The Hunt Begins

Team Apocalyptia advances toward the magical beasts, Aetos detects a group of 20 beasts, their levels are between 14 and 17, and their individual powers might vary from 45 thousand to 300 thousand, 20 of those beasts is considered an alarming situation for a small group, and just about the best challenge for the Oni.

"They're a small group of 20 beasts, their levels are between 14 and 17!" said Aetos, and prepared her Bow.

"This might be dangerous!" said Valerius.

"Valerius! Run with your warhorse and surround them. Aetos, shoot your fire arrows to make a path that leads our way so that they can't escape! Aurora prepare your dagger throw skill. And Raunos, prepare to defend us if something happens," said Nox, instantly coming up with the perfect plan to capture all those Magical Beasts.

"Roger that!!" they replied.

Valerius surrounds the beasts, and they start running, Aetos throws her fire arrows forming a way, the beasts are running in a straight line, and Aurora is preparing her Dagger Throw skill waiting for Nox's signal.

-Nox is activating a skill "𝕶𝖓𝖊𝖊𝖑 !!!"

The dark Aura fused with the poisonous nature of the skill spread in the direction of the Magical beasts, They became afraid as soon as they got caught in the skill but it was already too late, The Beasts collapsed under the skill's pressure, and suddenly exploded all at once, in a scene that left everyone in shock.

"What??!!" shouted Aurora.

"Did you really just kill them with just that!!" said Raunos.

"I once tried it on a level 12 beast and it exploded, I didn't expect it to do the same to level 17 beasts.. haha!" replied Nox.

"You're the Beast here..." said Lucia.

"Actually, the Poisonous Aura has a buff, it's 10 times more effective against Magical beasts," said Nox.

"What!! 10 times!!" shouted Aetos.

"If only I tried a little bit harder that day, I could've got this power," said Valerius while crying.

"Then It's similar to my light element, it's 7 times more effective against magical beasts!" said Lucia.

"And you call me the beast," said Nox with a straight face.

"Let's go cry in the corner, those two are unnatural!" said Raunos.

"We have to gather our magical cores, but don't let your guard down!" said Nox.

Team Apocalyptia has gathered the Magical cores of the Beasts, this is already a good start for this expedition.

"I can't believe we got this many cores so fast, if we keep doing this we'll gather more magical cores than the others can imagine," said Aurora.

Team Apocalyptia continued to venture into the woods, and gathered more Magical cores on the way, At some point, Magical beasts started avoiding them, and then Nox felt a dark Aura approaching them, it wasn't from a beast, Lucia detected it as well, she looks at Nox, he nods his head meaning No, she understood that he wants to handle it himself.

"Guys, head 50 miles ahead and make a camp, I'll be back to you shortly," said Nox.

"Where are you going.?" asked Raunos, but Nox has already disappeared.

"He's becoming more annoying with this power of his," said Aetos.

"Watch your mouth Aetos, he's our leader now!" said Lucia.

"Ohohoh, do you have a crush on him?" asked Aetos, Lucia blushed angrily.

"What are you talking about!!" shouted Lucia.

"Lucia is in love!! Lucia is in love!!" sang Aetos teasing Lucia.

"Stop singing it!!!" said Lucia.

20 miles away, Nox is investigating who's tailing them, especially after Nox got away from his team, the Dark Energy seems to be following him, whoever it is, they're targeting Nox.

"Who's there!! Show yourself!!" shouted Nox.

"Then you're the infamous Nox, you saved me the trouble of coming to you," said a male voice.

"State your business!" said Nox.

"You killed my adopted son, it's your time to die!" he replied.

"I'd like to see you try!" said Nox.

"You're gonna know the reason they call me Shadow Caster," said Eldric, the father of Damian Blackthorn, it's clear that they chose this opportunity to deal with Nox.

"Never heard of it", said Nox, smirking in Eldric's face.

"You'll regret it!!!!" shouted Eldric.

-Eldric is casting a spell "Graveyard of Souls"

Shadows get up from the underground and spread in the space, and hundreds of shadow hands are grabbing into Nox, This is a curse spell, it drains the life force of whoever is caught in it, as well as paralyzes their movement.

"You're no big deal, this is your end!!" said Eldric.

Shadow spikes come out of the ground and try to pierce Nox's body, but Nox remains silent.

"The cat got your tongue? Are you shaking in fear? Hahahah!" said Eldric.

"Are you done?" asked Nox.

"What??" said Eldric, surprised that Nox was still fine.

The spikes couldn't reach Nox, and the shadow hands couldn't grab him, Eldric's spell failed.

"You're a Curse Archmage that relies on shadows, but consider it your bad luck that, 𝖒𝖞 𝙑𝖊𝖓𝖔𝖒𝖔𝖚𝖘 𝜦𝖚𝖗𝖆 𝖎𝖘 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖘𝖚𝖕𝖊𝖗𝖎𝖔𝖗 𝕯𝖆𝖗𝐤𝖓𝖊𝖘𝖘!!!" said Nox.

"No!! Impossible!! How can you not be affected by it!!! Everyone!! Attack him!!" shouted Eldric.

Multiple figures jump from the trees trying to attack Nox, as he takes out his dagger '𝚴𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙𝖒𝖆𝖗𝖊'.

-𝚴𝖔𝖝 is activating a skill "𝙑𝖊𝖓𝖔𝖒 𝕾𝖙𝖗𝖎𝐤𝖊"

The dagger releases venom in the shape of snakes and strikes enemies, The Aura of the snakes makes opponents feel cold as death draws near, if an enemy is touched by this poison, they're paralyzed, and lose the limb that was bitten.

The venomous Aura pierces through the enemies as they're helplessly struggling.

"Patriarch Eldric!!! We can't stop those snakes!!!" said an underling and died.

"Even if we block them, our armor melts!" said the other underling who was also on the verge of death.

"You losers, deal with it!! I'm out of here!!" said Eldric, and tried to run for his life, Nox released more snakes and attacked all the enemies with Venom, then pierced Eldric's heart, he dropped dead.

"This skill is really powerful! " said Nox, but suddenly felt sick as if he himself was bitten by a snake.

( Damn it, I merely used the skill one time, the poison is stronger than I thought! This backlash is not normal, I should use this power more carefully in the future) he thought and then looted the bodies of the enemies.

"Blackthorn family sure is wealthy, those men have on them 3 'A rank' artefacts, and Eldric has an 'S Rank' one, I'm already reaping the benefits of this trip! Hahaha." said Nox, he then returned to join his team.

"You're finally back Nox!" said Aetos.

"What? Did you miss me?" he asked.

"There's no way!!" replied Aetos.

"Who's in love now hehe.." said Lucia teasing Aetos.

"Shut it, Lucia!! shouted Aetos.

"What are you two talking about, didn't you hear me? Come check this out!" said Nox.

"That's an 'S rank' artifact!!" said Lucia.

"Wait! This is... Patriarch Eldric Blackthorn's artifact, how did you get it Nox!" asked Valerius.

"How else, I killed him!" said Nox.

"What?? How come? How could you even be able to do it?" shouted Aurora.

"He came to avenge his adopted son but lost his life instead," said Nox.

"But what if someone knows of this?" asked Valerius.

"So what if they do? Besides, the skill I used on him leaves traces of snake bites and a deadly Poison, They can't touch him or they'll die too," said Nox.

"So he died by Magical Beasts," said Raunos with his fingers crossed.

"And we happen to find his spatial ring," said Aurora with her eyes sparkling.

"You guys are scary," said Valerius.
