CH: 5 - NO MERCY: PT. 2

ATLANTICA BY DAVID LAVY STARTS TO PLAY

Roman Torchwick: "WHAT THE HELL?" - a cold shiver ran down his back. "H-HOW DID HE SURVIVED THAT!?"

NARRATOR: For Doom Slayer, this little nothingless didn't even make him flinch, all it did was vaporize all the flesh and blood from his armor, which he has been wearing for a long time. His arm was a little burnt, but that's all right, he had already experienced worse in hell. It just only brought his immeasurable anger to an even greater level. Every Grimm, Animal, human and faunus in the area felt the great desire to kill that came from a huge cloud of smoke forcing everyone to ESCAPE. But unfortunately, I don't think that's an option if it's Slayer. He could only think of one thing:

𝐑𝐈𝐏 & 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐋 𝐈𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐄!

Suddenly, he ran out of smoke so fast that he could easily tell where it came from from the line of smoke drawn after him and, without hesitation, he ran towards the mechs. Quickly Roman pulled out his scroll again, which he had recently put bakc to his packet, and informed the plight of the poor bastards.

Roman Torchwick: "You bunch of idiots... How did you managed to whip this?! HE IS STILL ALIVE... KILL THIS MO-MONSTER RIGHT NOW!" - he said those things a little nervous and scared. Then he whistled once and he began to clap his hands to draw attention to himself and to indicate that they were in a hurry.

Roman Torchwick: "As you can hear, we're in deep shit. Hurry up and load up the nearby weapons and dust in the containers. For now, we begin Phase 2 of the plan... C'mon, C'mon, C'mon!" - he shouted. "Maybe Cinder won't like it that we're suddenly starting out, but there's nothing we can do about it." - he murmured in a low voice. "Neo, get on the train and make sure we can leave as soon as they loaded all the stuffs into the train. I'll stay here to supervise the loading." - Neo hopped quickly on the back of the last wagon and gave Roman a look of concern.

Roman Torchwick: "Don't worry, Neo. I won't get myself in trouble. Now go!" - Neo nodded and left.

NARRATOR: It was a huge mess, everyone running back and forth, trying the load all the nearby dust and weapons as soon as posible, not caring who or what they were trampling. They seem to be very frightened by The Doom Slayer in turn, he didn't even show them his power.

Roman Torchwick: "Quickly put two bombs here at the entrance to the tunnel, we will blow it up when we leave. I won't let him come after us so easily." - the two Faunus whom Roman shouted, Of course, did not resist, and immediately began to install the bomb on both sides of the entrance.

NARRATOR: As Roman assigned the tasks to the others, The Doom Slayer also began its massacre. Slayer the rushed to a mech quickly and due to the careless driver the doom slayer could hit the mech's leg so much that it was immediately torn off with a huge bang. Mech is down and Doom Slayer jumped on him and punching his fists at the thick armor of mechs that can't take really well Slayer's punches. But the guy who was in the mech didn't let it go either. He tried to use his left arm to grab Slayer and slam him to the ground, and then use his right arm to crush him into the ground. Well, let me not tell you how badly his plan went wrong. Before the mechs mechanical hand touched Slayer, he grabbed it right away with his hand, and with the other one, he smashed it with an upper-cut and tore off the mechs left hand. He quickly tried to knock off Slayer from him with his right arm, so he could at least stand in position like the others to take out this Beast. But this plan also failed, Slayer responded with a blow that nearly destroyed the robot's right arm. His fist was spotted on the mech's fist and completely pushed the mechs forearm up to his overarm.

The others tried to help the poor bastard that Doom Slayer kept on the ground. They quickly activated their miniguns attached to their mechanical arms, which can wreak quite a bit of havoc, mainly because they were filled with dust. They didn't want to use their Huge Canons because they didn't want to destroy their own partner. So they started shooting at Slayer with their Minigun that ammo was dust-loaded, not caring that their finite supply would soon run out. Slayer tried to tear down mech's very thick armor on it's chest with his hands, so that it would catch most of the incoming bullets. Not for that reason, because those bullets would be so lethal to Slayer, but think about it. how long would it take him to polish his armor, which would hit him with at least 10,000 bullets? Especially since he don't have tools to do it. "Professionals have Standards." as a wise man said. He held unshakily, with his two hands the huge piece of torn armor, while hundreds of bullets flew at him every second. Suddenly, he turned his head back to see, if this guy was still alive in the nearly crushed and ruined mech.

