The Irregulars Journey.

Alright, let me make this clear. This is my first novel, at the start of it I wasn't sure that is why the first 25 chapters focus a little more than necessary on Nie Li. After that, it changes. I am frankly tired of hearing the same shit. I can stop and writing new chapters and rewrite the starting chapters but I don't want to do that until I finish the novel. [Currently, Patreon has 33 more Chapters available.] https://www.patreon.com/Nonameavailable?fan_landing=true Tatsuya and Miyuki wake up in a strange world and they have a mysterious system that doesn't talk? This is their journey to a different world but wait are they the only ones? Btw I will be posting 1 or 2 chapters per day here. If I can write more chapters then I will be posting them on my Patreon. Chapter 99 - Methods, Requests and Price.

Within the Divine Feathers Sect, there were three major factions: the Dragonseal Family, the Gu Clan, and the Ashen Flames Family.

Gu Lan and Gu Bei were the direct descendent of the Gu Clan. With Gu Lan's talent, she was thought to be a candidate for the next successor of Gu Clan. But, she was suddenly paralyzed for unknown reasons. There are many factions within the Gu Clan among the younger generations. Many had supported Gu Lan. Before Gu Lan was crippled, her prestige in the Clan was high and had far surpassed the second-highest, Gu Heng.

Even now, she was supported by the First Elder.

That is what Ying Yueru had told them.

Tatsuya used decomposition to remove the ice trapping Gu Bei. He didn't apologize for Miyuki's act. But politely greeted Gu Lan, "My name is Tatsuya, she is Miyuki. It is our honor to meet you."

Gu Bei, who was just released, started shivering as he rubbed his arm in the hope to feel some warmth.

Gu Lan nodded as she gazed at them lightly, "are you here to heal my illness?"

"If you can fulfill our requests, then yes."

Gu Lan thought for a bit, "I can do that, not only that, we will also provide you with spiritual stones even if you can't cure me. As long as you tell me who told you about my situation." She wasn't talking about her illness. She was talking about how they knew that First Elder supported her.

Miyuki curled her lips into a smile, "It was Ying Yueru." She had seen Gu Yan ask this.

Gu Lan thought for a bit after hearing that name, suddenly she widened her eyes as if she thought of someone. Not only her, but the person's aura in the shadow also fluctuated.

Gu Bei was the only one confused; He asked while shivering, "W-who-o?"

Gu Lan knit her brows as she looked at Gu Bei, "don't ask. You are not ready to know."

Few knew of Ying Yueru's existence; if she wasn't once an unspoken successor of her Clan before getting crippled, even she wouldn't know of her. Even then, she didn't know the complete details of Ying Yueru, just that she was very mysterious and had a high position in the Sect. Every Clan paid attention to her. Since there were rumors that she could affect the selection of sect master.

Gu Bei widened his eyes; he realized things might be even more grave than he thought.

The tension left Gu Lan's shoulder, a small ray of hope rose in her heart. If someone mysterious like that was sending them her way, then there must be something special about them.

She sincerely looked at them, "If you can find a way to cure me, then I will fulfill your request. As long as it is in my power."

Tatsuya nodded; he hesitated for a moment, "I would have to look at you to understand your situation; it might be uncomfortable for you."

Gu Lan felt a sense of awkwardness, "Ok."

Tatsuya didn't delay; he used elemental sight to watch her. It didn't take long before he realized what the problem was.

Gu Lan, on the other hand, was blushing and squirming in her chair. She felt naked as if Tatsuya was seeing through whole her being. Just when Gu Lan couldn't take it anymore, Tatsuya removed his sight. She finally couldn't help but sigh in relief.

After sighing, she couldn't help send Miyuki a look.

Miyuki awkwardly looked away; she knew the way it felt when Tatsuya looked through elemental sight. But, she couldn't help it; it was necessary if they wanted to see the cause of Gu Lan's illness.

She also sighed with helplessness, 'Onii-sama!'

Gu Lan glared at Tatsuya severely after she saw Miyuki look away. He better finds a reason after looking at her like that.

Tatsuya was lost in deep thought; he slowly spoke what he found, "it is odorless and colorless poison. It clogged up your vein, halting your cultivation and leaving you crippled."

