In Her Honor

The Emperor was in his study chamber when he saw the crowd through his window. He didn't pay much attention to it because his mother always finds a reason to celebrate.

He is happy! 

Still sitting on his mat he continue to arrange his unread scroll for when he will return and then he heard eunuch Noh Ji-Wook announce his mother arriver.

Normally this makes him wonder what her reason could be but he has already figured it out.

How news fly around his palace, he let it pass because it's happy news and people are allowed to rejoice with him, besides, it could be one of his servants who was present when he received the message and let out a joyful scream.

It is a heartwarming news.

The Empress entered and walked to her son's front.

"Mother." The Emperor greet still busy with his arranges.

"I won't be able to attend your party ..as you can see I'm occupied with this important scripts." The Emperor said when his mother didn't say anything. He discarded the last scroll and look up at her.

"Alright son, it's just that I called the celebration in Kleila's name. I heard the good news and.." 

"Oh, it's alright mother. I'm glad you did this in her honor."  He said ready to close the conversation but then he remembers how his mother always plead for him to be present during every occasion she set and he always refuse.

"She did good this time." He mused and at the same time realizing that this is his mother telling him and the whole world that she accepts Kleila.

After some thought he got up and followed his mother who lead him to her chamber. 

Inside the Empress chamber is a round table which on top of it has a two cup already filled with drinks.

The Emperor smiles as he sits down on a mat his mother directed him to. "It's good to know that you've realized what you did is wrong and has set this as an apology."

The Emperor raised his drink up, move it towards his mother's and say "I accept." And then he proceeded to drink it but was interrupted by his personal guard ..Woong.

He places his drink back on the table before walking to his mother's door, he opened it and asked his guard what the matter is.

"A new message just arrived Your Highness and it comes from the searching team."He replied without any hesitation, the Emperor began to walk out but the Empress stopped him with his drink in hand. 

"Have your drink first son." She urge and he wanted to reject it but felt like why not, he took a drink from his mother's hands and left the room.

"Man-se will bring the remaining to your chamber!." The Empress called after him and immediately after she urge the said Man-se to take the remaining drink to the Emperor chambers.
