Chapter 138

We both stopped her from crying. For me, I thought walking out on her wouldn’t have been a good idea, even from all that she had said. She really cared about us, which I think Lora is also having the same reasoning with me.

"It's okay mum, you don’t need to cry," Lora said, patting her consolingly on her shoulder.

While I passed the tissue paper to her so she could wipe her face off with it.

"Thank you so much," she said softly. She placed her hand on both of our cheeks and after she was done feeling it, she took off her hand when she was done feeling our cheeks.

"I’m sorry once more to both of you," she apologised again.

"There is nothing to be sorry about, mummy. Me and Lora understand why you did what you did," I responded.

"Okay, continue with what you were saying, mum," Lora said softly.

"Lucan, Allison's husband, told me she was alive, but she was now like him. I didn’t believe him. I thought they were trying to make me feel like she was still alive so I could stop behaving like a sadist." She said

"Did he really say that my mummy was alive?" I asked.

"Yes, she is still alive," she said.

"Did you just say she is still alive?" Lora asked.

"Yes, I have been looking for her for a while now, and I have finally seen her," she replied.

I can’t believe she is still alive. I can’t really wait to meet her. Someday, I should collect the address of where she is staying to go and meet her.

"Can you please give me the address of where she stays?" I asked.

Me! " Lora exclaimed.

"Excuse me, please. Are you the only one who wants to see her here?" Lora asked.

I responded, "I never said I was going to go and meet her all alone. Wouldn’t she even ask you after she sees me coming alone?"

"It’s okay you guys. Try to be calm once in a while. I don’t even have her address yet, I’m just sure she stays in that area," she said.

"What happened to your husband and your only baby girl?" Lora asked.

She smiled softly, "My husband was killed by Robert for helping Lucan and his wife, Kendall died because of me, he took all the blame, even though he knew how he was going to save us for a while but he didn’t because he didn’t want us all to live wanted for the rest of our life, after he was killed in front of me, I weeped badly, and kept blaming myself for all that had happened.

After days that I had recovered slightly from his death, I thought of taking our daughter to his granny, because anytime I look at her, I’m remembered of  my husband, I couldn’t keep living take that, so I went and drop her off to her granny when she was two years." She revealed.

"What’s her name," I asked.

"And is she still alive," Lora asked.

"She’s alive and doing okay with her life, while her name is Lydia," she answered
