Thirty minutes after the dark vortex swallowed the scarlet dragon and Norton, sending them into the Glass Dome, it manifested again.
Cain calmly emerged through it, though his appearance was far from unscathed. His face was pale, his body riddled with wounds, and the scarlet flames that constantly surrounded him struggled to consume the remnants of necrotic energy still infesting his tissues. Yet, despite his injuries, a smile crept onto his face.
He had won.
