Chapter 37: Preparations

"I'm back"

Lucias greeted as soon as he returned back at the mansion with his usual smile to try and hide the various emotions that he felt deep inside him.

"Welcome back, dear"

The 'creator' who was patiently waiting for him to return greeted with a warm and beautiful smile while sitting down on the soft bed of his room together with Yasaka and Great Red who woke up from the absence of his warmth.

"Where did you go?"

Great Red asked as she hurriedly hugged his body with a longing expression on her face.

"I just talked to someone for a bit... does it feel uncomfortable?"

Lucias asked in concern, knowing the extreme discomfort brought by her heat due to his experience in taking care of the other girls during their periods.

"A bit, but it's not that bad anymore"

Great Red answered while sniffing his scent with a slight blush on her cheeks.

"Where's Ophis?"

Lucias asked as he expected for her to barge into his bedroom to find comfort and warmth, just like Great Red.

"She's trying to calm herself down in the dimensional gap"

Great Red answered without letting go of her hug around his body while Lucias caressed her hair to try and calm her down.

"... Lucias, about that woman"

The 'creator' suddenly brought up as she comfortably sat down on the bed.

"So you already knew, huh?"

"There's nothing in existence that I don't know, Lucias for I have created everything... well that is except for you"

The 'creator' stated without a change in her expression causing Great Red to look at her with a complicated expression on her face.

"If the 'creator' heard your words, I don't think that any of us will be able to live to see tomorrow"

Great Red warned in a serious tone as she gazed at her with her dragon eyes.

'... I forgot to explain her real identity to them... well... it's not like they'll believe me since it sounds stupid if I explained to them that I impregnated and is engaged to the 'creator''

Lucias thought with an awkward smile on his face causing the creator to grin from hearing his thoughts.

"Thank you for your worries but, she is will not mind such petty insults from beings like us"

"Oh, I guess you're right"

Great Red nodded her head in agreement without letting go of his body while Lucias and Yasaka wryly smiled at her direction.

"Now then... Back to the topic from before, I already know what you two talked about Lucias"

The 'creator' said as she suddenly switched the topic back to their previous conversation, causing Lucias to helplessly smile at the 3 girls inside the room.

"Ask anything that you wish, even though my capabilities are currently limited due to the absence... of my other half. I can still help you a bit with my current abilities, and there's still Hanna who can erase all of them from existence... Well that is if she can properly control her powers"

The 'creator' said causing Lucias scratch his head in embarrassment for being weaker than his own 5 year old daughter.

"... What is she talking about, Lucias?"

Great Red asked in confusion as she looked up to him from his embrace.

"... Well... how should I explain this..."

"Let me, since implanting the memories in her brain will be more efficient that explaining to her everything that happened"

The 'creator' said as she placed her hand on top of Great Red's head, causing her to stare at her in confusion but froze in her place from the sudden surge of pain and memories being forcefully implanted in her brain.

"Just sleep for a few hours, Red. I'm sure that you'll have a lot of questions once you wake up"

Lucias whispered as he casted a strong spell on her to elavate the pain that she felt from the memory transplant performed by the 'creator'.

"Lucias..."

"Shh, [go to sleep]"

Lucias said using his skill [reality manipulation] while caressing her blood red hair with a gentle smile on his face.

"..."

Great Red who felt the comfort brought by his hand slowly fell asleep despite trying her best to resist his words but failed as she silently slept by his side.

"... I want to ask you something, Clara"

Lucias immediately switched back to the topic from before as he gazed the 'creator' with a serious expression on her face, finding it weird rgat she herself hasn't noticed the interference of ???.

"Ask away, Lucias"

The 'creator' responded with a confident smile on her face while Yasaka listened attentively to their conversation.

"... You... haven't noticed any changes in your ability?"

"What do you mean?"

The 'creator' asked in confusion as she slightly tilted her head to the side.

"... You really haven't noticed it?"

Lucias asked causing the 'creator' to narrow her eyes as she tried to search for any abnormalities in her realm.

"... This is..."

The 'creator' muttered in shock before gazing at Lucias with disbelief written in her face.

"I predicted that they will move but... I didn't expect that they will interfere this early"

The 'creator' muttered to herself as she tried to gain control of her gift but to no avail, causing her to stare at him with worry, as she knew how serious and difficult the quest was without her interference.

"... Just stay here for the time being along with Hanna, or you can just go back to your realm where it is safe. I'll handle everything by myself so trust your husband for a bit, Clara"

Lucias said, trying to comfort her while patting her head, causing her to stare at him directly at his eyes with a serious expression on her face.

"... My ability isn't weakened to that extent... it's just that, I can't help you in this quests of yours for the time being... but to think that you attracted their attention..."

The 'creator' retorted as she tried to contact the rest of the primordial beings in their respective realm to formulate a plan om how to deal with the current predicament.