To his great surprise he noticed that when he tore off a very large part of his armor, the driver was able to detach his lower body by slowly shacking it of. The sound of the bullets colliding with the armor that slayer holld before him, did not hear or pay much attention to what the other guy is doing in his back. With his left elbow, he supported his body and tried to take a decisive blow to the rest of his energy, pushing slayer towards him with his giant laser cannon on his left shoulder. That time when Slayer looked at him, the Lazer canon was almost fully charged and ready to attack. The metal that made the cannon started to glow, it looked like it was melting. Slayer quickly threw the piece of armor at one of the mechs, with great force, which had just managed to fly towards it, and was able to cut off half his left arm in a diagonal way, to which he stopped shooting, and he backed off a little bit. Slayer quickly jumped off the remainings of the mech and headed straight for the crushed and ripped upper torso, who was ready to fire. He quickly dashed to the shoulder of the half mech so fast that the driver barely noticed that Slayer had already grabbed the melting lazer cannon and tried to aim the other mechs, supporting it with his shoulder. Not long after that, he fired the giant blue laser beam on Slayer's shoulder, molten iron fragments on it, and a massive force and sound that he was able to stand still without flinching. Slayer successfully hit one of the mechs but the Beam not only vaporized buildings or he only left a huge hole in it. The unlucky one whose mech got hit, only the it's feet remained.

Roman's mouth was wide open, seeing Doom Slayer's "true" power, durability and also his speed. He knew that if they could not escape now immediately, then their lives would be over. But greed and desire for power overcame his fear, and tried to hurry others even more. Slayer then struck the mech interior and dragged the driver inside and he threw him on the ground and jumped down to him, he died instantly by crushing his chest. His blood and internal organs were splattered all over the ground and also got Slayer boots dirty by this. After that he headed for the other mechs who immediately fired a Slayer with both their miniguns and their missile luchers. He easly dogded with the help of his dash ability. But he also did not forget that they were trying to escape, so he thought that he would end this job sooner and destroy some of the wagons and destroy the tunnel with sticky bombs. As soon as he switched to sticky bomb mod he jumped up, and started to shoot some sticky bomb to the packing faunas, but a strange and huge robot with a holographic shield stopped these bombs.

The robot's head looked like a skull of a human with two mechanical horns sticking out of it. The robot eyes glowed yellow and it tried to take a closer look of Slayer as if it had scanned him. The upper body of the robot had a thick grey durable armor with yellow stipped in it's chest, and also it's sparkled yellow like the robot was recently lunched. Closer to its waist, it's getting thinner and circular which joined to a chain-footed sled, that is able to turn around in 360 degrees. At first sight, this Tank like robot is not capable of achieving a great speed, but it's also just a disguise out of many, because the hidden wheels and thrusters in it can achieve incredibly high speeds, while moving such a heavy body, instead, the chain-footed sled only provides protection and also support for the wheels and the thrusters also the sled had two missle luchers, which contains a lot of missles. It had four mechanical arms, two were long and these were covered in very heavy and thick armour, while the other two were short and poorly armored. On his upper right arm was a chainsaw, and it's blades were glowing yellowish, and its upper left arm held in his hand a huge, minigun-like weapon capable of firing not only bullets, but detonating rockets.

The two smaller arms held two holographic shield generators that could cover a very large area and at the same time it be able to shoot the shield far away, or just keep the shield in front of him. In addition to the shield generators, there were flamethrowers attached to the robot's arms. On the shoulders of the upper arms, there were two laser cannons on its shoulders, that were similar to those, on the other mechs just it was smaller, and on his back was a giant accumlator that powered the robot, which had an armour around it that is tougher and more durable than the others on it. At the neck, there was an entrance to the robot's interior, so it could be used in semi-automatic mode, and the robot had an unknown mark on his forehead, which was Atlas's crest... also in his chest there was a symbol... which was unknown to these creatures, but maybe quite familiar to Doom Slayer but espacially for Dr. Samuel Hayden... THE SYMBOL OF THE MYKERS.

