Chapter 150 - The First Time We Met!

Outside West District, On the connecting bridge, at night,

Tatsuya was walking on the bridge with Ning'Er alone.

Ning'Er had her body wrapped around Tatsuya's hand as they walked.

After walking to the center, Tatsuya stopped and drew Ning'Er in front of him, "say? what is it?"

Ning'Er looked away with a slight blush, "nothing!"

Tatsuya caressed her cheeks, "Ordinarily, you are so cool and calm. Recently, you have become hyperactive, Will you tell me why?"

Ning'Er pushed away Tatsuya's hand and turned to walk away, "it's nothing."

Tatsuya stood there watching her walk away and sighed. He raised his hand, and suddenly, Ning'Er was pulled back towards him.

Tatsuya let go of the pulling strength and gently hugged her from behind, "It's not the right time to act like a child."

Hearing his words, she settled down and let her body lean on Tatsuya's, "I don't know what else to do."

"What are you talking about?"

Ning'Er looked down, her face hidden by her ginger hairs, "I thought I was special to you..."

"You even gave me something like Garuda..."

"Then why?"

Tatsuya let go of her, "It's because you are special."

Ning'Er turned around and looked up to see Tatsuya looking away from her. Her hands gripped his shirt, "please tell me why? I have done everything I could, but you would never respond to me? But, you can go around and sleep with Shen Xiu?!!!"

"It's different for Shen Xiu...she is an adult, she can make her own decision. And when we leave, it wouldn't matter to her. But, you...you are different. It would affect you in ways you can't think off."

Ning'Er gazed into his eyes, "You and Miyuki... you are not of this world? are you?"

Tatsuya gently stroked her head, "No, we are not." He knew this day would come, the day when Ning'Er saw Garuda's memory.

Ning'Er softly asked, "will you go back?"

"Probably?"

"You can't take me?"

"I don't know."

"Will you come back?"

"Probably won't."

"Even so, If I want you?"

"I'm sorry."

"I love you..."

Tatsuya wrapped his hands around her and kissed her head, "I really care about you."

Ning'Er let her body lean on him with her eyes closed.

When they returned to their courtyard, Miyuki was standing outside waiting for them.

Ning'Er walked towards the door before stopping beside her, "Thank you... Miyuki."

After Miyuki went inside the house, Miyuki gently held Tatsuya, "I am worried about that girl." She was especially harsh with Ning'Er's advances towards Tatsuya. But, it was more out of care than worries.

Tatsuya took a deep breath, "so am I."

"Will they be leaving tomorrow?"

"Yes."

"I'll sleep with her tonight; there are things we need to talk about."

"Thank you."

After closing the door to her room behind Miyuki, Tatsuya went outside and lie down on the lawn.

Recently, he had started liking the outside more. The closed rooms made him feel suffocated. Even if he increased the size of the house, it didn't seem big enough anymore.

He could only feel a single reason for something like this, Amalgamation was growing. But, it wasn't the time yet... it should take at least half a year.

He hadn't even used the book of the end. There must be something that should be affecting him. An outside source...

Tatsuya opened his eyes, "Page from Temporal Demon Spirit Book." That must be it. He had thought Amalgamation had gotten mixed with the timeline he created. But, now it seemed Alamgamation was hungry for time. It might be attracting the strength of the Temporal Book of Demon Spirit. Because the timeline that kept it full was sealed? Probably.

Tatsuya took a deep breath and closed his eyes.

A few hours later,

Tatsuya opened his eyes, feeling a weight on his chest.

"Tatsuya!"

Tatsuya raised his body slightly, "You broke through, congratulations."

Yu Yan looked at Tatsuya with emotions surging in her eyes, "thank you."

Tatsuya knit his brows, pinching onto the back of her clothes, "you are different? What changed?"

Yu Yan was a bit embarrassed getting picked up by him, "I got my memories back!" She didn't think she would be treated like this. Now that she thought about it, Tatsuya and Miyuki treated her like a child sometimes.

She tried to move to get rid of his hold, but she couldn't. If she tried harder, it would only tear her cloth apart.

Tatsuya let go of her, "say, can you restore your body size?"

Yu Yan thought about it; she had been too used to her body size.

