The Atrox Duke stood up and glanced at Kain and Astrid for a moment before exiting the hall, leaving the duo alone.
"Will I really be able to cultivate?"
After her father left, Astrid spoke those words with a trembling voice. Yesterday was an impossible dream, but now it seemed it would only be a matter of time. Everything was so shocking that the young woman did not know how to respond.
The Scarlet King gave the young Atrox woman a kind smile as he patted her head.
"You will gain the power to fly through the sky, shatter mountains with your hands, and live for thousands of years."
After saying those words, the Scarlet King turned around and left for the guest room he had previously occupied. It was better to let Astrid acclimate to the news alone.
