WFP#37 BRONZE WINNER COMPLETED # UNDER EDITING It was a bright and sunny day. Okay. Sorry about that. It was not a bright and sunny day rather a dark and stormy night even worse was the pelting heavy rain that beat onto earth with a fury enough to rival the battle of the Greek gods. The stars that had originally decorated the sky during the earlier part of the night were no longer visible. The full moon whose brightness had outshone the twinkling stars was now pitifully hiding behind the heavy dark cloud. If one could understand the language of nature, its terrified cry of sorrow could be heard. In the middle of a forest stood a majestic castle whose architecture outshone every other thing that existed near and far from it for almost a hundred miles. This was the castle that no one had access to except the owners who were made up of a small family of six. As the rain fell with an increase in speed every second that passed by, a slender figure could be seen lying in the center of a humongous bed. The slender finger could be seen tugging at the duvet trying to disappear within its warmth. Long brown curly hair was spread neatly on the pillow as the small face disappeared under the heavy purple duvet. A few minutes passed by with the slender body sleeping peacefully without any disturbance. When the clock struck midnight, everything began to change. The once majestic castle that shone brightly was shrouded by a thick and heavy fog such that it became invisible to ordinary eyes. .......@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@........ The blond guy kept following the beauty with a wild personality. He watched her hop around from one place to another as she window shopped. He watched he move from one stall to another . Her eyes would widen every time she saw something that piqued her interest.
Zamarad was having the time of her life as she walked around the biggest market in the area. It had been long since she last walked freely not to purchase but just to enjoy the views. Who knew that a trip to the market could be so much fun? she had enough money to purchase whatever she needed but her goal was to enjoy the view and the air.
She passed by a street food vendor who was grilling meat. Her mouth watered as the smoky smell of the meat assaulted her nose. She retracted her steps and purchased six sticks of grilled meat. the first bite she took was heavenly to her. She closed her eyes to savor the taste of the meat. It was heavenly. She let out an involuntary moan of pleasure.
Arsalan watched in delight at the erotic image that was supposed to be innocent. Damn. she looks so good. he thought. He could see clearly how she looked and could hear her loud and clear with his enhanced hearing. He was one of the most powerful hybrid to have been born yet.
He was not proud of his origin but he was proud of the advantages that came with being a hybrid at times like this. He had found a flower that got him feeling refreshed and invigorated by the girl who appeared so lively and carefree.
Arsalan as his name states is the leader of the hybrid warriors. He was a fearless and a lone wolf. He worked best alone on missions like the one he was on. For the first time his attention was taken away from his mission by something that he would not normally pay attention to.
The oblivious girl enjoyed her grilled meat as she walked along. she would occasionally walk towards the stalls that sold colorful scarfs. She picked up a multi-colored scarf and wrapped it around her head. She would then return it and try on another and another until she got bored and walked away from the stall.
Zamarad liked anklets the most. She passed by a stall where jewelries were being sold. her eyes lit up with delight as she walked towards the stall. Arsalan could no longer keep his distance and went closer until he stood directly behind her.
The moment he stood near her, her scent assaulted his nose. He took in a deep breath . She smells so good. " what? " The sound of her voice made his closed eyes fly open. " umm, did I say that out loud?" Zamarad laughed awkwardly looking at the gorgeous sky blue eyes . " You did. Thank you." she turned away from him after thanking him.
If there was one thing Zamarad was aware of, it was her body and face. She was aware of her compelling beautiful face and the amount of attention she gets because of it. She was used to being told that she was beautiful, but it was certainly the first time that a man had told her how good she smelled.
She went back to checking out the trinkets, anklets and bracelets. As she looked around, her eyes fell on one of the finest anklets she had ever seen. It was made of silver chains which was made in an intricate star shaped pattern. A hanging moon was attached to the silver chain on the right and on the left.
The center had a hanging crescent which was surrounded by small starts. It almost looked like the pattern that was engraved on her navel and back. Her hands stretched towards the anklet to reach for it but another hand got to him before her own.
This made Zamarad withdraw her hand before it touched the other man's hand. It was the same blond who commented about her scent. She took her time to check him out. His sky blue clear eyes collided with her own plain hazel eyes that appeared brown whenever she was far. Her gaze was the first to move downward towards his pointed nose to his well defined jaws.
The stubbles that smeared his flawless face gave him a rugged look. he is handsome, she thought, but I like the man in my dreams better. He is gorgeous. more gorgeous than me. This thought made her giggle out loud. Arsalan was brought back from his sinful thoughts by her childish pure giggles.
" Do I look funny?" he asked feeling self conscious. Zamarad could no longer contain her giggles and let out a thrilled laughter." I I..I am sorry. I just had a silly thought which made m laugh. it was not meant to mock you. I am sorry." she apologized trying to stop her laughter.
Arsalan smiled at her childish behavior and let slip a smile. " You have a beautiful smile but an even more beautiful laugh." His deep voice brought goose bumps to her skin. She suddenly felt self-conscious. the man had turned the attention back to her. She turned away from him with the intention of avoiding him but Arsalan was not having it.
He had started the conversation and he looked forward to having more with her. " You like this anklet? I was just looking at it. it has a familiar pattern." Zamarad looked at the man with curiosity in her eyes. " really? what pattern is that? mind telling me about it? " she asked trying to be as subtle as possible.
Now is my chance to befriend her, thought the man. " I can tell you about it but this place is too public for freely sharing such sacred information. Do you mind walking to somewhere more private with me?" he asked. Zamarad looked at the man and thought for a few minutes before she nodded her head. Arsalan paid for the anklet and followed her.
The two walked away from the busy market towards the park that was not far from the market. as they walked together silently, they drew the attention of every one who passed by them. the two looked like a couple whose looks and body matched each other. Is the man in my dreams real? I wish I could meet him one day. He is an eye candy. she thought finally stopping before an empty bench.
