The first type of people he decided to target were the merchants.

He then started to collect information about the merchants who had bad reputations so that he wouldn't feel guilty about killing them.

He then found one merchant who was actually bullying an orphanage, so he decided to target him first.

The merchant name is Tabatchoy. He was a fat and greedy merchant. Many actually hated him, but they did not dare touch him because he had a connection to the Gethiod family.

Shadow was not the least afraid of his background and proceeded with his plan to kill him before taking over his business.

He then started sneaking into the villa and saw the fat man sleeping with four beautiful young girls.

He then came near the bed before grabbing the fat pig's ankle and dragging him.

The fat man started to scream, but he was dumbfounded to see that none of the four girls he slept with managed to wake up.

Seeing this, the fat man got even more panicked and started to shout for help, but it seems like everyone became deaf and did not even hear his shout.

Shadow, getting irritated by his shout, snarled, "Don't bother; no one can hear you because I erased any form of sound that was near me."

The fat man shivered, realising that the person dragging him was an actual expert, so he decided to beg and threaten Shadow.

After a couple of minutes, Shadow finally managed to destroy his souls and add a soul stone that he got from the Spirit World.

The function of the spirit stone was to store a spirit slave.

To bind the spirit slave, he just needs a drop of blood and an amount of spirit energy.

After binding the spirit slave, Shadow looked at it and found that the spirit slave looked like a mass of gas.

When the spirit slave came out, it first bowed to Shadow before starting to devour spirit energy and the destroyed soul of Tabatchoy.

After a couple of minutes, the spirit slave stops absorbing the spirit energy.

Then his form started to change and he morphed into a soul that looked exactly like the fat merchant.

It then entered the fat man's body, and after a couple of minutes, the dead body of the fat man started quivering before standing up.

It then started moving erratically, and after an hour, it started to calm down and bow to Shadow before speaking in a respectful manner, "I greet master."

Shadow nodded and was very satisfied with it. He started to tell him what to do and the plan he had made.

After telling it what to do for the next few years in Cringe City

Shadow then left and started to gather information about any world portal that was found by the Cringe City.

So he decided to return to the Gorgian family and have Rey collect information about the world portals and places where a huge number of demonic beasts reside.

He was searching for demonic beasts because he wanted to teleport some of them to the Beast Paradise World, making it flourish.

The speed at which a world advances is tied to the number and quality of its inhabitants.

The reason why is that each habitant would absorb energy from the world and also from the spirit energy from the surroundings outside of the world.

There is a benefit, but there is also a risk. If the world contains too many inhabitants for it to sustain itself, it might collapse, but Shadow was not afraid of it because the amount of spirit energy in Eligan Kingdom is not small, and with the Spirit Gathering Array, his kingdom would only increase in density of spirit energy.

After leaving the task to Rey, he also had him collect information about the great nobles in Cringe City, especially the Gethiod family. He had promised to kill the Gethiod family head and his son for the Gorgian family, so he definitely had to do it to secure their loyalty and scare them.

He went to the Gethiod Family because he found out that the Gethiod Family was actually having a feud with one of the great nobles in Cringe City, the Slyvian Family.

They were fighting over ownership of a gold mine. The mine was very huge and full of gold ores, so the two great noble families were now competing over it.

Actually, he heard from Rey that if the Cringe Kingdom was not in turmoil, the two families definitely agreed to joint ownership of the mine, but because obtaining the mine would have massive benefits to the winning party and might give them the chance to rule the Cringe City if they obtained such riches, neither party back off.

Shadow also heard the remaining powers were also eyeing the gold mine, creating a fiasco.

Knowing this shadow let out an excited yet evil laugh, this is the perfect opportunity to cause chaos.

He decided to kill the head of the Gethiod family and castrate the son before leaving. He wants to show that it was blatant assassination to cause the Gethiod family to go to war with the Slyvion family.
