason after looking at her like that.

Tatsuya was lost in deep thought; he slowly spoke what he found, "it is odorless and colorless poison. It clogged up your vein, halting your cultivation and leaving you crippled."

Gu Bei was startled; he wanted to speak, but he couldn't stop shivering.

Gu Lan had softened after hearing that, "can this poison be healed?"

Tatsuya thought for a bit; the longer he thought, the worse Gu Lan felt. She felt the hope that had, risen, dimming.

Soon, Tatsuya told her, "there are many; it depends which you chose." He was thinking about how many of his methods he should reveal. But, at the end of the day, he will only expose one. Although he might leave the hint of others but nothing too severe. Moreover, Ying Yueru said they could trust these people. For some reason, he felt a strange connection with Ying Yueru. He couldn't help but believe in her.

"I am new to Draconic Ruins Realm, so I don't know about the herbs and poison here. I can give you the composition of the poison that has affected you, and you can try to find an antidote. If you give me access to books on herbs and poison, I might be able to make it within a month."

"The price for each method would be different?" She narrowed her eyes.

The next second, she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
