"Are you saying that Professor Ethan is a hunter?"
"I'm not sure, but that night I saw him in the middle of the forest."
Stiles looked at his friend, who inexplicably believed that Ethan was a fairy tale hunter personally watching over him. "If he were a hunter, wouldn't he have hunted you already?"
"I don't know; I really don't want to think about it," murmured Scott after learning that there were hunters in this small town and that he was a werewolf.
The circumstances he found himself in were extremely worrying; he didn't know who had bitten him or if he could control this power. He had already lost control after a rather intense party and was saved by a mysterious man. Now, he didn't know what to do.
But before his doubts could deepen, a series of distinct footsteps were heard from afar, and a moment later, Ethan entered. "Good morning, everyone. The mandatory class for the third day will begin in a few moments."
As soon as Ethan entered the classroom, this time dressed in a dark red suit, he caught the attention of all the students who were patiently waiting.
Both Scott and Stiles focused their attention on Ethan, who didn't make any sound with his every movement.
'How does he do that?' Even Scott, who has enhanced senses, couldn't detect any sound in Ethan's movements.
Stiles looked at Ethan and admired him more and more. He didn't know how he did it, but simply by existing, he attracted the attention of many girls in this classroom.
Moreover, Stiles couldn't detect any detail that would link Ethan to being a werewolf hunter, and if his class was really good, he would doubt that this man went out at night to kill enemies.
"Today's class will be about werewolves, also known as lycanthropes."
As soon as Ethan mentioned this, the entire class got excited because they thought he was going to talk about the history of their country, not other stories that were really fantastical.
Scott clenched his fists nervously, his gaze sweeping across the class, hoping no one else was as interested in this topic, but to his surprise, everyone was paying attention, including his friend Stiles.
"The werewolf, also known as a lycanthrope or luison, is a legendary creature present in many independent cultures around the world."
Ethan looked at everyone and, with a serious expression, said, "Unlike other magical creatures, lycanthropes have a hierarchy based on five classes, starting with artificial lycanthropes, followed by infected lycanthropes, semi-authentic lycanthropes, and finally, authentic lycanthropes. Some of these classes are also sub-races of Lycanthropes."
Stiles, who was excited about the class, froze. He looked at his friend and wondered what kind of werewolf he was.
How are they distinguished?
"Never in my life did I think I'd be in a class about supernatural creatures; we should record this," murmured Lydia, who quickly took out her cellphone to record the class.
"What are you doing?" Alison didn't know why Lydia was recording Ethan, so she asked in a low voice.
Lydia murmured, "People will surely love this."
"You'll get in trouble."
Stiles, who was watching that conversation out of the corner of his eye, grinned idiotically and murmured, "If you like hunters, I can be one too."
"What?" Scott looked at his friend with an inexplicable expression.
"Just undercover, buddy; I need to know how much danger you're in."
"Infected Lycanthropes are also an alternate branch to those mentioned a moment ago. These are very different from the others because their appearance is quite distinct."
Ethan paused and continued in a grave voice, "These are humans with completely normal appearances, although sometimes a bit hairier, who have been bitten by lycanthropes. On full moon nights, they turn into a sort of cross between human and wolf, a werewolf."
"Unlike other classes, those in this class cannot transform other humans into infected lycanthropes, and the transformation into a werewolf is very painful each time, in addition to being uncontrollable, causing them to transform unconsciously every full moon night."
While Ethan explained this, his gaze shifted toward Scott, who felt increasingly afraid.
