"What are you doing?" Emmelyn whispered and pinched her husband's naughty hand. "We are in public place!"
Mars grinned and pecked her pouting lips. "No, we're not."
"Yes, we are. This is the throne room, NOT our personal chamber."
"Well, do you see anyone around here?" Mars asked her.
Emmelyn cast her glance around them and realized her husband was right. There was not a single soul could be seen now, which was weird because usually, someone would always hover around her husband, a knight, a minister, staff, or even the royal butler.
"Where is everybody?" Emmelyn asked, wondering. "Did you tell them to go? When?"
"Well... my people are smart. When they saw you enter, they immediately left to give us privacy," Mars explained. "They will not come back until you leave or I summon them to enter."
"Oh..." Emmelyn chuckled. Apparently, her husband trained his people well. "It doesn't mean we can do whatever here. It's still a public place."
