Time passed excruciatingly slowly. The music was old-fashioned, and there were naked women dancing everywhere. It was pure madness, something Bobby could hardly believe.
"I'm going to need therapy after this," Bobby said, much calmer than he felt. After all, he had no idea which of the bizarre phenomena in this place were actually vampires.
Most of the people gathered here were just workers looking for a bit of fun in their lives—a night with a woman before heading back to work. Although none of these people were Ethan's priority, he was determined to save as many of them as possible, even if no one had asked for his help.
It was more of a compulsion, a sense of duty. Sometimes, Ethan believed that fulfilling this duty was the quickest way out of this cursed job.
"Just one more division, and I'm done. I'll send all of this straight to hell," Ethan murmured to himself as he watched the main dance number nearing its end.
Liam slowly drew his shotgun, loaded it fully, and waited patiently.
Bobby, gripping his two pistols, wasn't entirely sure why he was there. But now, with the drug Ethan had given him, he knew his duty was to save people and eliminate dark entities.
"I'm not dying in this place."
Crack!
"Aaaaaahhhhhh!"
"Richard!"
At that moment, Richard, the maniac who had been obsessively kissing the star dancer's foot, screamed in agony as he was bitten.
"That bitch bit me, brother," Richard whimpered.
Seth pulled out his gun and shot the woman in the shoulder.
Bang!
"How's your hand, little brother?" Seth asked, scanning the room for more enemies with his gun ready.
Ethan, who had been sitting, stood up, removed his jacket, and revealed an array of silver grenades strapped across his chest.
Liam did the same, while Bobby, unsure of what to do, simply placed his hands on the table, still holding his pistols.
Everyone was watching them, even Seth, who had no idea what was happening.
But before he could even ask, the woman rose again.
"My name is Ethan Winchester. Anyone who's human, stay out of my way and don't cause me any trouble."
"Richard, look out!"
"Aaaaahhhh!"
Ethan stopped hesitating, and his twin pistols began spitting bullets at the women, who were slowly revealing their true, monstrous forms.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
His shots were almost supernatural; no human could match his accuracy at this moment.
"Arghhhhh!!!"
The vampires who had sealed the doors were met with Ethan's bullets, each one hitting their target with lethal precision.
"Holy mother of God," Bobby muttered as a naked woman lunged at him. Almost instinctively, he fired.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The silver bullets did their job, eliminating the vampires no matter where they struck. Bobby didn't need to worry about his aim; one bullet was enough to take down these monsters.
"Aaaahhhhh!!!"
The place quickly turned into a bloodbath. Some vampires began attacking the humans, making it harder for Ethan to take them down without risking civilian lives.
"Zz… Assault team in position."
"Move in now!" Ethan shouted as he tore the head off a vampire woman.