All of a sudden, Roman, with great relief, wiped the sweat from his forehead, began introducing this Robot.

Roman Torchwick: "It looks like someone was so kind and finally brought this interesting toy here... The Atlesian Beast 0.4. This monster was designed to be fast and effective on the battlefields. These are only rudimentary models, but they have already surpassed those mechs in your back, it is also a strictly encrypted project... we were just lucky enough to know the existence of this machine. We had to pay with the death of many of my people, in exchange for this admirable and powerful robot. But it was totally worth it to us. 'cause now he's gonna crush you into the ground..." - for this the robot's eyes began to glow even more yellow, and began to spin up his minigun. "Enjoy our dear atlesian friends finest work..." - then he turned around.

ROMAN TORCHWICK'S POV:

Roman Torchwick: "If this robot can't execute him, then there's nothing in the world..." - I took out my scroll and I wrote to Neo that she could start the train. We packed everything up. "Anyway... If you beat this Robot, don't worry. We'll be in Vale by then..." - so I got in the wagon, and soon after that, we headed to Vale.

DOOM SLAYER'S POV:

Doom Slayer: "This situation was very familiar to me... so I have to fight with this robot to get trough huh?... It's all right..." - I cracked my fists. "I'll deal with you quickly... and these motherfuckers are gonna be sorry they got away from me. BECOUSE I'M GOING TO LET THEM SUFFER EVEN MORE THAN I PLANNED." - that's what I thought to myself while trying to get a better look at what kind of killing machine is this?

Dr. Samuel Hayden: "This machine is very similar to the Doom Hunter you recently encountered by Deag Ranak and his cultists. "

Doom Slayer: "I figured that out, Sherlock..."

Dr. Samuel Hayden: "After a quick scan, I can tell you more. So please, wai-" - I began to run towards to the robot. I've had enough of his nonsense. The sooner I rip apart this piece of junk, the faster I can go after them, and I don't know where the other two mech went though. Samuel sighed after this

Dr. Samuel Hayden: "You don't understand what I mean... whatever this machinery may be, it was not built alone for sure... don't you think you've met this force field technology before? or just look at the symbol on his chest... isn't it a bit familiar?"

Atlesian Beast 0.4: "ENEMY IDENTIFIED... PROTOCOL 5 CAME INTO EFFECT!... ENEMY NEUTRALIZATION IN PROGRESS!" - suddenly a very deep robotic voice came out of the robot. it was numb, in his mechanical eyes... you could even see... it ready to kill. So I stopped and thought I'd listen to the words of this piece of metal. It can't hurt much, but if he drags it out much, I won't care how much he whines, I'll destroy this robot without his "good advice".

Dr. Samuel Hayden: "You don't seem to remember after all, do you?" - he sighted in his annoyance. "Fine... Do you remember that time when we were in Urdak, and saw those the giant floating buildings?" - I nodded for that. "Well, that force field or a shield or whatever you want to call it, it's just a downgraded version of it." - I suddenly raised my eyebrows like "What the actual fuck is going on?"

Doom Slayer: "You don't mean th-" - suddenly samuel interrupted my words.

Dr. Samuel Hayden: "Yes... The Mykers were already here... and made a contract with these people for their technology..." - for that I pulled out my Crucible. "There's one thing I don't understand." - this huge Doom Hunter knockoff started to firing at meof.I tried to avoid the bullets that were coming at me at the speed of the wind, but this fucking robot can pick up the beat with me, and I still got hit by a couple of.

"If they knew about this place... Why I'm not?..." - I tried to approach this shitty robot, but it was much faster than expected, and it started to back off it fired some rockets into my face which i successfully dodged.

