SUDDEN REALIZATION

Mo Shira: "I'm so...sorry..."

Yue Ling: "Please...don't...don't come...close to me. I hate you," she shouted.

The words hit Mo Shira like a dagger to the heart. He couldn't grasp their full meaning, but the pain was unmistakable.

Yue Ling bolted from the cabinet, racing out of the hotel with Mo Shira in pursuit.

Mo Shira: "Hey, wait! Please stop!"

Yue Ling didn't look back, running as if her life depended on it. Outside, she headed straight for her car, but just as she was about to get in, Mo Shira grabbed her arm and pulled her back.

Mo Shira: "I said I'm sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen. I promise."

Yue Ling struggled to free herself, desperate to hide her emotions. Staying any longer, she feared she might lose control.

Mo Shira refused to let go.

Yue Ling: "That's it. I've had enough, Mo Shira. I know you hate me, but I didn't know you hated me enough to see me assaulted."

Her voice trembled with rage and hurt.

Yue Ling: "I know you're angry because I'm your secretary, and you think I did something to your grandfather and family, which is why they gave me this position. You think I know nothing about business. But what you don't know is that I have an MBA. I studied abroad before returning to this country.

"My father could have provided for me. I wouldn't have had to work for anyone else if his company were still around. I'm not the gold digger you think I am. I'm from the Yue family in country D. We may not compare to your family, but we're still influential.

"I wouldn't have come to your company if it weren't for my parents' tragic accident and my father's last wish. I don't know why he chose your company, but despite all the terrible things I've heard about you, I honored his wish

Her words, laced with anger and streaming tears, left her exhausted. She crumpled, sobbing uncontrollably, hating herself for her perceived weakness.

Mo Shira stood there, stunned and speechless. He realized how much he'd taken her for granted, always pushing her to quit.

Despite his harsh treatment, she'd never shed a tear, always facing the hardest tasks with a smile. He'd thought she was unbreakable.But now, seeing her vulnerability shocked him into silence. And for reasons he couldn't fathom, he felt an overwhelming urge to comfort her.

He moved closer to comfort her, but then he realized she was talking to herself.

Yue Ling: "Why did you leave me alone in this cruel world, Father and Mother? I can't live without you. I have no one by my side. What should I do now?"

Hearing her words melted his heart, and he didn't realize when a tear slid down his cheek. Overcome with emotion, he wanted to comfort her,

but she suddenly stood up, wiped her tears, and approached him,

"I know you investigated me but found nothing. Do you know why? Because the people I once called family erased my existence. They wanted to kill me for my father's property, but I escaped. I didn't escape to save my life; I escaped to make them suffer for what they did to me and my parents."Why should I expect someone like you, a stranger, to respect me?

I came here hoping to forget the past, at least for a while. But from the moment I joined your company, you reminded me that I have no one.

today, you crossed the line. You wanted Mr. Huo to take advantage of me just to make me quit. Well, you got what you wanted. I quit. I'll send my resignation letter tomorrow."Are you happy now? Your wish is fulfilled. Goodbye."She quickly got into her car and drove off, leaving Mo Shira speechless.

He stood there for about 20 minutes, reflecting on what had happened. He couldn't understand why he had treated her so poorly. She had already suffered so much, and he had only added to her pain.

He felt like a monster and couldn't help but blame himself.Even though he knew the kind of person Huo Yi was, he never expected him to do something so vile to his secretary.

He only wanted to give her a hard time convincing her to sign the papers; he had no idea Huo Yi would try to take advantage of her. If it weren't for a worker who saw what was happening and called him, and the fact that he arrived just in time, only God knows what might have happened.Clenching his fists, he thought about the possible horrors she narrowly escaped. When he finally moved, he went to see his grandfather to learn more about what had happened to Yue Ling in her past.
