"Ouch!" Liu Rushi broke out from her trance as she heard Ji Min Jun's scream. She rushed towards -hb-him. "Manager Ji, Your hand…" She saw the blood coming out from his index finger. "Didn't I say that I would do it?" She snatched the knife from his hand and kept it down.

"Honestly, I don't understand why people even use knives when they don't know how to use them…" She frowned and took out the first-aid box from the cupboard.

Thanks to Xiao Yang getting thrown out of the company, Liu Rushi had now become Lei Qingshan's assistant. So, now she worked in the same room as Ji Min Jun.

"What?" Liu Rushi looked at him surprised. Her eyes blinked continuously as she tried to understand what he just told. She felt her face heating up and turning red not because of Manager Ji saying it but because she remembered Lei Qingshan saying her the same words yesterday.

With eyes wide like an owl, Liu Rushi felt his lips on hers. 'What is this? Why are we kissing?' Her mind started asking her questions as she felt his tongue inside her.

Meanwhile, Liu Jiangou came inside the marketing department for his daily rounds. Everyone bowed at him and he walked towards the Manager's room. As he walked closer towards the door, he heard few voices from inside…

"Is something wrong with my face, Manager Ji?" Liu Jiangou heard his daughter's worried tone. And he became curious. 'Why is my daughter inside?' Then, he remembered that she was appointed as the assistant of his.

His curiosity grew even more as he heard Ji Min Jun's reply "Nothing! You are just cute, Miss Liu."

This line made him even more curious. 'What are they even doing at this hour of the day?' He felt his heart beat wildly and he slightly pulled the door handle and opened the door.

As he opened the door, he felt himself struck by thunder. 'They are kissing? But why?'

After Liu Rushi's last breakup… Liu Jiangou had become very much protective of her. And after that hugging incident, he became even more over-protective of her… Not only that, he always had his eyes on Ji Min Jun… He thought that he was the one manipulating his daughter…

Holding back her tears, she rushed out of the room running. Taking her things with her, she ran out of the office.
