CHAPTER 10 RUSH

Well, they came out of the mall looking at the shopping bags they had in their hands. "Quick! We need to reach the hills by time." said John. "Can you please hold my bag for a second? I wanna tie my laces." requested sierra. "Me?" asked Sarah. "Yea. for a second." Sarah held the bag for a while when Sierra was tying laces and others were discussing the routes.

Sarah was feeling something extra heavy in Sierra's bag.

"Hey, sierra!"

"Yea?"

"Why is your bag heavier than ours?

"Heavy? Nope!"

"I'm a human too and I can judge what's heavy or not!"

"That's not the point! You're getting older now, nothing else."

"Ok…hurry up!"she tied her laces and jumped up

"Thank you!" said Sierra while taking back her bag.

They had done with the area and now they are moving towards the hills!

"Get in! Get in! Get in!" said John, opening the door.

Everyone got in, he closed the door and then he went in his driving seat. He started the van and rushed towards the hills. On the way the weather was clear and fresh. On the way the girls were quiet and were talking with their eyes. They were sitting parallel to each other. Sometimes they are funny, sometimes emotional, sometimes serious and sometimes caring.

They were raising their eyebrows up and down asking for their feelings that time. Martha noticed it but didn't say anything. She smiled and turned her face to the other side.

Alana was talking to her mom, telling her about the entire trip. One by one everyone talked to her and then Martha asked to talk with Mrs. Arnold. They chit chatted and the girls were chatting and laughing with John. they reached there on time. Phew! They parked the van. By the time they reached, they had not enough energy. But the environment changed their mood. They got out of the van and looked around. The place was a deception. The place was stated as 'hill' but the place was a piece of heaven. There were plains where lots of flowers and bushes were planted under the shelter of the sky.

There was a lake, river and some views of mountains apart.

"Woa, it refreshed my mood," said Sarah.

"I thought it would be barren," said Sierra.

"I didn't expect it too." said john and he continued

"Fine, let's go on."

Everyone took their bags and went to the plains. They picked out the tents and hooks for a temporary rest. Unluckily, this task was given to girls.

"Hurry! Where are the hooks?" shouted Sarah at a distance. They were cooperating well to set up the tent. It took time but they nailed it.

"Aha! We did it!" exclaimed athena.

" Yeah. you did great." appreciated Martha.

They stood and observed the tent. John was setting up the grill for some fantastic and delicious food. Martha and the girls settled the bags in the tent. And went to the ground where John was preparing for grilled lamb chops.

Girls were sitting, after a while, they went to look around the place. There were flowers with fragrances and butterflies. Some were odourless and some were beautifully scented. Some were bright and some were dull.

They played around the flowers until the food was prepared.

John was a good chef, I hope that he would make it better. After 30 minutes of struggles, girls can smell the delicious food getting into plates. Martha was cutting some fruits and preparing the ground for having lunch. The weather was awesome-like it's going to rain in the next 5 minutes. Girls helped her with the work, they sat down and wolf down the lamb chops with some drink and after them some sweet fruit salad.

After they had finished their lunch, they stood up and fetched up the dishes and foodies. They closed the BBQ grills and set them aside. Girls were chit-chatting and walking around the area.

"Hey, girls! Listen up!" shouted John distantly.

Girls came nearer to him while he was having a rope for game and Martha was arranging seats, picking out her notebook and looking for the place to be clean.

"'Kay, you can tug here!" pointed at the right, open place.

"Here?" asked Sarah and then they moved right over there.

"Straight your ears!" said john

"Straighten!"

"Okayyy" giggled john and continued

"So we're going to play 5 games on the ground, two sports in water-"

"Water?" asked sarah

"Water?!" overreacted to Sierra.

"Water!" exclaimed Athena.

"Yes, water! And then a tiny-tan cooking competition. After that, boom!"

"Boom?" asked Sierra.

"Means we'll leave." replied John.

"Oh,"

"So…are we ready for the first match of the first game?" asked john

The girls were taking their positions. Here comes the team-A! Including Alana and Athena. And there comes the second team-S! Including Sarah and Sierra.

