The Irregulars Journey.

Alright, let me make this clear. This is my first novel, at the start of it I wasn't sure that is why the first 25 chapters focus a little more than necessary on Nie Li. After that, it changes. I am frankly tired of hearing the same shit. I can stop and writing new chapters and rewrite the starting chapters but I don't want to do that until I finish the novel. [Currently, Patreon has 33 more Chapters available.] https://www.patreon.com/Nonameavailable?fan_landing=true Tatsuya and Miyuki wake up in a strange world and they have a mysterious system that doesn't talk? Chapter 97 - Ying Yueru.

Tatsuya and Miyuki were sitting in their room. It was a large room with a double bed, two lampstands at its side, with a long sofa near the door.

"There is still so much to do," Miyuki said while sitting on the sofa.

This room looked like a mismatch. It looked modern on the surface, but the door, floor, walls there was an ancient vibe coming from them.

Tatsuya had his eyes closed, "before that, we must absorb Heavenly Energy to truly reach the Heavenly Fate Rank." One of the things on their list to do was to reach Heavenly Fate Rank.

Before now, their duplicates shared their cultivation; if Tatsuya in Glory City ranked up, then the Tatsuya in other places would rank up. But, the difference was they needed Heavenly Energy to reach higher ranks.

Most likely, their duplicates will not rank up. They were already prepared for that. What they wanted to know if the others would gain a fate soul.

Right now, Tatsuya was trying to absorb the Heavenly Energy. Although he could sense and see the energy in the air, grasping it was a bit tricky. It was like trying to pick sand up with a hand.

"I know, but it seems we might have to delay for a bit," Miyuki said as if knowing something.

*Knock*Knock*Knock*

When Tatsuya opened his eyes, Miyuki had already opened the door. Xiao Yu was standing on the door with a nervous expression, "someone has come to meet you."

Miyuki nodded with a smile as if she knew who it was. Tatsuya stood up, intrigued, "Xiao Yu, can you guide our guest to this room?"

Xiao Yu hesitantly nodded before leaving. Tatsuya asked Miyuki, "Who is it?"

Miyuki smiled with a twinkle in her eyes, "It's the girl that realized your Elemental Sight."

Tatsuya creased his brows, "It's her; I thought she would wait, collect more information, and then come see us."

Miyuki thought so too. It didn't take long before she appeared in front of her eyes. She was beautiful and wore a light cyan silk dress, with a white muslin robe over her shoulders that spread out on the ground like moonlight. Through this thin muslin robe, one could see the elegant line of her neck and her flawless collarbone.

Her hair was tied with a pink ribbon and a butterfly hairpin, and she wore makeup. The skin on her cheeks was as tender and beautiful as flower petals.

Tatsuya was surprised after seeing her; she was probably the second woman he saw. Who was as beautiful as Miyuki; the first was Yu Yan.

Miyuki politely invited her inside, "Please come in."

The girl stepped inside the room gracefully, as if she had expected this.

"Thank you, Xiao Yu," Miyuki said while closing the door.

Xiao Yu, who was standing outside, had a vein appearing on her forehead.

'To think I would be treated like this in my own house.'

She let out a sigh before turning back and going to her room. She had been nervous since Tatsuya asked if he could see what the problem was. What was stopping her from stepping into Heavenly Fate Rank? If it was anyone else, then she would agree, but it was Tatsuya and Miyuki. She was already suspicious that Tatsuya and Miyuki knew she was a girl.

She wasn't sure, but she had a feeling if she let Tatsuya look, then he would know.

She wanted to ask her foster father before making that decision.

Inside, the girl was standing in front of Tatsuya, looking at him curiously, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Tatsuya, Miyuki." She said while glancing at Miyuki, who was standing before Tatsuya.

Tatsuya looked at her for a while and whispered, "Foresight." that was the only thing Tatsuya could think of, the one thing that could tell her about him and Miyuki in such a short time.

Miyuki looked surprised, hearing it, "You mean she predicted our future? and through that knows our name?"

The girl smiled, "Yes, it was something like foresight." It seemed she was delighted to meet Tatsuya and Miyuki.

"Who are you?" Miyuki asked politely.

"How rude of me. My name is Ying Yueru." Ying Yueru said while gently smiling.

Tatsuya nodded, "Please have a seat."

"What bring you here?" Tatsuya asked after they sat down. Ying Yueru wasn't surprised by sitting on the sofa or the comfort it brought. She really seemed secluded from these things.

