Elena watched as everyone got ready to go hunting and she smiled. She has developed a habit of smiling when her things were proceeding the way she wants them to. The King of Izmia and queen of Enchansia took their seats at the arena where a feast will be held after the hunt when she chooses a groom. Her wedding is also set to take place there.
The princess made her way to the arena to take a look at the decorations. Everything was just the way she wanted it to be and she couldn't wait to tie the knot with her beloved prince at that arena. She saw the queen staring at her and made her way to her. She took a seat.
"How are you enjoying Atria so far?" she asked and Regina frowned at her.
"To be honest I hate your kingdom," she stated.
"True but that doesn't answer my question."
"You confuse me, princess, at times you act way too smart, and other times you feign ignorance. I don't understand you but to answer your question I don't like my stay here as your kingdom irritates me."
"Don't worry you can leave after the wedding and the Coronation is done," she said.
"I pity the man who will marry you. You have no heart or soul and you will just condemn him to a life of loneliness and despair. But I am glad your sister isn't like you and with her as his second wife. Your husband might get some love in this lifetime," the queen pointed out.
Elena who had been smiling since the day began finally lost her smile. She did not expect the queen to say that to her and more importantly. She didn't expect her to speak in favor of Elsie, she swallowed the bitterness in her and smiled.
"You are right about one thing, I don't have a heart. And I think that you lack brains too, I don't like being compared to others so don't make that mistake while you are in my kingdom or else you will regret it dearly. I don't mind taking your life and I will do it in such a way that no one would dare point a finger at me."
Elena walked away after threatening the life out of the queen. She did not just threaten her with her words but also her magic. She used expression to send dark electric spell into Regina's system. Shocking the witch in her seat. It would take a while for the magic to wear off but her words had hit Elena where it hurts the most.
Elena stood at the starting line where they will have to run and hunt in the forest. She stared at the distance while her mind replayed Regina's words over and over again. The idea of losing Esteban to Elsie was something she couldn't tolerate. She was going to such great lengths to be with the one she loved and there was no way she was going to let anyone take Esteban away from her.
She took a deep breath and tried to let the matter slide but something at the back of her mind kept telling her that what the queen said was true. She was cold and heartless underneath the mask she wears and the day Esteban would realize that he might leave her, she thought.
He was the only good thing aside from her grandmother that has happened to her and she didn't want to lose him. She was getting angrier and angrier with each second that passed. She was not just losing her mind but her heart was also in chaos. She wanted to make Atria chaotic but she got a taste of her own medicine. She didn't like a single second of it.
She didn't wait for the others to come and made a run for it, she needed to cool down, and standing in one place for long wasn't doing that for her it was driving her even more insane. She runs at high speed and in no time she had traveled so far deep in the forest. She stopped in her tracks and screamed her heart out, her scream was so loud it frightened all the animals in the forest into hiding. She was angry and starving.
She squinted her eyes and took a look at her surrounding to see if there was anything she could eat. She saw a moving figure in the distance and run towards it. Her eyes were pure black and her fangs were emitting a dark mist.
She caught the creature and dug her fangs into their neck and sucked the blood in his system. She drained the blood from it and dropped the body. Blood trickled from her lip down to her neck. She ran off and left the body there, little did the princess know that she had fed on a human and not an animal. She was blinded by her rage and hunger that she mistook her meal's identity.
She ran away from the lake and washed the blood off her clothes. She couldn't stand the blood on her and kept trying to wash it off.
She finally heaved a sigh of relief when the stain came off.
She got up feeling relaxed and decided to go back to the palace and start the hunt. She ran at her vampire speed and fell when she lost her balance. She lost her balance due to the pain she got from her back, as a vampire, black vampire she has never known physical pain. The pain was new to her, "Did the witch hex me?" she asked herself.
"But that is not possible. I am a black blood vampire, I cannot be hexed. Then where did that pain come from?" she asked but didn't the chance to think of an answer because the pain doubled in her back. She screamed in agonizing pain and bent down to the ground.
The sky had grown dark and thunder and lightning danced around in the sky. The event was unheard of nor had anyone ever seen anything like it. The people of Atria went into their houses and locked shut their doors. They didn't want to know the cause of the sudden change in the weather. The hunt was postponed and everyone was advised to get indoors and not come out until everything gets cleared.
Elena cried in pain as the pain in her body kept multiplying like crazy. She took her clothes off as they were uncomfortable and making the pain worse, she fell to the ground and cried in pain. Her hand bent backward and her legs merged to her thigh and also bent backward. Her backbone grew longer and harder than usual, her eyes turned the color grey and her fangs came out. Before she knew it she was covered in fur and had a tail.
A true black blood wolf had emerged from the vampire queen. She took aan into the forest and howled loudly on top of a hill. Her howling traveled to Izmia and Atria making every shapeshifter uncomfortable. They felt the need to bow to her and accept her as their alpha. She commanded their transformation.
"A black blood Alpha has risen," whispered king Marcus feeling a bit fearful.