"Who are 'they' exactly, Clara?"

Lucias asked as he stood tall in front of them with a serious expression on his face, trying to get as much information as he can about his enemies.

"They are not your enemy, Lucias nor are they our ally. They just move to satisfy their curiosity and endless inquries so they mean no harm towards you, in fact, they will most likely side with you on this battle since they do not want to shift the balance of the universe just because of one True God's selfish desires"

The 'creator' assured as she gazed at him like already she knew what was on his mind.

"... Alright. I already suspected that they aren't our enemy because they gave me the authority to control a percentage of the realm of destruction to help me in this war"

Lucias revealed causing her to stare at him in shock from his sudden revelation.

"You can now control the realm of Destruction?"

The 'creator' asked with a tinge of excitement in her words, causing Lucias to look at her weirdly from the sudden shift in her mood.

"Yes but only just a bit, why?"

"Really!? That's great!!"

The 'creator' said in pure joy and excitement as she grabbed her hands with a sweet smile on her face, confusing him from her reaction.

"What-"

"I know that you're confused Lucias but... I can't reveal it just yet. You'll find out soon enough, Lucias"

The 'creator' cut him off to prevent him from asking more questions pertaining the topic.

"Lucias, you should first prepare yourself and your faction for any incident or event that may occur in the near future... I can't help you directly but there must be some other way for me to aid you"

The 'creator' advised as she shifted the topic, gazing at him with her ethereal jet black eyes.

"I'll contact Sephie right away, Clara can you... take care of Yami and Artoria for the time being? They'll definitely force themselves to join in the war... I don't want them to force themselves"

Lucias requested in a gentle voice while remembering his pregnant fiancées, comfortably sleeping in their bedroom without any knowledge of the upcoming war.

"Sure, I'll stay in this realm until they give birth along with Hanna"

The 'creator' nodded her head in response as Lucias gazed at the Nine-tailed fox by the side, listening to their conversation with a confused expression on her face.

"Yasaka"

"No need to tell me, but I can't just leave my faction alone so... sorry, Lucias but Kunou can stay at your headquarters to keep her safe"

"Yasaka, I'll talk with your elders-"

"Lucias, trust me. I'm strong enough to protect myself, didn't you gave me millions of skill points in the past to improve my strength? I can take care of myself"

Yasaka shook her head to the side as she rejected his proposal but felt warm and joy from witnessing her care and concern towards her.

"... She knows how important you girls are to me... and she'll definitely use that to her advantage. I'll send a few werebeast and dragon slayers to protect you in Kyoto"

Lucias sighed in defeat, he instead presented another condition to keep her safe while she runs her faction in Kyoto.

"You're too overprotective Lucias"

Yasaka said as she pouted her cheeks, causing Lucias to smile from her childish behaviour before giving her a light peck on her lips.

"You know how powerful my enemies are, I just don't want anything to happen to you"

Lucias said in a helpless tone while poking her cheeks with his finger.

"Hmm... I'll forgive you if you give me another child~"

Yasaka teased causing Lucias to smile mischievously from her words.

"Don't worry, we'll have as many children as you want once this is done"

Lucias whispered close to her ears causing her to yelp in both surprise and embarrassment for being teased by him.

"I will have to leave in abstinence for a few months or even years until I completed this quest. I don't want my fiancée to bear my child in a dangerous environment"

"Can't you just regain the rune of Lust from Hyoudo Issei? It can grant you the ability to control your fertility as you wish"

The 'creator' asked while remembering the rune of lust under the possession of Issei.

"... I have no idea on how to control its side effects to my body. I don't want to be a sex craved maniac again, I already learned my lesson"

Lucias rejected as he shivered in fear from remembering how hard it was to control his lust from breaking out of his mind.

"Is that so... I kind of liked how aggressive you were when you were under the control of your lust, Lucias"

"Then how about the other runes specified by your quest? I can give you the coordinates of each to significantly improve your strength and.. only the Rune of Chastity will give you the same ability as the Rune of Lust"

The 'creator' said causing Lucias to twitch his eyes from her persistence.

"Procreating with you as woman is much addicting and pleasureable as you think, Lucias. I doubt that the other girls will allow it when you finally opened up to the topic of procreating with them"

"Sometimes... I feel a slight regret for having too many fiancées"

"Important things aside, you should contact Sephie Michaela Deviluke to prepare the members of your faction for war as soon as possible"

The 'creator' suggested as she quickly switched the topic back to their main problem, the war upcoming war between the Forsaken Faction and Xoasis.

"I'll contact Sephie as soon as I can, since I still have to attend class"

"... So you're planning to establish the alliance first before leaving school"

"Yes, Lucifer and Azazel are currently running the headquarters so they know what to do once they are informed about this"
