The Deadly Stare

The people living in this world have no idea of what might in a few years, months, weeks, days or even in the next second. In a few years the sun will deplete and there are more than enough chances of overpopulation... In a few months there might no water and clean air to help us survive... In a few weeks the Earth might be too hot due to global warming... In a few days there might be a sudden AI attack... In a few hours there might be a nuclear missile accidental launch... In a few minutes there might be an Alien invasion... In a few seconds a new virus or a disease might emerge to kill all life.. There are some even scarier things like an asteroid collision, a zombie apocalypse, etc. To think about it the humanity is on the verge of extinction every single point of time. But how will the humans survive and stay alive in the end is a bigger question? I just happen to have a nightmare about something far more dangerous than these. So, I decided to turn it into a story in order to give it an ending... A acid created by humans which turned a girl into a killing machine. The extreme pressure and emotions in her will play this game! How will the story end? Well that is something that only time will tell. Read the Story to find out... ___________ This story is completely fiction based and a figment of the Author's imagination. Chapter: The Train To Isolated Island

In California, in the year 2124, the beautiful skyscrapers and buildings all are now...broken, dull, colourless. Empty streets and broken things are all an eye can see.

But the real creatures can only be seen when a alive humans comes out. The streets that are a empty will be full of.. zombies.

And the things that are broken will break some more as zombies rush to their food and fight with each other for that piece of flesh.

______

IN AN ABANDONED HOUSE..

Amelia a girl so beautiful with deep dark black eyes and a faint red dragon on her arm...She is probably about nineteen now...

However she was not born with all this zombie commotion around instead it was quite peacefull then. But if you say this to her she'd reply "That time a lot worse than what humanity is facing now."

Ofcourse, what else a girl would say when her parents died when she was three and her grandfather left her when she was twelve.

And you don't want to know about her grandmother...Well, just say she became a zombie trying to protect young Amelia when she was 16.

Amelia packed her stuff in a black bag which was quite tattered. She just threw some bullets, guns, a pen, some small cells and a laptop in carelessly.

But a diary was a thing she placed quite carefully in the bag after swiping off the dust and hugging it gently. It was old as well.

It was not easy finding stuff like food and electronics with zombies around almost everywhere. You won't know where they will pop out next.

These zombies were not smart but their hearing had increased a lot since the past two years. They could easily hear the noises we don't.

Even though their progress was not very fast, the fact that they are evolving gradually can't be ignored easily.

She refilled two guns which didn't put in the bag. She wore a belt of bullets around her waist and two more guns were hanging from the belt.

She then went up to roof. It was very dark and moon shone beautifully in the background. She was wearing a pair of black jeans and a tight shirt with a vest.

She was wearing a deep black mask. She also wore a shabby cap with a torn off logo pulled downwards. Only her deep eyes were seen.

You could probably mistake her for an assassin or a soldier. There was a sniper rifle on the roof. She checked it. There were still five bullets left in it.

"Bingo!" said Amelia.

She layed down on the roof and picked up the rifle. She flipped open the telescopic glass and kept it near her eye and aimed.

She then looked at her watch and checked the time. She looked at the railway track close by and then back at the glass.

She aimed and killed three zombies closet to the house. Soon the streets were filled with zombies. The view of the roads were completely blocked.

She stood up and threw the rifle away. She took the two guns she had with her. She saw the glowing light not too far away.

She jumped down from the roof of the shop. She used the zombies as ladder and jumped on them from one end to the other then onto a train.

..but a zombie managed to grab hold of Amelia's foot. She wasn't surprised nor scared. She pointed a gun at him and shot him between the eyes.

"That was for my grand mother, you freak" said Amelia.

In the Train..

She climbed down and jumped into the train through the door. She bumped into someone but she didn't look up nor said sorry.

She just refilled the gun with which she killed the zombie. She adjusted her cap and looked around aimlessly and sighed.

The train was very high tech and beautifully designed with glass. This was the first thing she saw after four years of dullness.

She looked exactly like a soldier but a little lazy. One of her foot was covered in blood. She seemed cold as she put the guns in the back pocket.

No one was surprised when they heard a bang on the roof or when they saw a zombie fall neither when she jumped inside. They were familiar with this.

"Aren't those too many guns?" asked the man she bumped into earlier.

"Try saying the same thing when imagine yourself living in the centre of a state filled with zombies for four years..and three out of those four years you were alone without any grown up or training of any kind" Amelia replied coldly.

Most of the people were looking at her when she said this and were about to ignore her. But just then she removed her mask and stuffed it into her bag.

She then removed her cap to set her hair, revealing a delicate looking snow white face and then put it on again. Everyone was looking at her.

Before any of them could react or the man could speak she asked a man in an uniform " where do I go?" in rebellious tone.

He pointed involuntarily and said "section B5" and she walked out of the cart leaving everyone at awe.

The shuting noise of the door brought then to their sense...

The people couldn't help but stare at Amelia's back as walked away from them and didn't even bother to look back.

After that till they reached the island, all the gossips and talks were mainly focused at Amelia being cold yet beautiful.

"She was a angel!!"

"She's even beautiful that my madam!"

"Please God tell me her beauty secret"

"The man she chooses will be more than just lucky"

"Why is God so unfair?!"

As she walked through two more train carts she saw most of them were staring at her. So, before entering another cart she put her mask back on.

________

IN SECTION B5

After some time she reached the cart numbered B5...

She entered and saw not many people there but none as well dressed as the people she saw earlier on the train.

They were all survivors like her. She looked around and saw an empty seat and threw her bag on the seat. She sat down after a while.

There was a man who was putting a bandage on a boy in his twenties. Actually, everyone in this cart looked quite hurt.

She removed her mask and cap and put them in the side pocket of the bag hurriedly and was finally relaxed a bit.

"You all had too struggle" Amelia said in a cold tone.

Everyone looked at her but couldn't look away. The man finished bandaging the other boy and turned towards Amelia.

He also froze... Amelia snapped her fingers and everyone came back to their senses...

"Um..I am Sergeant Will from Canada" said the man who was a bandage said.

"Are you hurt or need anything?" he asked.

"That must have been hard with Habats or the Mobats" said Amelia expressionlessly.

Habats and were an intersection between hawks and bats. The weaker ones were the Habats and Mobats were the stronger ones.

They were created in a science lab in Canada after the bordering...

The Bordering was the time when every state in the world bordered themselves from the rest of the world. All means of communication and transportation were cut execpt between the Chief Heads of every state.

It was made a rule in 2042 in order to prevent wars and maintain peace but it resulted in more vigorous competition.

By the year 2080, almost the whole world was in crisis of some kind due to the annual Inter-state science competition.

It resulted with various new particles and substances but they all turned against humanity like the robots took over Hong Kong, Habats in Canada, permafrost in Beijing, Zombies in California, extreme floods in India which overflowed to nepal as well.

"Nah, I am not hurt...just give a piece of paper" Amelia Said.