Gu Bei was startled; he wanted to speak, but he couldn't stop shivering.

Gu Lan had softened after hearing that, "can this poison be healed?"

Tatsuya thought for a bit; the longer he thought, the worse Gu Lan felt. She felt the hope that had, risen, dimming.

Soon, Tatsuya told her, "there are many; it depends which you chose." He was thinking about how many of his methods he should reveal. But, at the end of the day, he will only expose one. Although he might leave the hint of others but nothing too severe. Moreover, Ying Yueru said they could trust these people. For some reason, he felt a strange connection with Ying Yueru. He couldn't help but believe in her.

"I am new to Draconic Ruins Realm, so I don't know about the herbs and poison here. I can give you the composition of the poison that has affected you, and you can try to find an antidote. If you give me access to books on herbs and poison, I might be able to make it within a month."

Gu Lan was somewhat disappointed after hearing that, but she also understood. They were new to Draconic Ruins Realm; it would be impossible for them to know the herbs and poisons of this realm. Just the fact that he could give her the composition of it was already much better than before. At least, they would know the source of her troubles.

"what are other ways?"

"I can destroy the poison from your veins without hurting you, but you will have to leave yourself completely defenseless. Once the poison is destroyed, you can slowly heal." Tatsuya could use decomposition to destroy her poison. But he needed approval, or it would look like he was attacking her. With that expert in the shadow, that was the last thing he wanted.

Gu Lan widened her eyes; she wasn't expecting the next option to be so much better than the first. As for leaving herself defenseless, it wasn't that big a problem. She suddenly became curious about what the other methods were. He didn't say two; he said many.

"Is there any other?"

Tatsuya hesitated before nodding, "I can give you poison immunity; it will make you completely immune to most, if not all, poisons."

Seeing Gu Lan's stupified face, he continued, "although, I personally don't suggest this one."

Gu Lan calmed down, immunity to most poisons; she didn't think such a thing was possible. Is that why he was against it?

"Why?"

"That is a type of bestowal; I haven't done it before. I don't know all the consequences." With Bahamut's power, Tatsuya could bestow other people with power. After he took the poison that Shen Xiu gave, his poison resistance became poison immunity. He could share this poison immunity with someone, but he wasn't sure how it would affect others.

Gu Lan frowned; that statement revealed a lot of information. Tatsuya had a way to give others rare power; he had rare powers to share. One of them was immunity to poisons; the other was able to destroy the poison in her body.

She was still confused as to why Tatsuya would reveal so much information.

"There is one more way; I can completely cure the poison and all of its aftereffect. You will be back to as you were three years ago before you were poisoned in an hour. Although the way I achieve might be a bit offensive to you. You can choose any of these methods."

Gu Lan was in a dilemma of the four ways. The second was the simplest; at most, she would need a few months before recovering from aftereffects.

The third was the most tempting, immunity to all poisons.

The last one was what she wanted; in an hour, she would be able to walk on her own, cultivate again.

But,

"The price for each method would be different?" She narrowed her eyes.

"If you chose the first, then we only need access to a few facilities.

If you chose second, early admission and access to all facilities.

In case you chose the third option, in addition to the request before, we need rare books on alchemy, inscriptions, craftings, and such.

For the fourth, you can reduce the number of books you give." Miyuki explained their whole request.

Gu Lan was lost in deep thought; she didn't find the request too much. If poison immunity was like Tatsuya boasted, then it was too valuable. Many items were helpful for cultivation but were poisonous.

If she could gain poison immunity, she could use those resources to reach Martial Ancestors rank in just a few years.

Gu Lan gazed at Tatsuya and Miyuki, "Why reveal so much?"

Miyuki seemed happy that Gu Lan asked this, "we want to form a long term business relationship with you. This was out of sincerity. After all, in the future, you might see or hear about these methods."

Gu Lan looked at her in a daze, "Business partnership?" She was confused; how did the topic shift from treating illness to her partnership?

Miyuki gazed at Tatsuya; Tatsuya nodded before taking out a few black and golden swords from his interspacial ring. Gu Lan looked at the weapons curiously before taking one sword into her hand.

The next second, she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