The first game was war! No, no, no! Not that war! Tug of war! They aligned themselves in a proper manner and constructed themselves for exerting full of their energy.

"Okay now, the match is going to start. No cheating allowed, no deceit! No misbehaving! Alright?"

"Ok!" replied girls

"There will be three rounds. The one who wins more, will be announced as the winner of the match. And remember, it's just for fun, not for a prize!" cheered martha

Girls cheered each other, exhaled and gripped the rope tightly.

"On the count of three!....three!"

"Huh?" gasped sierra

But suddenly the girls pulled the rope as strongly and energetically as they could.

By the difficult time, finally team S won the match.

"Congrats bud!" appreciated Alana.

"Thanks bruh!" said sarah

"I didn't realise you have much energy than me" giggled athena

"You tried well too," said Sierra.

"Congratulations, girls. You did well, both of you!" said john

"Next round?" asked Martha.

"Why not?" said sarah

"Then be aligned for the next round! Okay on the count of three, one-"

They started to pull without hearing what he said.

"Hey! Hey hey! Stop. I didn't count three at all. Let me please?"

Girls looked at each other and set back their positions.

"Ok…on the count of three! One, two, three!!"

They started their match and once again team-S won.

"Woohoo! Victory!" exclaimed Sarah.

"Woa! You nailed it sista!" said Athena.

"Can I win? Pwease?" said sierra childishly making a cute face

"Aww…don't worry, whatever I will get we will divide it equally. Happy?" said alana

"Okiee!" said Sierra.

"Well done! You scored two!" said Martha.

"Do you want the next round or not?" asked john

"Leave it sir, by the bye it's clear that they won in a breeze."

"Oh, ho," giggled Martha, "so let's move towards the next one. Right?"

"Okay!"

"So the next one is…badminton!"said John

"Cool!" Said Sarah.

"I think I can do it better." Sierra said.

"Yea. Once you won the medal in the Sports Gala." Said Sarah.

"Why not. That time you were fat and chubby but still you did it. Now you are smart and slim so I think you can do it better than before."

Said Alana while examining her whole body and nodding her head.

"Humph! So you think I am fat?"

"No, no. i meant to say that you 'were' fat not 'are' fat!"

"Oh really? You come here!" she nodded her head and wolf on her.

Alana was running and laughing around the ground, and Sierra after her.

Wasn't this enough that Sarah is recording this scene in Sierra's vlogging camera? Humph! She wants to die. Anyways, Martha and John were chuckling at them and Athena was looking at them quietly.

"Ok, ok, enough?" said Martha.

"We have to do the sports quickly," said John.

"Sir, can we skip games?" asked Athena.

"Why?"

"Because there is a shortage of time here."

"Then? Are you postponing it or cancelling?"

"Just postponing. We can enjoy them at the campsite. No?"

"Hm…seems like a great idea! But there wouldn't be a river, maybe."

"So we have to cancel our water sports?"

"If you wish."

"No, no. We have to do it!"

"Then, we must postpone other games and do water sports. Right?"

"Yes!"

While they were talking 'bout this, sarah was recording the scene; women's fighting scene!

"Hello everyone, this is unknown. You've seen many couples fighting with each other but here you can see two wild buffaloes are being mad"

"You! You have to pay for what you did!"

"Aish!!! They're not going to stop until you say anything to them." said Sarah while stopping the recording.

"Everybody stop and still!" shouted john

There was silence, everyone stopped where they were. Sarah was shocked, athena was going to laugh so she just folded her lips, sierra and alana were on each other.

Martha smiled and said "this is what you should have understood before."

"Ok, now. Leave it. Mark my words, we're postponing other athletics and sports for the campsite. We will do only water sports here."

"Hm…so what will we do first?"asked sarah

"Fishing!" replied Martha.

"No…"muttered Sierra.

"What happened to Sierra? Are you afraid of water?" taunted Alana.

"Water? No! Who said it?"

"Then?....Are you coming?"

"Yeah. you go first, I'm comin'"

"O…k" they went towards the bank of the river and enjoyed the fishing.
