CHAPTER 2 FIGHT

The delinquents suddenly muted, after a minute of silence, the leader of the group suddenly said "A duel!"

"Yes, a duel."

"Yeah, fight with boss Lou!"

"Yeah, Prove to us that you are strong enough

to lead this village!"

Shadow looks toward Lou Yan, The latter smiles and shakes his head.

"You all don't have to be agitated, I am no match for big bro."

The other seemed surprised, it took a second, they seemed to understand and gave a knowing smile.

"Boss Lou, you don't have to be humble we all know your strength!"

"Yes!"

"Yeah!"

"Hahaha! Boss Lou is really humble."

The gang laughed while praising Lou Yan,

The person, on the other hand, frowned and sneered in displeasure.

"All of you shut up!! You all don't know how powerful aniki is! He killed Level 8 Flaming Tiger all by himself and more than that he saved my life when I was chased by a Level 9 Voracious Wolf! So all of you just SHUT THE HELL UP!!"

After Lou Yan shouted that, all of the villagers were shocked, they never thought Shadow could kill a level 8 beast all by himself, it was even a Flaming Tiger, one of the top predators of Normal level beast.

"Boss Lou, did this really happen?" one of the gang suspiciously asked

Lou Yan nodded and said "Aniki and I always been hunting together"

"Hey! What do you mean by both of you what about me?" it was Shadow's bestfriend Ban.

"You're just deadweight" Lou Yan answered, without even looking.

"D*mn! You want a piece off me!" Ban suddenly shouted.

"Yeah, you fat pig!" The 2 seems ready to fight, when Shadow's Grandfather suddenly shouted.

"Enough! Now that Lou Yan won't fight, Is there anymore opinion? If not then the meeting will be adjourned."

The villagers nodded, after all, they heard how powerful Shadow was, considering his age.

Shadow's grandfather looks at the villagers for 30 seconds, seeing that no one raising their hand, he waves his hand and the meeting was adjourned.

After the meeting, Lou Yan came to Shadow and apologised "Aniki, I apologize if my underling offended you."

Shadow waves his hand and smiles, "It's okay, he was only looking for the welfare and prosperity of the village."

Hesitating for a bit but seeing the smile on his friend's face, he finally asks "Umm, Shadow, Can we hunt now? I saw a level 9 Ironhide boar just yesterday."

"Okay, let's hunt, call fatty too" Shadow agrees without hesitation, even though, they are fighting a monster that is two/three times higher level than them.

Lou Yan nodded and left to find fatty, While Shadow got home and told his grandfather that he was going hunting.

Shadow also brought his tamed beast, a wolf named Glutton, he didn't know what kind of wolf it was, he only found it in the forest, when, it was still a cub, he thought it was a normal wolf at first but as it gets older, its appetite and strength greatly increased, what is much more monstrous to it, is its speed, it was so fast that he could only see a blur.

Shadow also brought his trusty sword, Killer, it was a pitch black katana, its handle and blade are all dark color. This blade has been with him since he can't even remember, it is the only remembrance he has on his parents, his grandfather said that it was the last thing he found when he was searching for his parents.

When he first saw it, He bled and dropped a tiny bit of his blood on the crystal on the end of the handle, ever since, he felt like it was an arm for him. It also devoured any tough material he gave to it, it also devoured the dead carcasses of any beast he killed using it and it would not do so without permission.

He got to the rendezvous point, where the 3 of them always meet before hunting.

"Yo, Shadow, Are we hunting today?" Ask Ban with an excited expression.

"Just ignore the fat pig, Aniki." Says, Lou Yan.

"Says the muscle brain idiot!" Hearing this, Ban fires back.

"D*mn you, fatty! At least my body gets the ladies what about you, huh?!" He mocks.

"You, shut up! I can woo a girl" Ban answers back but his expression clearly says that he is not confident.

"Yeah, right." Lou Yan smiles in disdain, he even laughs.

"Why, you! Laughing so sarcastically! You don't believe me? You gorilla!" Like a cat having his tail stepped on, Ban glares at Lou Yan.

"At least a gorilla is strong unlike a pig who only gets slaughtered." He does not care about the insult and instantly shoots back.

"Then, you accepted that you are a gorilla!" Ban, not caring about his answer, starts laughing.

"D*mn you fat pig!" Lou Yan shouts.

"The both of you stop bickering and lets go!" Shadow sighs, this is a regular situation between the two, he had to act as the elder to stop them.

Both of them stopped fighting but they still looked at each other menacingly.

A mile from their rendezvous point, there was a stretch of forest, after traveling for another mile they saw their prey.

It was a huge boar, its height was at least 20 meters and the width of it is at least 30 meters wide.

"It is only level 9 but it is not far from being bronze level, lets kill it" Shadow immediately decides.

Both Lou Yan and Fatty nodded.

They started sneaking towards it, Shadow signalled Glutton to start.

*Awooo* Glutton jumps off the bushes and issues a long howl towards the boar.

The boar was startled and stepped back but when it got to see clearly the beast that threatens it was actually just a measly Level 8 wolf.

*Phonk* It lets a snort and menacingly let out a screech towards Glutton.

Glutton is growling towards the boar. Both of them just stared at each other, not one is willing to be the first one to attack even though the boar is bigger and has a higher level, a wolf is still its natural predator.

While the atmosphere is tense between them, Shadow suddenly makes a move.

*Shing* He unsheathed Killer and ran a slash beneath the neck of the boar.

Blood starts pouring down the injury, the boar lets out a roar, its blood red eye looks towards Shadow, it then starts charging at him.

"Start now!" Shadow shouts.

Then he ran off and kept jumping from tree to tree while the boar kept chasing after him, ramming the trees, all the trees he jumped to were torn down by enraged boar.

*Awoo* Glutton nimbly jumps to the back of the boar, then, slashes its claw on the eye of the boar.

the boar lets out another screech and stops, it tries to shake off its enemy.

Glutton is forced to jump off from its back, the boar tries to tackle him but he speedily escapes, seeing this, the boar gets angry, it cannot even touch the being responsible for the injury of its eyes, it starts stomping the ground out of frustration.

*Pwish* A spear tears through the air and stabs towards the remaining eye.

*ROAR* The boar is now blind, it is not able to see anything, it lets out a hysterical roar then tries to flee.

"Now! Lou Yan! Kill it!" Shouted Shadow.