Her body started growing larger until she was nearly the same size as Tatsuya. She was about 170cm tall, she fell on Tatsuya's body. She didn't think this would happen she wasn't used to this body.

Tatsuya looked at her small red clothes, barely covering her body, wrapped his arm around her waist. The sudden touch made him realize something. Unknowingly, he desired this, the warmth of human touching.

'I am feeling...Lonely?'

"Tatsuya..." Yu Yan gently stroked his head. At first, she wanted to struggle, but she felt something. Something that she felt now that her memories were back, she was familiar with... Loneliness.

Tatsuya closed his eyes, "what did you remember?"

"...We can talk about this later."

Tatsuya laid back down, gently laying Yu Yan to his side, "I want to talk about it now."

"I want to go back to Tiny World..." She said softly. 'I shouldn't be doing this.'

Tatsuya gazed at her Yu Yan, who had tightly closed her eyes, "why?"

Yu Yan opened her eyes with faint wrath in them, "That is the only way to defeat Ancestral Demonic Saint Land and Sage Emperor."

"A godslayer artifact? The ones that the both Holy Lands hold?" Tatsuya knit his brows. He had heard about them from Ying Yueru.

Yu Yan nodded, "Yes! the Myriad Ancestor Sword and Sacred Demon Blade!"

"Oh? Ancestral Demonic Saint Land can do something like that?" He was lost in thought, "then why didn't Sage Emperor use it to get inside the Tiny World?"

Yu Yan was startled by his question... She didn't think Tatsuya would ask this, she almost forgot that he knew about the Sage Emperor, "He can't, only Myriad Ancestor Sword could be used to break through the barrier."

"Makes sense, but what is in the Tiny World that you want? That can defeat the Sage Emperor?"

"It's a treasure above Godslayer Artifacts. It is called Temporal Demon Spirit Book."

Tatsuya was startled by her answer, he sighed, "everything always comes down to that book."

Yu Yan was shocked hearing Tatsuya's sigh. She didn't think that Tatsuya knew of the Temporal Demon Spirit Book. It was one of the rarest Artifacts, and only a few in this world knew about its existence.

"I know of the book; I have even come into contact with one of its pages."

"A page of the book? When? Where?" Yu Yan's head was brimming with questions.

"It's sealed inside Ning'Er by her grandfather to protect her from some catastrophe," Tatsuya explained to her.

"No! it's far too dangerous to carry the page around. Sage Emperor mustn't get his hand on another one!"

Tatsuya gently patted her back, "Alright, take deep breaths!"

Yu Yan calmed down and looked at Tatsuya seriously, "Tatsuya, it is dangerous to leave even the page of that book in someone's hand, so unprotected."

"Tell me everything about that book, from the beginning."

Yu Yan nodded and started explaining everything from the beginning.

After a while of listening to the whole story, Tatsuya stared at the sky, "I see, now everything is starting to make sense."

Yu Yan calmly sat beside him, staring at the sky with him, "So you understand why that page can't be left unprotected?"

"Yes, But, I have always wondered how the Sage Emperor was able to seal the time and space. An Artifact from Higher Realm, now it makes much more sense."

He had seen those in Deity Realm. Although they were strong, but not to this point. Even the Emperor Realm that Yu Yan talked about wasn't strong enough to that point. It made sense that something from a higher dimension would affect the lower one universally. He wasn't sure how a four-dimensional being and Artifact were able to exist without destroying this one. The Expert they killed must be really injured to have been defeated by the Six Emperor Realm powerhouse.

Most likely because this world wasn't destroyed because it wasn't a purely physical one.

"Getting the fragments of Myriad Ancestor Sword and breaking the barrier in easy. But I don't want to take that risk. The tiny world is a safe retreat... I will think of another way to get through."

Yu Yan shook her head, "You already know that the Sage Emperor would devour the Heavenly Dao in 200 Years. The tiny world won't be safe at all. We need to move now."

"I understand your urgency... I have tried most things to get around that barrier. It stops almost all space methods of mine. But, there is one thing that could get around that we might not need to destroy the whole barrier."

"What is it?" Yu Yan asked in astonishment.

"Are you forgetting about the time we first met?"

Yu Yan opened her mouth in surprise, now that she regained her memories, she truly understood its depth, "You mean?"
