Chapter 53 - That Dress!!!

More than a month passed.

Yu Yan looked at Tatsuya on the bed and sighed; It has been a month since Tatsuya had been sleeping. He had been in some weird stasis since morning; there were some movements but, he wasn't waking up.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine," Tatsuya's clone spoke.

Yu Yan realized one more thing this month. Tatsuya's clone was less of a clone and more of him. They were one and the same; it was like watching them in the mirror.

Not only that, according to Tatsuya's clone, if the original body died then, it could come to life as long as they were alive. This made her curious; this was less of a clone and more of a ... she couldn't even find the right term.

In this month, Tatsuya's clone has been handling most things. The one with Elemental sight was staying outside, collecting information. The one without it was busy making weapons and armors. In this month, they had created many tailor-made equipment for the Jade Seal Family. Jade Seal Family also got a lot of demon spirits for him. Yu Yan sighed, "That is why it felt weird; it was like having you by my side while knowing that you are not by my side. The whole experience was weird."

Tatsuya stopped, "I wonder if it is the same for Miyuki." Now that he thought about it, Miyuki was with his clone; did she feel the same way.

Yu Yan smiled, "Probably, from what I have seen, although she treats your clone the same way. I never saw her touch your clone."

Tatsuya nodded, "We should go back to glory city."

"Won't you wait for your other clone?"

"We are always connected. I stopped getting information when I was watching those memories. When I absorbed this one, I got data from all the clones connected to it."

Tatsuya continued, "That one will take care of all our deals with Jade Seal Family. From the looks of it, we might not be able to build a Hundred Thousand Demonic Beast Array, only Ten Thousand Demonic Beast Array."

Yu Yan knit her eyebrows, "It won't be enough."

Before they were half building, some were just tents. Now, the whole thing was unlike before; there were many white buildings one or two stories high.

Rather than doors or cloth, there were white crystals from which they could look inside. The clothes people were wearing were also different; they looked similar, just less traditional. Even Yu Yan could tell that those clothes might be more comfortable.

The last time she saw this plateau, there were barely thousands of people. Now there were ten times more. The whole place looked busier, livelier.

When Tatsuya saw this, a system pop up appeared.

He took back his clone in glory city and moved towards the center building. It was taller than any other. When Tatsuya was walking, a girl with beautiful blonde hair came and stopped in front of him.

"Yun Ling!!"

A beautiful smile appeared on Yun Ling's face, "Tatsuya, really are you!!"

She hugged him tightly.

Tatsuya was taken aback, but he still lightly hugged back, "How have you been?"

Yun Ling kept smiling excitedly, "At first, we were moved to Glory City. It was hard in the new environment, but then Lady Miyuki brought us back here. After that who knows what happened, one day we were digging new ores then next we were building new buildings. Cooking new dishes, new school, new dojos, too many things have been going on!!"

Tatsuya smiled at Yun Ling, who was jumping in front of him excitedly. Her hopeful atmosphere even affected him.

Tatsuya held her arms, "I am glad you are happy."

Yun Ling smiled broadly, "Thanks to you, If it weren't for you, we would still be going hungry."

Tatsuya smiled, "You should thank Miyuki."

Yun Ling smiled while tucking her hair away, "Don't think I don't know that it was on your orders that we were giving this chance, Lady Huyan told everyone when she was drunk."

Tatsuya shook his head and didn't say anything, "Huyan Lanruo?"

Yun Ling nodded, "Yes, Lady Huyan stays and manages everything when Lady Miyuki and Lady Shen Xiu are not there."

Tatsuya roamed around with Yun Ling watching the changes. Everything looked familiar and unfamiliar. There was no road, but the houses looked familiar, outside shops looked familiar but, the people and their traditions were different. The whole place was a massive mismatch. Tatsuya found it very gripping.

Yun Ling left when Tatsuya reached the center building. Tatsuya directly walked inside; the guards didn't stop him as if known, who is he was. When Tatsuya walked inside, he saw a reception in the center of the hall.

A smile appeared on his face. He went to the reception and knocked on the glass.

"Lord Tatsuya!!!!" The lady hastily stood up the moment she saw his face.

Tatsuya nodded, "I want to meet Huyan Lanruo."

She cupped her hand while bowing, "Please come with me!"

Tatsuya followed behind her to the top floor.

Soon, they appeared in front of a single door. Tatsuya could see this was like a flat. Everything here felt so surreal; he knocked on the door.

"How did they built everything so fast?" Yu Yan was amazed by the progress. Barely fifty days ago, this was a small village. Now, it looked better than Glory City in some ways.

Tatsuya was also surprised by how fast Miyuki made people built everything. This was much better than what he thought for this settlement.

Tatsuya shook his head, "Only Miyuki knows."

Yu Yan curled her lips before going inside his collar.

The door opened, and a pink-haired beautiful woman appeared in front of his eyes.

Tatsuya watched her with strange eyes before putting his hand in front of his eyes.

Lanruo watched his strange reaction and tilted her head, "Lord Tatsuya?"

Tatsuya took a deep breath, "Why are you wearing this dress?"

Lanruo looked down at the black dress with white ribbon laces up the entire midsection to show her curves. The low-cut neckline is trimmed in white frills. It was soft, cool, and sexy.

She turned around in the dress, "Lady Miyuki gave me this, nice isn't it?"

Tatsuya sighed, "Miyuki!! what have you been up to?"

"Tatsuya-ge didn't like it?" A voice echoed in the room.
