A Titan is Born

Mike spent a lot of time within the football-shaped root. Fundamentally, he was no longer human. There was not a shred of his body remaining. Mike's nature led him to an early grave, depending on how you looked at the bigger picture. The man known as Mike, no longer existed.

His very scent would change, his essence, his soul forever altered.

Mike's thoughts and memories were the biggest part, the most of what remained from his original self. Everything had been altered, keyed to keeping the new body in near perfect state to take their power.

To destroy his mortal coil would have killed him but to remodel it completely, was nothing for the combined efforts of the from the Titans. The change of his body had some odd effects, not even the Titans knew exactly what would happen in their endeavor when they had first begun.

The Titans were at the pinnacle of all pinnacles during each of their reigns. It was not until they each chose the same fates and passed on to something else, that their physical remains and legacies were left behind, willed into existence through hard study and great expense.

Mike had taken all of their inheritances, it was unprecedented and beyond the norm.

While Mike was somehow becoming a Titan, he was a Human before he was ever anything else. The Five Titans he had inherited a legacy from, were of different species, their contribution's equally terrifying when put into action.

There was no telling which direction the powers would take root or even what period of time would pass before his growth would begin to manifest, if at all. No Titan had ever been given a legacy, they had only left the body behind. Each of them a Guardian, wondrous and unique, lost in the ages of the world.

The world was not a kind world, it was savage. Guardians fought Custodians, they splintered and War erupted. Through the millennia, several great Guardians found their way to that place, each left their legacy, moving from this World.

Accompanied, never taken.

Mike learned that he could not allow anyone to destroy the Altar.

What he thought was an arena, was a monument to their power. Its secrets, along with the contents on or in the remains would be his gains, and his alone. The changes in his body would be his physical gain, and the Memories he would eventually call upon were the gift to his soul. The bodies of the Old ones, the Titans, were his to claim.

The Fourth of the Titans had been a Poocha, Mike relived the memories of running with the pack. The taste of his first official hunt's blood on his lips and sweet taste of meat. Mike suddenly felt like he understood the Girls a bit more than before. Perhaps it was a primal instinct of the Titan inside him, or perhaps it was the memories he was consuming at an ever-growing pace but Mike felt moved the more he thought about them.

Their willingness to remain at his side even after being freed only showed value and trust.

Mike was their Alpha.

The First Titan was named Munidod, he was the first creation of the Creator, an immortal being that snuffed out thousands of time until perfected by the Gods of Chaos. He did battle with his kin in an act of vengeance for his fallen lover, his creator and children, his journey ended there only to ascend to another form of existence.

A Guardian made from the man from another world, lost, alone, moved on to another world, alone. He was immune to vacuum environments and didn't require breathing for extremely long periods of time. Born in Space, he would pick any choice of Worlds. The greatest of their kind, he became know as the First Titan. Even the greatest cannot be in all places at once.

Even the gods must turn their eyes from time to time.

The Second was an Otera, His treasure seeking abilities were called legendary.

The Third was born with a third eye. As a Daivent, his perception abilities were among the most elite. He had a Seventh Sense, a sort of recollection of the Future. He saw no future for him if he stayed, he followed in the steps of Munidod when he stumbled across the graveyard.

The Fifth Titan was a bit of a Rage Monster. Much like a wild Demon, her clan went to war. Maxine was led to the Titan's Throne eventually, like the others. Her Berserker Skills earned her the title of 'Death from Above, the High Angle Hellion.'

Centuries later, she decided that she had grown tired of the world and just like her, one day it could also become Mike's final resting place. The impression left by her bones and willpower in her legacy left Mike in a blur.

He wondered what he would choose, if the time ever came. When the time came he could rest his mortal coil and move on to something else, leaving behind his own legacy in the process.

Mike was still not living, even up and until the moment of his own death, he let the scope of the process wash over him and didn't think about it. He only observed and did his best to remember it all, living in the moment. It was unique but an isolated existence, boring and unexplored.

From what the Titan's said, It would be an eternity of his choosing, the process could take 100 years, or One Hundred Thousand. Mike's only limitation was his energy levels and present age, when compared to the Titans on the thrones, Mike was just an infant, barely out of the womb.

