Be Mine!

At 3 early in the morning, Liu Rushi opened her eyes. She looked at the unfamiliar ceiling and scrunched her face. "This is not my room…" As images of what happened with her and Lei Qingshan at the office surfaced her brain, she instantly sat upright on the bed.

"Am I at his home?" She asked herself as she noticed the lavish decoration of the room. Then, she looked down and sighed. "I am wearing a night dress." She had thought that she would be naked right now because she remembered that she had slept on him naked.

"Slept on him naked?" She blushed as she recollected how their sticky bodies laid on top of one another. Scribbling through her hair, she screamed.

*THUD-THUD*

As she heard a different type of banging on the door, Liu Rushi became startled. With fear visible in her eyes, she looked at the door shaking due to the continuous banging. "It's me… Can you open the door?" She sighed as she heard Lei Qingshan's voice from outside the door.

"The heck!! With what is he even knocking on the door? It scared me…." Sighing, she got out of the bed and twisted the door knob.

Lei Qingshan who was knocking on the door continuously with the pot in his hand, heard the door knob twisting and he pushed the door open with his leg.

Liu Rushi immediately made way for him and he entered inside holding the pot. He kept it on the bed and shook his hands. "Dammn! It's really hot!"

He sat on the bed and rubbed his hands. "Did you sleep well?" He asked.

"Yeah." Liu Rushi softly replied and sat on the bed.

Lei Qingshan removed the lid of the pot and the steam started to flow upwards. Liu Rushi looked at the stew inside the pot. Her stomach started grumbling as she saw the mouthwatering stew. She hadn't had food since evening so, she was really hungry.

Lei Qingshan scratched his head and sheepishly said "I don't know what you like so, I just made this stew…"

"You made it?" Liu Rushi looked at him with her eyes and mouth wide open.

Lei Qingshan gave a nod. "I cook food only for those whom I love…And I… lov…"

"Can I get the spoon? I'm really hungry." Liu Rushi broke off his sentence and tapped her stomach indicating she was hungry.

Lei Qingshan chuckled and gave her the spoon. Liu Rushi thanked him and started eating.

To be honest, Liu Rushi knew what he was gonna say… That is why she cut him mid-way. She didn't wanted to hear those words again… His actions were already creating a fuss in her head and his words would have been even more harder to tolerate.

At night also, she did hear something from him but she wasn't clear about it cause her mind din't allow her to think.

Taking out a small box from his pocket, Lei Qingshan slid it towards Liu Rushi.

"What's this?" She asked as she took a sip of water.

"I want to get back with you…" Lei Qingshan took the box and opened it. A small diamond ring came in Liu Rushi's view. "I could have done more but I couldn't wait any more…"

Liu Rushi looked surprised. Her hand stopped midway in the air. No words came out of her mouth. She was only able to ask a single 'why'.

Lei Qingshan was prepared to hear her questions. But he was surprised to hear only a single why from her. Even if it was a single why, he decided to answer his best… to make her his.

"After we both broke up, I realized that I couldn't stay without you. Not even a single day of mine went by without thinking about you…I know I said all those weird things to you but I guess… those words weren't at all true. I had been a fool and I regret for my action, Liu Rushi!"

Letting the tears come out of his eyes, he sat down on his one knee and expressed his feelings to her. "I love you, Liu Rushi. Please be mine."

Liu Rushi stood up. She became silent. She felt like she had no words to say. Her heart was beating like crazy. This was really making her brain go blank. She became speechless. Her heart was already clenching by seeing him cry.

Walking towards him, she held him by his shoulders and pulled him up. "I… need some time to think… Please." At this time, she felt it was better to say him this…

Lei Qingshan wiped his tears and let out a smile. "I'm sorry. Take as much time as you like… I just want to hear a 'yes' from you." He pressurized more on the word 'Yes' and moved closer to her face. Kissing her on her forehead, he said "Go back to sleep now… You have to go for work, later."

Liu Rushi gave a nod and Lei Qingshan left the room taking the pot with him. He smiled as he felt relieved….

Going inside his room, he opened his drawer and took out a mask. "I think you and I will stay together for a few more days until she accepts me and then I have to bid you goodbye. It was good working with you, Ji Min Jun."

He gave a smile and kept it back inside his drawer. Like a child getting his favorite candy, he bounced on the bed and yelled… "Finally, I will have you forever…. I promise myself to treat you well this time, Liu Rushi." He crossed his heart and made a promise.