She curled her lips and gently smiled, "I came to see you because of that sight of yours." She said while looking at Tatsuya. In fact, there was one other reason she came to see Tatsuya. It was because of the future she saw.

Tatsuya and Miyuki frowned after hearing that; Tatsuya had expected something like this. But, he had not expected that she could see the future. He wasn't sure how much did she know about his sight.

"Are you wondering how much do I know? In the future, you told me about it yourself." Ying Yueru had heard of the explanation from Tatsuya himself.

Tatsuya gazed at her, "that still doesn't answer my question." Even if he explained to her in the future. It didn't mean; he had told her everything about it.

"You are right. But, if you want to fight against fate, then you would need to understand it." She knew what they wanted, A way to hide their fate from Sage Emperor.

"And as someone who can also divine the future, you could help us."

Ying Yueru shook her head at Tatsuya's words, "I can't help you, but I can make you understand." She really couldn't help them; if it was just one of them, then she could shift their fate on her. But, she could help both of them.

Miyuki asked curiously, "help us? how?"

Ying Yueru stretched her hand forward, "I am going to see the future, you could see it? right?"

Miyuki nodded with a smile as she held Ying Yueru's hand, "To think you know that too." Miyuki glanced at Tatsuya.

Tatsuya nodded and put down the surface defenses around his mind and soul. Soon, he appeared in the dreamland.

Ying Yueru looked at Tatsuya's vacant eyes, "powers of your astral spirit always surprise me."

Miyuki pulled her hair back, "we must be really close in the future."

Ying Yueru nodded with a soft smile, "that we were."

Shortly, Miyuki and Ying Yueru appeared near the registration site.

The registration was going on.

"This is six weeks later," Ying Yueru said. She and Miyuki were standing on the site, but no one could see them.

Miyuki looked around; it seemed no one could see her. It was like watching shows on the internet, "Why here?"

Ying Yueru sighed, "I used too much of my energy to see your and Tatsuya's future. Currently, I don't have enough strength to show you anything more. I also don't have my equipment here."

Miyuki nodded understanding, "But, this is really similar too..." Miyuki muttered while looking around in a daze.

"His sight?" Ying Yueru finished her sentence.

Miyuki nodded with amazement.

Ying Yueru looked at her smiling; same time, her eyes looked at Tatsuya, "His sight is really similar to my Heaven Divination Technique. If he permanently sacrificed all the other powers that come with his sight, then he could achieve the same thing."

Miyuki shook her head, "he won't do that."

Ying Yueru agreed to that as if she knew Tatsuya, "even so, you would soon realize, your powers and his powers will grow stronger. To the point, both of you will start seeing the future of people without even trying."

Miyuki wrinkled her nose after hearing that.

"You don't want that?" Although Ying Yueru could see the future, she didn't see all possible ones, just the one most possible. Although she could guess some of Miyuki and Tatsuya's thoughts, not all of them.

For those who couldn't see the future, it was a very tempting idea. But, Miyuki seemed to reject even the notion of it.

Miyuki glanced at Ying Yueru, "if I didn't see you, then maybe, I wouldn't reject it so much. But, seeing someone who can see the future and lost all hope in life. I don't want to become like that."

Ying Yueru was startled; she shook her head, "I haven't given up. I have seen the life and death of others. I know it is inevitable. One day everyone will die; I will face mine."

Miyuki gazed into Ying Yueru's eyes while curling her lips. Her expression displayed her disbelief of Ying Yueru's words.

Ying Yueru shook her head, She knew she couldn't convince her. The scene changed.

They were inside a small courtyard. There was a girl clothed in white who sat quietly on a chair. Her clear pupils were like autumn water and were embedded in her beautiful and delicate face like gems.

She had a calm and peaceful expression as she quietly stared at a purple flower on a small artificial mound. She had light-colored lips that were as pale as water. Beneath the white clothes was her jade-bright skin. Traces of ill-colored ash showed on her face, like a flower that might wither at any time.

Miyuki gazed at the young girl, who seemed around eighteen or nineteen, and asked, "She is?"

"The knowledge you seek, the freedom to move around in some area of the institute, you can get them with her help." Ying Yueru knew what they wanted to do first. She had seen their duplicates. It was a power that made her marvel; as long as they had their duplicates in the tiny realm, the sage emperor couldn't truly kill them. Although the people they cared about and everyone related to them would die.

"Does she have enough influence to do that? but, then why would she help us?"

"She doesn't, but the elder that supports her and her brother will help you if you help her." Ying Yueru said, resuming her gentle smile.