When the Five Titans had finished or could no longer fit into Mike's small body, Mike could suddenly smell again.

The stench of a dry air filled his nostrils, the Five Titans skeletons started to crumble to pieces.

Mike was still encased inside of the Rootball, the energy pulses had only quickened and he wasn't released.

The Titans were gone, their last action was to enact the changes and final push.

Mike had originally been led to believe it would be a thousand years but the more he thought about it the less it made sense. He never once heard that the process would take a thousand years, he had only heard that it would take a thousand years to surpass them.

Splintering of the rootball got March's attention. In a huff, she pulled on the string attached to the bell outside of the hole. March rang Mona's bell a few dozen times to be sure before she could hear rushing footsteps.

The girls had all come, it was well past closing for the Casino and the bell was waking the surroundings.

As they stood in the darkened Throne Room, Mikes arms were finally breaking free. The faces of Vella and the Poocha Troop had made twitching sensations every time a piece of the roots broke free and fell to the ground.

A bright green pulsation had made everyone but Vella shield their eyes.

When mike finally opened his, he couldn't speak. It had been 5 months, five months of doing nothing. His body should have been in agony, dystrophied and thin. What he found was a new strength he hadn't had before. Mike quietly flexed his hands and let his eyes adjust to the surroundings. It was the first time his new body was seeing, there was little else to do than get acclimated. There were things covering his eyes, he started moving his arms to clear away what was surrounding him.

"Girls?" Mike called out to see if someone was around before his eyes began to take focus.

"We're here." The girls started to cry, Mike could feel the tears falling against his skin.

The weeping women were clinging to Mike like they never had before, his absence was a void in their lives. Mike couldn't really make out the room it was dim so he cast a light spell on the Altar.

The Altar became a bright surface in the dark room, lighting up every corner.

The still crumbling skeletons were turning to dust with every breath. Leaping into action, Mike had some quick thinking and found his ring in the debris, he stored everything away.

Mike placed his hands on the thrones and took what was rightfully his. Inside each of the thrones were a few items, a book, kite, rainbow colored crystal, a small blue and brown marble, and a pair of gloves.

The book explained what the items did, So mike didn't worry too much about figuring it all out at that exact moment.

He still had the girls to attend to, he hadn't responded much since his awakening. Mike stored all the items into his ring and looked to Vella.

Vella wasn't sure what was going to happen, she was the cause of his latest nap, his death, and now she was there again, at his rebirth. Mike thought about the words she had spoken to him when she first came to life.

"Master, has arrived." Mike was done with pretense, he wasn't interested in keeping his hands tied any longer.

Mike slapped at the spot where the green crystal had impacted his corpse. The green crystal had disappeared, fused with his new body. It became the glue that kept his body together during the process, the last remaining portions of their combined consciousnesses.

Vella was apprehensive, she had mostly overstepped the bounds of her oath, brought danger and possible calamity to the group and regardless of the outcome, she still felt some deep rooted shame in her actions.

Mike reached out to grab at Vella's shoulder, when his hand came into contact with her skin, a change happened. Mike could feel a major change in his body again, reconfigured. His whole body became more interesting. Mike had gained an ability but he couldn't figure it out until the girls were on the floor writhing in ecstasy.

"Charm?" Mike started to laugh, but the laughing didn't last long. He hadn't expected this, from what the Titans had told him it would be some time before any sort of changes would manifest. The new ability was absolute and uncontainable at present.

The girls crawled on the ground with their asses in the air, slowly climbing to the waistband of Mike's pants. Mike didn't want it like this, he thought about the things in life that brought him down in public.

'Peeing at a stadium during a ballgame'

'undersized bathing suits on plus size people crowded into a hot elevator'

'liberal logic'

'getting a traffic ticket'

The Irony was not lost on him. Mike finally retracted the Charm, however the girls stopped what they were doing, giggled a bit, and resumed to paw at him.

It had been five months. Five months of only pleasuring themselves without him.

[Omitted 1500 words *not a joke*]

The girls were all back to sleep, even Vella was completely out.

Scattered across the bed, the girls laid atop Mike. His fast beating heart reminded them that he was theirs, through and through.

Mike got up slowly and walked outside to the tunnel. Mike wanted to see the extent of his power, his first test would be the tunnel.
