CHAPTER 1 SHADOW

*Sigh*

a 16 years old boy is sitting beside a pond seemingly deep in thought 'It has been 16 years since I came into this world'

*Sigh* my old world was devoured by this world all humans, animals, and plants were transported here lucky for the animals and plants they weren't killed during the merging.

All humans died and reincarnated here, In the process, I only attained my old memories because the last I did before the merging seems to be playing some games that he found in an ancient ruin that seems to belong to a different world.

Before merging, a voice told us inside our minds that the world will be devoured and all intelligent life forms will be reincarnated into the new world.

The whole world was sent into chaos.

But the voice sounded out again and said that we all will be put to sleep.

After that all became sleepy and slept but I was frustrated I have been promoted in my job just the f*cking yesterday and now its the end of the world f*ck you so I grabbed a sharp object in my desk and stab my left hand I also bit my tongue to stay awake I climbed into the roof and saw a giant black whole coming towards the earth.

I raise my middle finger and shout f*ck you out loud towards the black hole.

"I will control my own destiny I will stay awake to the very end so f*ck you world"

I started laughing then crying I became mad but just for a few seconds I raised my head and stared at the black hole and resolutely swore that I would control my own destiny in my second life.

Then a voice sounded out on my head

That was the last I heard before I died.

Because of that I still have my memory intact even while I've reincarnated.

I was reborn in a place called the flowing river village because it is situated next to a river

even though it is called a village it is hardly one.

The total population of the village is 62 and the leader is my grandfather.

My grandfather's strength level is on SILVER LEVEL 1. The level of each person determines his status in this small place SILVER LEVEL is already considered a king, This place merely consist of NORMAL to BRONZE LEVEL to level up a person need to train his body to a certain degree. You can also find a cultivation manual to hasten or strengthen your level. A person with a cultivation technique is much stronger than a person without a technique.

Each level has 9 stages 1-3 in early stages 4-6 is middle stage and 7-9 is late stage level consist of ( NORMAL, BRONZE, SILVER, GOLD), after leveling up to next level no one in this town knows and it requires a cultivation technique to level up.

I'm only NORMAL LEVEL 6, it isn't high but it is not low either considering my age.

"Shadow chief is calling you"

I turned and saw a fat person waving his hand to me.

"Coming!" my name in this world is Shadow Eligan the one calling me is Ban Rheinold, my best friend has been with each other since we were 3 years old.

"So, Why is my grandfather calling me? Did something that happened?"

"I don't know, Chief just ordered me to call you"

I nodded and both of us walked inside a mansion "Grandpa why did you call me?"

An old man was sitting on a chair looking at Shadow with kind and benevolent gaze

"Come child sit I need to inform you with something"

Shadow nodded and sat in front of his Grandfather

"You should know that each realm of cultivation gives corresponding strength and lifespan to a person, BRONZE gives you 10 years, SILVER gives 20 and GOLD gives you 30"

Shadow of course knows he also knows where the conversation is heading his Grandpa is now over 100 years old, his lifespan is ending. An average person's lifespan is 100 years old his grandpa is still alive to this day because of his level.

Shadow was holding himself up from crying, he was an orphan in his last life but when he reincarnated to this world, he had a parent, even though, it was short lived, his grandpa gave him the warmth of a parent, he raised Shadow since he was a kid, giving him all his love.

"Okay, let us go to the center of the village and announce the news."

Shadow and his grandpa called for a gathering.

His grandpa nodded and yelled "Everybody! I have an important announcement I will pass my authority as the village chief to my grandson"

The villagers were boiling in discussion, some were sighing, some were frowning, some nodded and some just didn't care.

"Is there any opinion on my decision? Raise your hands."

Some hesitated but still decided not to raise their hands. Shadow's grandpa nodded, he was about to end the gathering when a commotion rang out.

"I disagree! I think boss Lou is much more suitable than Shadow!"

A couple of adolescents suddenly clamoured, even some adults nodded.

Of course, Shadow knows who this boss Lou is, his full name is Lou yan, one of Flowing River Village prodigy, he was already NORMAL LEVEL 7, even though, it was just 1 stage higher than Shadow it was a difference between heaven and earth

"Then what do you want about it?" Shadow suddenly shouted.
