We are not safe here

Kyle hits the accelerator and starts speeding up. He manages to get away and starts regrouping the remaining vehicles before coming back to base.

The gate opens and they enter the base.

Everybody gets out and starts unloading.

They gather in the center again to remember the dead. Rachel joins them confusingly.

Rose is waiting for her patiently, as she enters the cabin, she says "Tell me everything."

Rachel takes a deep breath and explains everything to her.

"Oh my God, you saw it for yourself. Tell me how it looks?" Rose asks in excitement.

"I just had a glimpse before it swept away the cars. It was horrible. A gigantic and hideous monster"

They kept talking for the rest of the night before going to sleep.

Next morning, as Rachel was again hoping to go out, Kyle tells her that she had only one chance and she had already lost it.

Rachel resists but he leaves with his men.

"He is stubborn," Rose tells Rachel.

Rachel watches the men leaving silently.

They spend most of the day talking and taking small naps.

As the night approaches, the gate opens and vehicles start entering, but Kyle's vehicle was missing.

Rachel and Rose looked at each other and something went through their minds.

"Where is Kyle?" Rachel asks in a low voice.

"Maybe he couldn't make it" Rose responded in the same voice as they again locked eyes.

Men rush towards a vehicle and take out Kyle from another car heavily injured.

"He is alive," Rachel exclaimed.

"Barely alive I'll say" Rose responded as men carried him towards his cabin.

Many men were missing. Their numbers had halved from the day Rachel and Rose came here.

When the man came to give them food, Rachel asked him "What happened to Kyle?"

"He came under attack. It's a miracle that he is alive" the man responded.

Rachel was beginning to realize the power and ruthlessness of these creatures.

The environment of the base was sad that day. Everybody was worried about their leader.

Rachel saw it as an opportunity to flee, as Kyle was injured, and starts thinking about it.

She makes a plan and shares it with Rose.

Rose calls it risky but agrees upon repeated requests.

Next morning, Kyle comes out of his cabin giving a shock to everyone and a severe shock to Rachel and Rose. He waves at his men chanting and cheering for him and tells them to rest for this day.

"What are we going to do now?" Rose asks in disappointment.

"Just stick to the plan." Rachel tells her, managing to keep herself from falling into the depths of helplessness.

That was a strange day. Very few were working, mostly sleeping.

Only one man was monitoring the screens.

Rachel and Rose were closely watching their activities with an escape plan in mind.

But then the worst happens, something nobody was planning or had an idea about.

The ground starts shaking slightly. The man on the screen starts yelling. "It's coming. It's coming"

The base is in chaos. Men start shouting and running for ammo.

A man goes and wakes Kyle up. He manages to come outside and tells his men to remain calm and get ready for the battle.

But his weak, trembling voice had lost its effect.

People rush towards the gate but return as nobody dared to go outside.

Rachel and Rose start beating the walls but nobody notices them.

"Were we destined to die like this?" Rose says in a shivering voice hugging Rachel.

"I don't feel like dying today" Rachel tries to keep her cool.

The Earth starts shaking heavily now and people start sitting on the ground, taking cover of any object they find.

Suddenly, Sunlight enters the warehouse, which was completely and heavily covered from all sides, with a huge noise. The whole wall of the warehouse collapses and there enters a horrific, majestic and abominable creature with large tentacles pointed towards the front.

People start firing bullets and rocket launchers towards it in chaos, having no effect on it. Some even passed out by just looking straight at it.

"Oh, My dear Lord" Rachel says horrified.

Rose holds tightly to Rachel.

The creature gives a blow by its large tentacle and destroys everything in the way.

In the second blow, it destroys the cabins involving Kyle's. Kyle rushes outside but the tentacle gets him, cutting him in half and spilling his blood all over.

Rachel grabs Rose, gets into the sleeping bag and moves under the table, hoping to stay alive through this.

Destruction continues as the roof of the base starts falling, people running and yelling.

The ceiling hits the cabin in which Rachel and Rose were lying, crushing the cabin. They hold their breaths.

It ended within minutes and the creature passed through.

Rachel and Rose struggled their way out and managed to get out through a pile of wreckage.

As they came out, they saw the destruction and aftermath of this deadly attack. There were piles and piles of wreckage, only five people including them had made it. All others were dead, some may be buried alive.

Rachel asks "How are we going to defeat this thing?"

The creature looks at Rachel.

"I don't know!" Rose shouts, scared.

The creature slowly walks towards Rachel and begins to make a growling noise.

Rachel hides behind a dumpster and waits. The creature stands outside the warehouse.

The creature makes a growling noise as it approaches Rachel. Rachel is paralyzed with fear.

Rachel hears gunshots from inside the warehouse
