Kian would be home back soon and she knew that once in home, she would not be getting anytime alone to talk to Melissa about Ross.
So not wanting to waste anymore time, and taking advantage of the situation right then in the moment, she decided to call Melissa, be straightforward and ask how was Ross.
The phone kept ringing but nobody answered. And in her heart she felt as if they were not going to pick up.
But on the second time, she did and Tin was nervous, she even stuttered to get her basic words right.
"Tinsley?"
Melissa asked. The voice was unclear. And Tinsley had gone mute when she heard Melissa's voice.
"Is this you?"
"Yes...yes, this is me."
She finally answered. And the silence that followed was not long but what she came to know after it was over, got her static and unmoving.
"I...Uh...I called to know about...Ross...how is he?"
