I groaned ready to pull out my hair. "You can't move your pawn backward. It can only move forward."
This was the seventh time he heard this rule.
Sabastian caressed his chin. "I am regrouping to strategize."
What?
I wiped my forehead with my hand. "There is no such thing as regrouping in chess, Sabastian. You have a few more pieces on the board. Move one of them."
"I don't want to do that. This is war and in war, we can retreat, strategize, and make new plays."
"Well, this is not war."
He waved his hand over the board. "It is now." The pieces on the board came alive. They sauntered over to where their King sat on his throne. The knights dismount from their horses and joined the group. "Don't worry, I'll give you time to strategize too."
