Disappearing into the night

On the small continent of Elengor a blood snake slithered quietly, quickly and efficiently through the forest floor, after waiting for his mana to gather Eren now set out to further gain levels. No creature was safe like a hunter following its prey he would always follow the thickest sliver of red string guiding him towards a tasty meal whether it was horned rabbits, hamsters or even other predatory species such as the racoons he saw with massive fangs protruding from there mouth. They all died to him in the end the two racoons he had found and hunted after a somewhat drawn out battle had now risen his level up to level 5.

After reaching level 5 Eren also realised his skills required him to be a much higher level for them to level up. This in turn meant he would have to find bigger prey upon deciding this Eren ignored all the other small animals and instead slithered around somewhat aimlessly until he recognized the cave he was born, to his surprise there were small humanoid figures patrolling around his birthplace. Curling around a thick vine hoisting himself upwards to a branch with a perfect view towards the cave.

With green long ears horrible yellow eyes and a dirty even longer nose the 'goblins' were just like what he read about back on earth, with there height reaching just under a meter and each other them holding some sort of weapon the weapons were akin to what a caveman would use some were wielding sharp wooden sticks and clubs while some of the others had sharp pieces of metal they has scavenged. "Undeniably idiotic creatures" Eren smirked inwardly and then in grotesque as he looked once again just like beasts the naked goblins were fucking like rabbits out in the open, there short green penises and equally green balls would of caused him to gag if he still had a human form, nevertheless the resemblance between male and female was uncanny if not for there lack of appendages he couldn't tell the difference. He also could not understand the strange language they communicated in, Eren called it a language but it was more as if they talked with a series of grunts and hand gesturing rather than actual words.

The cold settled in as the sunlight faded, while observing the goblins movements intelligence and build as he was perched upon the branch Eren also counted there numbers, he was sure there was no more than 10 goblins dwelling in his birthplace. The only other noteworthy intelligence he gathered was there was one goblin that stood out from the rest, standing slightly taller and with a stronger build it was obvious this was the leader of this swarm of goblins. With Eren's mana now topped up he waited till the two weakest looking goblins came out to guard the cave in the dead of night, in a stroke of look one of the single goblins located in front of the cave came over to the tree his was perched upon squatting down to defecate only to find the blood snake wrapped around his mouth muffling its cries for help while its fangs found there way into his neck.

The boost of (exp) the goblin Eren sucked dry gave him was a very large amount, seeing this he continued to hunt happily slithering in the shadows towards the remaining guard who was walking towards his kins corpse. Curious as to why the other guard hadn't come back he went to check on him only to see the collapsed goblin covered in his own excrement laid on the forest floor.

*SNAP* the skill (Flash Strike) activated leaving a blur of red hurtling towards the unsuspecting goblins throat, as he did with the last goblin he curled the lower half of his scaley body constricting around the goblins mouth muffling any pleas for assistance.

Venturing into the cave the blood snakes eyes glowed a red hue as its eyesight enhanced, as slowly as possible he positioned himself towards the closest goblin sleeping on a bed of leaves using the same movement as before he quickly despatched the goblin along with the other two sleeping near him. With there now being only 5 goblins left and his stomach feeling heavy Eren accidently hit a small pebble causing it to travel towards the nearest sleeper, unfortunately the large eared goblin noticed opening its disgusting eyes. Now in a panic activating his skill (Flash Strike) *SNAP* the load noise echoed throughout the cave waking the remaining goblins, stuffing as much blood from the deceased goblin in his gut as he could the now slightly budging blood snake was slithering out the cave as fast as his scales could carry him.

*THUD**THUD**THUD*

Many pairs of goblin feet quickly gaining pace ran towards Eren with anger in there eyes the leader only a few meters away, with every second he edged closer to Eren, Nevertheless Eren was getting closer to the woods where he could hide in the thick shrubbery but as he was only a few meters from escaping *BANG* the large club hit his body shaking his internal organs making Eren spit up some of the blood from the goblins he killed. The pain woke Eren up who quickly activated the skill (Flash Strike) falling only a few centimetres short of the leader goblin who on reflex stepped back causing him to stumble, this was all Eren needed as his blood red body disappeared into the night.
