The Birth of a Demon Lord

Labels affect people's lives in any world. As it turns out, being a demon brings a bunch of dangers. After his reincarnation the idea of being a demon didn't really bother Azemo, instead the reality of magic and fantasy occupied his thoughts. Gaining more power or a new technique was more important than learning about the war between demons, humans and beasts. Also he was reborn with modern day villains so being a demon was the least of his worries. At first it was like he was back at school, a school filled with violence and death but he was still learning stuff. However Azemo would be forced to learn about the gravity of being a demon when he ventured from the demon stronghold. Azemo did not have any grand goals or ideas but the world has a way of forcing troubles and tribulations upon beings.

Fuzzy Inklings of Something Strange

"Okay let's see what we are working with."

Caya muttered to herself and I felt as if I was really just there to be experimented on. Caya gave off the feeling that she was all by herself and I could not help getting caught up in the atmosphere.

"Okay okay, let's get rid of this bandage."

Caya did not use a knife like the doctor and her fingers were very cold as they pulled the bandage off of my back.

"Hmm… a lycine huh. Well time for the magic."

I was pretty impressed that she could tell the monster just from a wound that was already beginning to heal, but soon I could only focus on the pain.

It came as a surprise as a biting cold raced across my back followed by a searing heat. After the two competing sensations finished, the pain did not stop as it felt like my skin was being pulled and nailed together. I would not be surprised if when I looked at my back later, it would look like some sort of undead zombie.
