The next morning I woke you to Carl's call. Why was he calling me this early? I picked up the call and lay back on the bed. What up? I ask.

Check the news he said and hang up before I got the chance to reply. What with the news again. After Carl's help yesterday a lot of people were beginning to see Bella as a victim who the pimp took advantage of. So what could have gone wrong again?

Sitting up properly on the bed I checked out the news. And as soon I I saw it my eyes almost fell out of their socket. What the hell. I looked at the news again, you have got to be kidding me.

She is a wisdom Wealth, how is that even possible? I thought looking at the pictures online. Is this even possible? Like she is the next CEO of the wealthy empire.

I went out of the news site and checked the company website and the news seems to be true. There is one way to confirm it, my mum. I dialed her number and while I waited for her to answer the call I thought of how best to ask the question.

Mum picked up after a few rings. Are you also calling to confirm the news about Bella Wisdom? she asked as soon as she picked?

Good morning mum, I said knowing that I have been caught. Of course, I know Carl must be the person that called to confirm the news. Morning son she said after a pause and yes the news is true. Anything else she asked.

How are you doing mum? I asked knowing my question has been answered. Come have dinner with me on Sunday and you will know how am doing she said and hang the call before I could say anything.

I see my Mum often but that's back at prime entertainment where we talk business. My relationship with her was not very close but we got along well. Unlike my father who is like a stranger to me.

I went back to the news and notice there was a video attached to it. I opened the video and saw the pimp guy.

The pimp guy was sitting on a chair and he was confess about how he focused Bella to get drunk. He said he had noticed her sitting on her own and recognize her as someone he had to see on television, so he decided to make a little money.

So putting his knife next to Bella he made her drink will he got someone to video the whole event. He planned to use it to blackmail her later to keep getting money to hide her secrets. Unfortunately, someone came and rescue her before he could get her nude pictures.

After trying to reach her on social media without her replying he sold the video to the media. And yes they knew the video was edited but they were only interested in the exclusiveness of the news.

I am sure they did not do a good background check on her. So they decide to post the half information they got from her high school classmates.

After watching the video I noticed the original video of what happened in the bar that Sunday night was also provided. I watch the video for a bit and turned it off. I felt sorry for Bella when I realized that she only became a target because she was seen on television with Carl.

News about the lawsuit against the two media houses that published the lies was also released. I took a sharp breath to collect my thoughts together.

I was still collecting my thoughts together when I heard the door Bell. After a while, a maid Come to tell me that Carl and the rest were downstairs. I nodded my head.

I went into the bathroom to have my bath before I joined them downstairs. We went to have breakfast together. I still can't believe that all this happened to Bella just because she was seen on television with Carl Emmanuel said while we were eating.

I Am quite surprise, that why it not right to jump to conclusions. If I had not gone to see her or made little effort to help I would have been unable to forgive myself Carl said.

We all should have thought of this possibility. The Wisdom family always keeps a low profile for their kids. So they could have a normal life as children. I just listened to the conversation around the table. I felt relief that the news was false but this new revelation broke down my last wall. The confirmation that she had no reason to pretend or be like Ammy made my whole heart open to her. But then she belongs to Carl now.

Carl, I am sure you feel relief that the guy in the picture I mean the one that was called her boyfriend is just a friend, right? Emmanuel asked after a long pause.

I have never felt threatened by him. I fear she likes someone else. Someone that will be a real challenge to me Carl said looking at me. I was wondering why he was looking at me especially the look in his eyes I did not quite understand.

Don't worry Carl I am sure she will not be able to resist your charms Wilfred said and I simply nod in agreement feeling hurt.

Maybe you should take her out for dinner to release all the tension Wilfred suggested. No, I want her to concentrate on her prose writing Carl answered.

Oh, that I wonder how it was going I thought to myself. I would really love to help in any way I can but it best I avoid her.