Doom Slayer: "If you don't have anything else to say, I'd appreciate it if you shut your mouth." - after that, I quickly switched to The Combat Shotgun and used the sticky bombs to try to collapse the buildings around us so that this son of a bitch couldn't escape any longer. Lucky some derbris falled right on it, despite how quickly he tried to avoid it. After that, I rushed right into it, and tried to release the rest of the ammo into it with Full Auto mod. The robot noticed what I was up to, so he started firing at me with his minigun. Also with his missle luncher.

In response, I fired a few grenades from my Grenade launcher, which for some reason he didn't notice, and they exploded in his face. Lucly I was able to avoid it but it was damn close... those missles were so fast. The grenades stirred up the smoke so I wasn't really able to notice what he was planning. Suddenly two lazer beam headed towards me. One of it hit my Grenade Luncher and destroyed it... For FUCK'S SAKE.

The other one hit my arm. Right in the not covered part... As if this robot already knew some of my weakpoints. This motherfucker is quickly adaptable. After that, I ran towards him again with the crucible in my hand. This shitty robot got nowhere to run. It's gonna have to attack with something, if he doesn't want to be sliced in half. He tried to fire rockets at me again, but I just avoided them with ease. it's like I'm seeing a pattern as he's attacking and defending himself... I thought so, before two rockets suddenly detonated next to me as I dodged them.

The explosion was a little unexpectedly received so I lost my balance and fell to the ground. The huge asshole immediately came right at me with his chainsaw on. That was his fatal flaw, he thought I was defenseless now, didn't he?

As soon as he got near me, he waved his chainsaw towards me, which I took at the blades of his chainsaw, stopping the chain, and I began to pull towards myself. You could even hear the metal creaking as it stretched out as I pulled. He tried to get rid off me, by shooting me with his minigun right at my helmet... But I didn't cared at all. Suddenly then I torn off his arm.

After that, he tried to back off, I quickly grabbed an Iron bar in his sled. I took out my Crucible with my other hand again. I hopped on the sled and I cut down the other arm of this mechanical trash. He tried to burn me with his two smaller arms with his flamethrowers attached to it, but with a few kicks I repaired it. The defenseless robot couldn't do anything now. He still tried to back off, but it was useless. After this, I took his mechanical head off with my hand with great ease.

After that, I saw it as some kind of entrance back from the neck, so I thought I'd pry it open. And I saw a faunus in the meantime, he pushed some buttons all over the robot's insides, it looks like he was controlling it. I thought I'd ask him a few questions to him if he's already inside. I grabbed his back and dragged out from the robot.

Doom Slayer: "W H E R E I S T H A T T R A I N I S G O I N G?" - I said these words a little nervously and angrily and in the meantime I held the doomblad to his neck.

???: "Why should I tell you that, asshole?" - then I pressed him more and held the doombladet closer to his neck, just enough that the edge of it had penetrated his skin.

Doom Slayer: "Perhaps that's why!" - then the stranger smiled.

???: "You FOOOOL! They've been already arrived to Vale for a long time, while you've been screwing around with me. The city is already doomed. With all these Mechs and Grimms, there's no way huntsmen and huntresses stand a chance against them... I won't let you go after them... you'll coming with me to the otherworld."

Atlesian Beast 0.4: "SELF DESTRUCTION IN 3... 2... 1..." - this son of a bitch still smiled. I guess I shouldn't think these guys are stupid as the demo-

BOOOOOOOOOOM!

TIMESKIP

NARRATOR: The siege of Vale began a short time ago, some of the buildings were already in ruins, the Grimms were thirsty for the blood and soul of the people, and ran after them while the mechs protected and also supported the Grimms with their holographic Shields and their arsenal. Some of the huntsmen and huntresses there tried to contain the attack, but it was a bit much for them. Slowly their hopes for victory faded... Roman just smiled in the back. Their plan seemed to succeed.

Suddenly, in the sky, a Nevermore appeared, surprised by everyone, preparing to land, more precisely for impact. The Nevermore was crying and screaming in the hope that someone would save him. When they hit the ground, they plowed the asphalt, and hit a house with their momentum. A huge cloud of dust came up again... and a menacing music started to play...
