Jim, Manager Wang, and Bodyguard Jake arrived a little after Amy at Mackinac Island's Majestic Hotel. Mackinac Island has been a tourist attraction for people who want to get away from the busy life in the city.

Despite only having less than a thousand residents, the island has been hosting tourists since the 1850s; it's been regarded as one of the best islands on the country's north side.

"Hi," Amy beamed at the trio, who had just landed. "How was the travel"?

"It was great. Amy, this place is stunning. I can't believe such an island exists" Jim grabbed her by the waist and gave her a hug forgetting Manager Wang and Jake were with him.

"Hello, Welcome to the Majestic hotel," a beautiful lady greeted them. "My name is Penelope. I'm your hostess for today. Your luggage will arrive shortly. Meanwhile, let me give you a tour and lead you to your cottage" She guided them along the beautiful entry of the hotel.

The grand, wrap-around porch was filled with vibrant flowers, chairs, and flags. It can be seen from the inside because of the hotel's luxurious floor-to-ceiling windows.

"The hotel offers breakfast at the breakfast buffet every day from 6am to 9am, and the bar opens from 8pm to 2am. We also have golf carts that can take you to the golf area. We also have yachts you can rent by; located by the deck in case you want to enjoy a day in a boat."

"This will be your cottage, it has 4 bedroom and 3 full baths. 2 rooms are on the first floor, and the other two will be on the second floor. Right this way is your living room, dining room area."

Penelope paused to let the guests grasp the beauty of the cottage. The grand living/dining area leads to a balcony overlooking the lake. The terrace has a table, chairs, and a hot tub for them to use.

"This is your butler, Jose. He will be taking care of you guys from now on. If there's something that you wish to know or need, do not hesitate to ask."

"Hello, my name is Jose, your butler" Jose smiled warmly "your personal chef is preparing your dinner. Dinner should be ready in 45 minutes. I would prepare your dinner on the balcony, if that's okay, so you can enjoy the sunset and cool breeze."

"Thanks, Jose, that would be lovely. Also, please, we would like to see our rooms now," Amy asked Jose.

Jose led the guests around the rooms. Jake chose the room closest to the entry for security purposes, and Manager Wang chose the other. When they were on the second floor, Jose continued to explain.

"This is our main suite or rooms if you call it. It has a living room with fireplace, a nook for tea or what not." Jose then led them to the room on his left.

"This is the room we prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Fitzgerald. It has a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, and a full bath that can also be accessible by the other room."

Four of them went silent at the mention of the couple. They all hesitated to tell Jose the truth, not wanting to break his heart and make all his efforts to waste. Jose prepared the room so well; flowers on their bed and lit scented candles are meticulously placed. Even their luggage items are placed in the closet.

Amy was about to open her mouth to tell Jose about the miscommunication when Jim thanked Jose for his generosity. Jose left pleased to himself.

"Do you want to change rooms?" Manager Wang asked. "Jake and I can stay here, and you two can get the separate room downstairs if you want it."

Jake reading the atmosphere, coughed and said, "as the security, I would rather stay downstairs; it will help me monitor activities more efficiently and effectively."

"Thanks, Manager Wang, but Amy and I can stay here. Just like what Jose said, there's another room right there ready to use when needed" Jim laughed at the situation.

When Manger Wang and Jake walked downstairs, Amy looked at Jim and said, "which room are you taking?"

"Didn't you hear me? The other room is only to be used when needed" Jim glanced at Amy, whose face turned red. "It's not as if we haven't slept in one bed" He continued enjoying the sight of Amy melting off the floor.

"W-what?"

"You passed out in my bed, remember?" He then pulled Amy closer to him and whispered, "I wanted to do this to you that night" he proceeded and kissed Amy's neck, "but you were drunk."

Jim kissed the other side of Amy's neck, making her let out a small moan, "now you're not. That means I can do this now" he passionately kissed Amy's lips. Amy melted as he devoured her.

Amy stopped as she saw Jose bowing his head down, standing by the door. "I was about to inform you that dinner is ready. I didn't mean to interrupt but the door … was open" Jose couldn't utter more words.

"It's okay, Jose. We will be there in a minute."

Jose apologized one more time and headed downstairs.

Jim and Amy looked at each other and started laughing. "I'll make sure to close the door next time," Jim teased Amy, and then both headed down to enjoy their dinner by the balcony, enjoying the breathtaking sunset view.
