Chapter 1: The Arrival

Kurazaki Sakamoto, a 20-year-old who got sent on a business trip by his boss.

While he was on the company's private jet he saw a black blur, and with a big explosion the plane issued some turbulence.

While Sakamoto was at his apartment, he got a call from his boss.

He wanted Sakamoto to go on an urgent business trip to the United States.

Although he didn't want to, he drove to the airport where his friend and two secretaries were waiting for Sakamoto to arrive.

As he was in the air, he got an anonymous call, and was able to distinguish a word saying, "brace yourself".

He quickly looked around scared and with a bit of turbulence he witnessed an incredible sight.

A dark red streak with a black blur passed by, almost as if it was a black dragon.

Sakamoto had just witnessed a dragon in the sky.

With a loud roar coming from the dragon, the sky trembled and with a big bang, Sakamoto had found himself in an unfamiliar land.

Sakamoto at that moment felt an eerie, dark, sinister presence, and then he saw a black figure appear out of nowhere and struck the plane down as it quickly vanished.

The plane went down fast, and the pilot spoke through the intercom saying, "hold on tight!".

As the plane hit the ground hard, Sakamoto saw his friend staring at him with a bloody face saying "live".

His eyes felt heavy as he was hearing the screams coming from Alice and Mika, the two secretaries.

As he was falling unconscious he saw the dragon shrink down into his human form while running towards him.

Sakamoto was transported in a blank room with a white blurry figure that told him, "you have my blessing" Sakamoto looked at his hands and saw all the wounds fading away.

The man who carried Sakamoto and his companions to Syrion, the village medic to be treated, is the village chief.

By the time they got there Sakamoto wounds were no longer there, it seems like he had healed himself with magic when he was unconscious.

The dragon that had saved Sakamoto from the plane crash is called Yakusaba.

Yakusaba and his village belong to a dragon race called Daedra, they are currently embroiled in a war with another powerful dragon tribe called the Etria dragons.

Yakusaba and Syrion looked concerned as Sakamoto started to wake up, Yakusaba said to him "how are you feeling? '' Sakamoto answers "I'm doing fine, where am I? '' Yakusaba told him he was in their village, the Garden village.

He also said his plane had crashed, with a confused face Sakamoto thought about his friend, and what about the dragon he saw, he wondered if it was all a dream.

Sakamoto asked about the people he was traveling with, and the medic Syrion told Sakamoto that his friends were alright with the exception of the young male who was in grave danger and didn't have long to live, also there was someone else but he past away by the time Yakusaba got to him.

Sakamoto thought "that must have been the pilot who died".

Alice, one of the assistants came into the room we're Sakamoto was and said with a cry, "it's all my fault!"

She had said that Sakamoto's friend had broken her fall when the plane crashed and was gravely injured because of her.

Alice added that Mika's injury had been healed with magic as well as hers, she seemed rather surprised by that fact.

Syrion stated that he had used healing magic on them to heal their wounds, but Sakamoto had healed himself while unconscious.

Yakusaba and Syrion were rather surprised by that fact.

Although Syrion was able to use magic to heal, he couldn't completely restore the young man because his wounds were too deep.

Sakamoto, as worried as he was for his best friend, demanded to see him immediately, as they took Sakamoto to see his friend.

Rudy, Sakamoto's friend said with a deep breath "please take care of Alice '' Rudy's assistant and also his childhood friend.

Alice, Rudy, and Sakamoto have known each other since they were very little, and grew up to work in the same place.

Rudy with a final breath said "thank you" as Sakamoto stairs at Rudy crying, Sakamoto remembers all the times when Rudy was there for him.

Rudy was a really good friend of Sakamoto and was really devastated with his death.

Sakamoto fell into depression, and with the hopes of changing his mood, Alice and Mika started to spend more time around him.

Even though Sakamoto has always been a cold person, after Rudy's death Sakamoto really didn't talk to anybody.

A few days passed, and they decided to make Rudy a funeral.

Alice and Mika cried their fill, and when it ended, Yakusaba told Sakamoto in secret to come see him for some urgent matters.

Unwillingly, Sakamoto went to see the village chief in response to his calling, he said there were some urgent matters to discuss.

Alice and Mika were also there waiting, Yakusaba started telling Sakamoto that he has very powerful magic, and also started to explain exactly why he was on earth.

The dragons have been at war for many years now and Yakusaba was looking for a way to end this war once and for all.

The demon lord, a very powerful being has recently been resurrected and wants to exterminate the dragon tribes due to the fact that they posed a big threat to him.

The dragon tribes were currently in war and it was very easy for the demon lord to come and exterminate all the dragons.

Sakamoto with a confused face thought, "what does he mean dragons?"

Yakusaba kindly asked for their help, and Sakamoto Hastily interrupted Yakusaba and said "We won't do it, take us back to earth" Yakusaba sadly can't do that due to his powers limitations.

Yakusaba powers only lets him travel to other worlds every five years, as Yakusaba explains to Sakamoto.

The demon lord has been threatening to send an army to wipe out all the dragons.

The demon lord is trying to get rid of all the dragons at that moment because there is inner conflict, he may be able to take all the dragons out if they are in war, after all if they united they could defeat The demon lord himself.

Yakusaba explained to Sakamoto the importance of bringing the two tribes together so the demon lord won't kill them off then move on to the other tribes.

Sakamoto has enough power to end the debate between the two tribes even though he doesn't know it, yet he refuses to do anything, Sakamoto feels depressed and wants to go back to his home land.

Magic comes from within someone and it is their life force.

If they drain too much of their magic, they'll be in danger of dying, explained Yakusaba as he lit a fire between his fingers.

Sakamoto, Alice and Mika looked surprised as Yakusaba lit a fire out of nowhere like magic, they thought to themselves " we really are in a fantasy world".

Magic is an essential piece of life and depending on the amount of capacity for magic you have is the amount of magic you can project, as Yakusaba continues to explain how magic works.

Although you are born with a certain capacity of magical power you can increase it by training and constantly using magic.

Magic is split between four elements, fire, water, wind, and earth, and those are the four basic element dragons can be born with although there could also be special elements to be born with for example light, darkness, and space.

Space magic is a really rare element someone can be born with, but the village chief Yakusaba has been blessed with the element of space although it has its limits like Yakusaba had explained earlier, you can only travel to other worlds every five years.

He pulled out what looked like a book from the air, and Sakamoto thought "that must be part of his space magic".

Yakusaba explained that the book he was holding can read the capacity of someone's magical power capacity.

Yakusaba placed down the book and opened it as he said "let's check your magic capacity" Alice stepped forward and placed her hand on the book.

As the book started to flash a bright white color, the book read, total magic capacity 600,000.

Yakusaba was scared, and amazed at the same time because the average dragon had a total capacity of 100,000, Yakusaba himself stated that he only has 500,000.

Mika stepped up and placed her hand on the book and shined a bright crimson red color almost like blood, her magic capacity had said 680,000.

Sakamoto before stepping forward asked about the difference in the colors, and Yakusaba explains that the color symbolizes the element they are most proficient in.

He stepped forward and placed his hand on the book, and with that the book didn't take long to lose control and start flashing with all this different kinds of colors, Yakusaba quickly closed the book and with a surprised look, Sakamoto said "what was that" as Yakusaba explained that those who are proficient in all elements are Gods.

Sakamoto with a surprised face remembers about the dream where he was in that black room with this blurry figure.

Alice and Mika started training after Yakusaba showed them their magical capacity, unfortunately Sakamoto couldn't get a reading on how much magic he actually has due to him breaking the book, Yakusaba said that he has to have more than 1,000,000 magical capacity.
