The forgotten demigod

A large room almost empty, with a wooden floor, wall, and roof. Besides a single desk and a chair, the room had nothing more. Sitting on the chair was a beautiful woman. She had white skin, black long hair, and was dressed in a purple dress, which was a little too provoking.

The only thing that was off about her was her face. Purple pupils with some little stars in them, and a tattoo in the form of a purple semi-circle on her forehead.

She was reading a book, which had a black cover and yellow pages, due to age.

"Achylis!" A man's voice came from outside the room. "Come in first." The wooden door opened and a man entered. He had ice white skin, yellow eyes, short red hair, and a full beard. Although he was panting, his expression was serious. "Achylis... Seriously, why is your office so far from the Court?"

She closed the book and got up. "You know why, Nieuni. But then, what brings the Demigod of time to my humble office?" Nieuni chuckled at the 'humble'. "They know about it... And they aren't happy."

She went around the desk and stopped in front of him. "And?" Her purple eyes met his. "I'm here to deliver..." Her right eyebrow raised. "...The formal request for your trial regarding..." Before he could finish, Achylis gestured for him to stop. "When?" He sighed heavily. "In one hour. And before you ask, yes, everyone will be there." Her relaxed expression swayed a little but soon returned to the usual calm face.

An hour and a half later, in the Court. The Court was made of a white stone and exuded an air of divinity. It had large columns and a tall door made of some golden metal. In the largest room inside it, a trial was being held.

"It won't make you look better if you get late on your own trial. But well, I'm glad. You've finally crossed the line." The room had white walls, and a gray carpet floor. Thirteen chairs and three rectangular tables.

Three of the chairs were behind the head table, on the opposite side of the room door. Two of them were occupied. An older woman and a very young-looking girl were sitting on the two chairs. Both were incredibly beautiful.

On the left, is another table with four chairs. On them, two men and two women were seated Nieuni was one of them.

On the right side, is an identical table to the left side, with the same four chairs behind it. However, on the side of that table, an extra chair was placed. In total, five men were on the right.

"Oh, please, spare of your self-indulgence. Now that you're the main judge you think you can spit your poison on everyone?" Achylis's voice was low, however, everyone heard it. On her way to the chair in the center, she laughed like a maniac. Before sitting, she grinned at the older woman. "Shall we, Hipnosa?" Hipnosa snorted and suppressed her anger.

"In this holy Court, every god is equal. Today, the Great goddess of creation is accused of carrying a Descendant in her womb. The accused deny?" The young girl spoke first. She had a tender voice. "Asking the obvious doesn't make you smart, young one." She blushed, but she did not fall to the provocation.

"The accused deny or not?" Achylis chuckled. "No young miss, I don't deny my grave sin." Whispers could be heard from both sides. Hipnosa grinned, but the girl on her side couldn't take the childish provocations anymore.

"We're equally qualified to be here! My age isn't a barrier..." She stopped when Hipnosa patted her shoulder. She leaned back on her chair and stared at Achylis with eyes full of rage.

Hipnosa gets up. "Then it's simple Achylis. You defied the vow. You have two choices. One is to directly reverse your wrongdoings and kill the root of the problem, or we can do it for you. Either way, your son will die. Choose wisely."

Achylis gets up too. "I won't take anyone's time. I'll cut the root myself, however, I have a request." The girl jumped from the chair yelling. "What rights do you have you sinner! You're lucky that we didn't kill..." Again, Hipnosa patted the girl's shoulder. She whispered something in the girl's ear, and she readily seated again, smiling from ear to ear.

"I'm all ears Achylis." Achylis sigh heavily. "I want to be present whenever the body is disposed of." Whispers and incredulous gazes filled the room. Even Hipnosa's calm face showed traces of surprise. "I... We can make it happen. Seriously, you are a vile monster." Achylis laugh like a maniac again and with a snap of her fingers, she vanished.
