The Power of Unconsciousness Talker

Thomas thought he must find that spy because he would cause problems for him later by exposing his more secrets.

Fortunately, when he came to the past, he had some gadgets with him. Those were still helping him. So, he considered them in that case.

He focused on all the gadgets he had and tried to get used to them to find that spy. Suddenly, he remembered the gadget named: "Unconsciousness Talker."

With that gadget, there was a 90% chance that he would know the truth.

The UnconsciousnessTalker was the best-known future gadget used in various settings by the police and the military. It released chloroform modified by the intense rays created by the artificial brain nerves.

Just after the person inhaled that kind of chloroform, he became semi-conscious. The person's brain got out of his control. Then, he honestly answered whatever he was asked.

Thomas did proper planning for that. The next day, he put a lot of work on spies. He asked them to prepare the digital work reports of their research while finding Quinn and Ai.

They kept on working till night. Thomas restricted them to the lab, saying that they wouldn't go until the work was completed.

As it was impossible to complete the work soon, they completed the task at 4:am. Thomas showed sympathy and allowed them to sleep that night in the lab because it would be dangerous for them to go home so late.

So, all the spies slept there. Thomas also stayed there.

When all of them were soundly sleeping, Thomas released that gas. All spies became unconscious. So, Thomas began the inquiry. First, he pressured them so they would totally consider them under Thomas.

"So, I have controlled your brains. Now, you'll exactly answer what I'll ask."

Then, he separately asked the same question from each spy.

"Have you told anybody about the secret of my company?"

All spies responded that they didn't tell anyone, not expecting the one who was the uncle's student.

Thomas had an older version of the Unconsciousness Talker. So, that caused only mild consciousness. The person had some capability to overcome its reaction.

Uncle's student tried much to control his brain and to keep the secret. But he was helpless. Thomas was overusing the chloroform to control his brain. However, the uncle's student was fighting well in response to that. He was constantly rubbing his hands and holding his brain to control himself.

His condition was clearly telling Thomas that he knew something. So, he kept on inserting pressure on his uncontrolled weak brain.

Finally, the spy's courage ended, and his unconscious mind compelled him to expose the secret.

"Yes, what happened was due to me. Ai's uncle was my teacher, so I told them everything, and they escaped to the next city".

Thomas became so furious to hear that. He wished to kill him to overcome his uncontrolled anger instantly.

Leaving all spies in that condition, Thomas also slept there. They would have to remain in that condition for 12 hours.

The Unconsciousness Talker gained amazing capability. Once the gas reaction ended, the person forgot everything that happened during the process.

That was because the gas affected the prefrontal cortex (short-term memory storing part of that brain).

That helped investigators to keep criminals in the illusion that they hadn't said anything so they would take any further action.

The next day, Thomas asked the spies if they had slept well in his lab or not. They thanked Thomas for allowing him to stay there and told him that they really had a good sleep in the comfortable environment.

So, Thomas was satisfied that they didn't know anything because the little bit of disruption in the process could cause a large problem.

It was challenging for Thomas to control himself when he knew the truth. But when he woke up in the morning, he had developed much self-control. He was deeply thinking about how to resolve the case properly.

"If I punish that cheater just for self-satisfaction, that wouldn't be beneficial."

"Oh! He has a direct relation with Ai's uncle, so I can easily access them through him."

"But what to do? He doesn't know anything about their house. How clever Ai is! He didn't tell anyone about his accommodation and didn't even leave a single clue".

"Whatever, this spy will now take me to Ai. Instead of relying on gadgets, now I have to make a proper plan for this".

After playing with many worst ideas, Thomas finally prepared a useful plan to access Ai.
