Opening her eyes
The night was dry, the sand storm was ongoing outside the palace. After having their dinner Elena explains to them that there was a creature out there with her blood that plans to destroy all of the supernatural creatures.
Esteban filled her in on his experience with the sand creature. She sat on the balcony having tea with her childhood best friend.
"What do you think of Anika?" Lola asked her, she was convinced the girl had ulterior motives that weren't good but for some reason, Esteban wouldn't believe her.
"She is a nice girl and I trust her. She loves and cares for us like family," Elena replied without batting an eye. What she said was the opposite of what Lola had expected her to say.
